Q:

I noticed all weapons have mastery traits, even warhorn and shield.

Is Blademaster trait meant to be the sword mastery?

Should it read “Sword have additional 10% to critical hit chance. Reduce sword skill CD by 20%”?

Sword doesn’t really need cooldown reductions. Reducing cooldown on Savage Leap would make it too strong, considering that it is already one of the best leap skills a Warrior has. Impale and Riposte offer long duration Torment and Bleeds, so reducing their cooldowns would be unwise and would have to come with a reduction to the duration of the Torment and Bleed.

About the only thing with a high cooldown is Final Thrust, but making a -cooldown% trait just for one skill is a bad choice. Rather just reduce the cooldown on Final Thrust alone to 12-13s and be done with it.

Sword is the condition melee weapon of the warrior and it’s made to proc bleed with critical hit, then a 10% of critical rate is good.
Then, we can also say that GS have damage increase, cooldown reduction and might on critical hit…

But there’s not all that need of sword cd reduction.

I so wish there was a trait saying “Convert your condition damage to raw damage from mainhand sword when you pick this skill.”

Bull’s Charge, Dash, Eviscerate, and Shield Bash seems would kind of make the ‘only’, wrong good try though.

except non of these actually qualify as an actual leap other then being a leap finisher
or if you were really counting these “fake” leap skills, i have no idea why would you say savage leap is the best, because, evis is clearly 5 times better.

And this is why you can’t have nice things.

Problem with that is after you stack 25 bleeds you’re completely diminished in DPS capacity!

If sword could keep stacking bleeds beyond 25, or once 25 were reached Sword was buffed by a base 10-15%. As it is you hit like a noodle until 25 bleeds are stacked and then just hit like a noodle.
