Just figured I’d get this started now in preparation for the fight to come! Feel free to comment on the upcoming match or offer words of encouragement to our soon-to-be opponents! (And keep in mind there are lots of people not able to be on today, keep constant Score updates for them when reset happens!)

Amazing! My DR heritage make’s us fantastic Rivals, imo, but Both K and DR started at the bottom, and clawed and scratched at each other like runt siblings as larger servers took turns administering bi-weekly beatings. K rose, and fell, DR Rose and fell, and During that time K rebuilt and rose again. It’s a pretty fantastic story and I really am happy for every single one of you who stuck it out, worked to improve your home.

I see you got new members, guilds, and from some reading some new ideas on how to approach things. That’s awesome. I wish you well this week and Do look forward to our next match up. I missed last weeks match, but I will be looking forward to the next time we meet in another Sox Vs. Yankees type match up.

While we know what the outcome is going to be, I wish CD the best of luck and hope they give Kaineng a good glimpse at what the higher tiers are all about.

Really though, I’m so excited about this matchup.

This feels like a good week for a WvW vacation. Let the OP server get another easy win, and then have some fair fights next week. I’ll never understand people who drop down in tiers to take easy victories.

Kaineng shouldn’t have trouble, CD seems pretty much dead from xfers and I don’t see YB putting up much fight either.

Can we lay off the drama posts this week? Threads get closed when we have to keep dealing with them every week. We want a civil discussion this week, not name calling and vague stabs at Kain due to the transfers ;x

Can we make it to reset time before we call the match over and done with please?

Most servers have their highest WvW participation on reset night, lets all have some fun as the maps are capped and all our “transfer OPness” will be sitting in queue.

I agree with this.
The question is whether it will be a bigger blowout than Yak&IoJ vs Mag’s or less.

Personally, I see Ehmry at around a bit better than Yak’s (at least, from the last matchup.) So if I use that as a measuring stick, I’ll have to say Yak’s will need to be prepared for another round of frustration.

Old CD could have held their own, probably. They stomped old mag & ehmry to get to T3 a while ago….. but I just think many CD who are against transferring now may consider it themselves by Monday.

Actually a lot of Yak’s Bend stopped coming out to play during the last match because of overwhelming numbers. I wouldn’t expect this match to be much different, if CD is really dying.

I love all the haters for the Yaks even though we are the best of the 4 servers that have been stomped this past week collecting over 80,000 points compared to the others 30k. Yes Kaineng has lots of numbers, but once the dust settles other servers may throw in the towel the Yak’s get started with old fashion juke tactics.

GL to Crystal Desert, if you guys try to go toe to toe with the fat cats then we’ll do our best to make it level. Otherwise good luck catching our packs Kaineng.

Awesome attitude, I love it. I see a bunch of posts about Kain winning by a landslide, but I won’t buy into that hooey until it happens. I know that CD and Yaks will both bring it this week!

I have much respect for YB, and CD … and rightly so. They have many players with heart and class, but most of all, respect. Sometimes this gets thrown astray when people get into competitive objectives (whether in game or irl). I’ve seen it a lot, here and around the web, as well irl. Even been victim to it myself I’ll admit.

Attitude speaks volumes, enjoy the week guys.
