Your Three wishes for warrior
Rework Gs “5”
Thats all for now.
New stance mechanic: On F2 and F3 – an aggressive stance and a defensive stance.
A 3rd weapon set: Self explanatory – allow us to swap between 3 weapons in combat.
Overhaul our Traits: Streamline, tweak and improve our Trait trees.
Top three? Hmm, well, there’s a lot more than 3 I have, but here goes:
1) Better utility skills.
The buffs to the signets are very much appreciated, but other utilities still seem not all that useful, or, at the very least, don’t have effects which are useful enough to warrant their use compared to others. Kick and Stomp especially come to mind, mostly due to their low damage or long recharge. The buff to banners was nice, and appreciated, though they still have very limited mobility, and good luck finding party members who take the time to help you move them around in a dungeon. A lot of utility skills need to be refitted, or outright replaced.
2) Better traits.
A lot of traits by themselves are certainly useful, either in the minor or major types, but compared to others just seem weak. Still others, like XI and XII in the strength line, I don’t see the point in using. Other seem broken, such as V in Tactics. Did some testing in Lion’s Arch, and I don’t think it actually increased the range of banners. Further, 50% of the Tactics line being rooting in reviving people (minor traits), which useful in pve, does mean that 50% of the Tactics line is useless in pvp, or so my experience has been, at least.
3) Weapon rebalancing.
I feel like while each weapon has some nice features to it, for warrior, if you’re using a weapon that isn’t putting out high dps, then it’s often not worth it, at least in pve, which is what I play most of the time. Powerful control effects don’t work on bosses, and condition damage, at least on warrior, isn’t comparatively useful, since there’s a dps ‘cap’ on how much condition damage can be taken at any given time, but not raw damage. Much as I like to use a variety of weapons, I find myself either using greatsword or axes for close ranged damage almost all the time, since other weapons just don’t have the damage capability. And to that, I feel like the sheer amount of damage greatswords and axes can do with high damage builds is part of what’s been keeping other aspects of warrior from being better balance.
Having said all this, though, I don’t personally know the best way to remedy these things and other aspects of the class. Class/weapon/skill balancing is not easy task, so, while I’m often disappointed at some choices Anet makes (like, buffing Kick…really?…Really?), I do appreciate the effort in trying.
Stance dancing would be nice.
Third weapon set would be a clunky mechanic forcing all warriors to trait the reduced swap cd imo. Most weapon skills have short CDs so by the time you’re done with 1 weapon’s “rotation” you swap anyways so a third would just be a little much.
Traits do need streamlined. Longbow is for condition specc, but is nowhere near the trees that grant bonuses to condition damage and duration. Axe speccs are all over the place. Riflewutlol?
1) 3rd weapon slot
2) Balancing weapons (build diversity)
3) Survivability (in pvp, pve were fine)
Trait VI in Arms to be replaced with a gain 5 seconds of Vigor on critical hit with a 5 second cool down trait.
Great Axe weapon
Healing Signet/Mending buffed
yes!! keep those great ideas and wishes coming! The more the better!
For there traits to be on-par with other classes for survivability/damage/removing conditions/boons.

this definitly this. warriors utilities are so bad..so are traits and we are all stuck with gs build
“berserker stance clears all CC on you and you’re still immune to CC for 8 seconds”

It should be like this:
Hammer has control.
Greatsword has damage/mobility.
Take the control part, add damage and make the attacks less able to be dodged or completely avoided, WALA a new nice weapon!

Yes! Like the remove a condition every 10 seconds trait that the Guardian has.
I’d also like to see the “Reflect Missiles” trait combined with the “Shield Master” trait.
I want
1)ways to create combo fields w/ out using longbow
2)Burst skills for offhand weapons
3)Brawn changed from burst dmg to adrenaline gained

if we had a 3rd weapon slot i can see it being OP unless there was a restriction. it had to be ranged and it had an unchangeable 10 second CD when you switch off of it (you can switch between the two other weapons to whatever trait/runes you have affecting that)
streamlining traits to make them at par with other classes traits ESPECIALLY in our grandmaster trees which ATM is a silly joke
balancing out control weapons in pve to make them more useful and more mobile. IE adding a non adrenaline fueled gapcloser for the hammer and mace (axe would be OP with a gapcloser unless it was in the offhand 4 which needs some love badly)

Of course a 3rd weapon slot should come with certain restrictions – what form the restrictions should take is another matter but as an idea, allowing Warriors to use three weapons in combat is a fairly good one and one which fits well with our “weapon-master” class description. Naturally, increased options like this would lead to a massive increase in build diversity.
I think we’re all in agreement that our Traits undoubtedly could do with a revamp.

1. Condi removal somewhere in a trait that feels passive because other abilities trigger it.
2. Better healing signet.
3. I don’t know a third.
I would like to see warriors get battlecries. These would function similar to shouts except use adrenaline instead of a recast. they would use f2,f3,f4,f5 keeping the first f1 key as the burst damage.
what these battlecries would actually do i would leave up to the game designers.
beef up the banners
add a third weapon rotation for warriors only
