1 hour left before reset. does anyone know if any server has gotten their matchup thread locked before the match has even begun?

Okay, seriously. The moderators what some constructive conversations in these threads. But we can’t play nice soo.. lets just not have a thread this week, or any in the foreseeable future. Everyone gets it. We all hate each other. Lets take that hate to the field, not behind walls of text.

Another week went by and another week of Ehmry dropping in ratings. You must be really trying to go up a tier.

So how many weeks does this make for the 3some?

I love how Evilzara’s only argument is “Ebay is so desperate for T4”.

Of course people want to win but we aren’t tryhards for T4. We don’t recruit, we don’t just sit behind walls never to come out and fight, and we sure don’t push every day like it’s reset because we really don’t care about points.

If we wanted to be back in T4 we wouldn’t have taken a break like that first week with BP and DR where we lost. Most people were just burnt out of WvW and we didn’t organize or care. We’ve always had a problem with motivation here on Ebay. Heck, we used to be known for smashing reset and then falling off the rest of the week because we know WvW is all about coverage and our coverage is really bad.

This matchup is good for us because BP and AR come out consistently during the week.

You guys might not be the greatest at open field which we love here on Ebay but each week has been getting better and better. Breakouts and Keep pushes has kept us on our toes in our home BL. You can always find roamers, another thing we love here on Ebay, especially from AR with their spvp population but I’ve been seeing a lot more people from BP lately that can put up a fight.

BURN is probably the biggest guild on BP. That being said, they have a lot of different focuses – so only a portion of their players do WvW on a regular basis. Nonetheless, a valued group!

Umm what is more likely to happen unless Ebay gets some influx of players is that BP or AR will drop as Darkhaven is not very far behind.

Think long term not short. The Tiers are about consistency at this point. When the matchup is fresh its all love and fun. As you sit and play the same matchup again ppl tend to lose some interest thats just the nature of the beast. So pretty much whoever is 3rd in this tier has to either stay on top of their game to not drop a tier or they lose interest and Darkhaven moves up which could happen anyway since they received transfers.

Either way someone will chime in from whatever server falls and take credit as to being the person who mastermind the pushes and key engagements keeping their server in T5.

Or

Someone chimes in saying we have grown tired of this matchup (stating the obvious that goes on in all matchups eventually) we(speaking for the server again) don’t want to really play this matchup anymore because (insert X).

The usual answers for X are:

We don’t care for Zerging,

We dont care about the score just the fights

kick them in the nutz and punch them in the teefs, ebay!

Do you realize that CoS is a micro guild and they form up with other random small guilds? You bragging about making them run away is comical.

Why are you talking about zergs on reset night? You kept crying about how WAR logs off because your guild is EST. Well, reset started at 6pm EST and you guys got Descensioned into the dumpster really quick.

Why are you talking about zergs period? Your guild put out a video of you zerging down 3-4 GF. A WHOLE VIDEO. You do realize that GF is 10x the guild with 1/2 your numbers? Lemme know how you guys do against GF with even numbers. Probably about the same as in a head to head with Sekz…your entire guild dead in about 6 seconds.

Also, why do you keep talking about Warhammer? That was a terrible game. We have DAoC veterans from elite guilds and our GL is a 1000APM professional Starcraft Korean.

You guys need to sack your guild leader. Worst leading ever. Well…the best imo….leads you straight into my bags as badges.

wow dude. 6pm. that’s just so convient for everyone. i didn’t even get off work until 8 and half my city is on lockdown. I don’t think we ever had more than 10 people on ever tongiht because of the time change. CoS flat our ran from an open battle with roughly even numbers. it was funny. almost as funny as a pK group waypointing away with 2-1 numbers on us. and yeah warhammer sucked, but i liked the consistent matchups and knowing my enemy – which is really all i said, so why your jimmies all rustled? it’s not like we’ve ever get to fight rekz straight up. you always hit us from the flank while we’re engaged with the 50 other ebay zerging around. not too hard to do.

After logging in and reading what’s become of this thread already tonight, I couldn’t agree with you more. Sadly it really seems to be a handful of really annoying people who ruin it for everyone else and the more reasonable people who just want to have fun are sick of these weekly threads being dominated by negativity.

Its one thing to have a little trakittenalking to hype up competition when its done in good fun, and its another thing to be a sore-loser or an arrogant winner. I guess this is why the threads keep getting locked , which looks likely to continue until some of the repeat offenders are muted.
