Look at the letters taken from his name. It starts at the “n” and goes through to the 5.

The string together makes up “n”, “a”, “.” and “5” …. alltogether, “kitten” is censored. I thought it was censoring “nads” … but I can say that. If I say the last part of that sentence with the censored word in it with the quotes surrounding multiple strings, you get “kittens censored”. It took the 4 characters, plus the space, plus the “i” in “is” away. That kinda sounds like a certain socialist worker’s group that rose to power in Germany in the 40s. You know…the kittens! I had to lol. Sound it out with the “5” as a “z”.

So yeah, maybe it thinks you have THAT word in your name.

No, the 1st time it was an FA mes who chased me from Bluelake to Greenbriar, where she got me. I usually try to run from mes cause all that confusion and those clones are hard for me to take. My eng build is more for zerg support anyway.

After 3 months in T1, i can assure you that unless you are an uber-competitive player with a love fr drama, flaming and “no fun while we are in wvw” attitude, it sucks. Sure, there were some moments, but in the end it was just not worth it. Most of the guilds burn crazy hours there. An 8 hour run is common among many commanders. The last-to-last week when BG came first, my ex-guild commander was in WvW for 20 hours up straight where we made the push on the last day. He is a crazy guy.

I think everyone just needs to remember that a handful of players don’t necessarily represent the entirety of WvW players on their server, and especially not a handful of forumers.

To play for ppt you need coverage, simple as that. That’s why I got out of that game and play just for the battles. Should come fight us on even numbers.

To play for ppt you need coverage, simple as that. That’s why I got out of that game and play just for the battles. Should come fight us on even numbers.

You also imply that TC has had coverage which, in the past, has been ludicrous.We are slowly getting some coverage and it’s welcomed, won’t ever apologize for it.

Actually, I don’t think lacking is the word they would use. I don’t want to put words in their mouths, I know they said there was some very good and friendly people there.

We have been very green very long now … and have very much fun every week. Just wanted to say I enjoy WvW with all of you, but I see many people who are drawing nearer and dearer to needing our treasured vistas – specifically in EB.

To WM, CO, RISE, RE, TL, Meow, SoS, and others who have leaders … at some point I think we could take a break and let the hordes fight amongst the treasure some time say when we are all having coupledrinks cough thursday midnight cough suggestion?

I would normally take the RISE route, and fortify it up … but both servers have made incredible efforts for there guys on multiple weeks now, and likely posting because it’s last resort to having to fork out 40G+ on a chancy transfer to and fro. I’m not oppose to idea laying off if lead is up enough. But always will be choice of GL’s / and Commanders at that period in time.

~ We can’t do anything for randoms players on map who not listen, but can make a doorway of opportunity one time thing ~ so long as that’s understood. You power leaders are the ones who can somehow let it happen. Both servers got plenty guys need our keep. And KN been fighting always to keep primarily cause of WP.

I can’t speak for everyone but I’m okay with a temporary truce tonight at 12pm EST. The match last week was so close we had to play instead of karaoke. It’s still very close but I’m a little burnt out and could use a night off. TC has been giving me fits these last few days >.<

Assuming my guild and GM are cool with it, I am open to coordinating a ceasefire in EB tonight for vista/POI completion. I’ll ask around when I log in, which is usually between 10:30 and 11ish EST. This week I’ve typically had solo command of EB during weeknights so people will hopefully listen to me if we end up doing this.

HOWEVER, with the scores being as they are I can’t guarantee that such an idea would gain traction. But I, for one, could use a bit of a breather. If you’re going to be commanding on either other server tonight at midnight, feel free to msg me after 11pm and I’ll let you know what we decide. IF we do this, I will want TC and KN to have relatively even PPT for the duration of the ceasefire (which probably shouldn’t exceed 60ish minutes); you guys are gaining ground fast and I don’t want to lose the match just because we decided to all bro up in EB for a few hours. Nobody get to to T2 without being aware and playing towards ppt somewhere along the way. If you had fun while you were doing it, so much the better for ya’ll. But you can’t separate them and still remain honest with yourself.

Would it make more sense to start the cease fire maybe 90 minutes before reset tomorrow night? That way the PPT is mostly irrelevant, and the results are all-but locked in. Maybe just allow teams to keep ownership of their assets, but bash down all the doors to allow access by all teams.

I would love to get Velk, Mends, and LL vistas/poi. It’s a great idea in theory, but I think it’s going to be a hard sell with commanders overall. I’ll be crossing my fingers.

Being on BG when kaineng made it to tier 2, they are completely different server. more laid back and playing the game for fun. Not being worried about having to cover extra time slots, or what the ppt is a particular tick. I believe Kaineng could make it to tier 1 if they wanted to, but instead are sitting pretty and having a blast just playing.

A truce will probably end up like the Dolyak parade. Mostly because no one has complete control or even agreement from everyone on thier server.

Thanks Sarabi, looking back I think people have been asking 3 weeks straight now.

Maybe tonight at midnight we can just port the EB map over to a dead map for a 30 min break (should give TC and FA enough time to romp into there, but communal about it, and pay it forward to eachother). That way there’s a shot at minimal resistance to walk in and out.

Still very chancy, I know likely going to have other guilds still around, so would hope it’s consensual and at least on the radar for the big guns (and they are okay with it), and yes … a one time deal. Don’t want to have every week another guy asking, and not looking to set precedent without sound understanding from other servers – one time means one time

We’ll see, when I get on later after work, I will ping Ether and other commanders… and ask around to any big guns on. Yep I’m talking about you commanders and guilds I have fun with, and respect.

Guilds need that time to prepare for reset. The hour or two before reset is just as important in some ways as the hour or two that follows.

And yes, retained ownership should be required so as not to mess with PPT. For example, if someone needs to come into our keep, they send 10 at a time from one team at a time and attack only the gates to get in. If a treb comes up, no deal. If we lose a tower, no deal. The Kaineng zerg would sit in the lord’s room, not attacking. Anyone who attacks can be wiped by FA/TC. Breaches at all desired vistas/POIs should occur within fifteen minutes of ceasefire start, so the rest of the time can be used to repair the gates and retake camps. Commanders and guild leaders from each server must party up with each other to keep tabs on the others and as a point of contact. Ceasefire duration would be from 12am-1am, give or take ten minutes or so.

Those would be my terms, I think.

They are opposite of selfish. Depending on your position. Kaineng has nothing to gain from it whatsoever. And everything to lose, but will still check if something is okay – hell even later than 9pm pst (cause EB likely be full)

I don’t have the pull Sarabi has though, but can sure as hell ask if its cool at a late night or hour or two before reset. Issue with noon and pre-reset … is most of these guys I assume work or school at that time. Late night is not such a big IRL challenge.

Nick, remove the bug or exploit crap from your comment. Last thing I want to hear is you got a 3day, and kain, TC and FA were actually was able to pull this off.

It’s done by ramming the doors down, both outer and inner on keep and running up to the vista without engaging the Guild claimer (the latter will never happen, so I would suggest give ample time for buff to wear off, and other server to come in). No kitten in around, its business. If you miss it you miss out, still would be incredibly challenging to pull off.

I meant it as a compliment to KN.

They play a very strong PPT game overall with well thought out strategies for how they approach both the whole week and the current score.

Yes many of them are having fun in T2, but anybody who studies the overall PPT/Meta can see the effort KN puts into it.

You can deny it all you want, but KN plays for points just as much as TC does and it shows in their overall performance.

If kaineng actually played for points they would be in tier1. they play just enough of it to stay on top in tier2.

edit: When kaineng plays for points and you can see it when they played against BG, they would slaughter TC. To say they play just as much as TC is inaccurate. Go back to those scores and you can see what kaineng is/was capable of.
