To be honest though, its not surprising it happened. It was obvious we were only baby sitting Ascension Bay and not doing anything else, but that Waypoint meant we could bring our Zergs in to fight. AR descided to go for it anyhow, even though Ebay was clearly on the map in strength. I watched AR fail repeatedly at getting their Hills keep back. If I was the Ebay commander and suddenly saw the force I had been killing handily dissapear and go try and open up another Keep, I would have followed along behind too, let them do the work, and then kill them again, this time inside a keep they were trying to take. Which is pretty much what would have happened, even had we not reinforced Ascension bay.

And then, having failed to retake Ascension Bay (it went to Ebay in the end) and their hills (still held by Ebay) AR goes to Borlis Borderlands and takes down our Garrison and Bay. Funny thing is though, in an hour or two we’ll have them back and AR will still not have their Hills or Bay back.

We failed in that push on Bay though we got to inner your reinforcements & Eb coming behind us screwed that attack. More when i noticed during this attack they retook Hills but oh well golem rushing was fun since i rarely do them. We’ll see how it goes during the night.

Funny BP players actually believe that AR had an EBay guild take bay. Then again, they celebrate a 2 v 1 fight. It’s common knowledge though 2 BP = 1 AR. So enjoy a win on an even fight kids.

We planed to rush bay and get into inner. We expected that you guys would call out for help, your defenders had the outmanned buff, we figured we could get past outer pretty easy and possibly inner, which we did. We expected lots and lots siege , which you had. When your forces showed up we pulled out to the hill.

We were planning to hold out on the hill and get a small havac squad to rush your Gari with golems. When we saw SEKz , we pulled away long enough to let them portal in folks. SEKz took a little longer than we wanted but in the end it worked out to our advantage. You guys portal bombed us on the hill and we fell back to lure you into SEKz. As expected SEKz rushed you guys, when we saw this we ALL went to your BL to meet our golem train.

We didn’t expect SEKZ to take Bay but figured they would see your massive zerg and stay and party. Which they did, and we figured you guys would tunnel vision and stay, which you did.

I dont’ know what all happened in our Bay between BP and EB but it lasted long enough for us to Golem rush Garri and Bay on BP and we were at hills gate when we heard SEKz was taking our Bay. We figured BP zerg would come in to save Hills but we were already commited and went ‘all in’. south door down , inner door down. No Zerg. We pushed into Lords, BP showed up and managed to rez the Lord. We won out in the end and maaged to take hills.

So in all, we flipped, Garri , Bay and Hills on BPBL and you lost our Bay to EB all within 30 mins. It was a great way to finish the night off and end a long day of WvW.

Well played, Anvil. Just to be clear, you didn’t see our zerg at hills because they went to bay, knowing you weren’t there anymore. Half the force flipped it just as hills’ inner gate was going down while the rest of us tried to slow you down. That was a fun fight for the Lord’s room. My bags were full. Unfortunately, EBay flipped Bay again while we were fighting.

Didn’t take us too long to get it all back, and there was much loot to be had in the process.

I wasn’t sure AR was going to show back up tonight after the beating they took today, so kudos to them for pulling together such a large group and flipping BPs keeps. Too bad for you it wasn’t something you could sustain and we flipped it all back then went right back into ARBL for more.

some fun fights in AR borderlands and in eternal while running a duo then a trio. Big fluffy mud pie double wombat props to those who we had some great fights with. I really need to start taking more SS so I know what guilds to thank afterwords.

One thing everyone needs to understand is that Kalkz IS NOT BP. Kalkz is just a forum troll and a commander. Nothing more, nothing less.

Kalkz occasionally commands at night time (his morning) and does capture keeps but he is not the only one doing it. We have many other Oceanic commanders who are amazing.

@ Sekz saying we’re not improving. I beg to differ. You see us not improving but we see us improving and that’s all that matters.

@Rashagal, BP did not get any transfers (when we were in tier 8/7) and I will deny it to this day.

I’d just like to say, had some amazing fights vs Ar, and EB yesterday. Under the command of such members of BP as Rivan, Dienekies, Wolfguard, Bakracha ( hope i spelled that correctly ) and Game Slayer who defiantly defended Bay as we took the rest of the map. Everyone wants to win and nobody likes to be on the receiving end this much is true. However i must commend AR especially that attempted to take bay from BP in a great fight that lasted well over 5-8 minutes with ALS continuously taking their own zerg around the BP guys to flank us, great maneuver by them and it was fairly successful had we not had the siege on the walls helping us our zerg would of all been goners.

Overall i’m having fun in WvW and to me that’s what counts. Good fights to all.

You will note I did give props for an enemy who did well. The props in my statement went to Ebay who saw an advantage and acted decisively on it. Sekz nailed us both to the wall at Ascencion bay. The only thing AR did was make it possible for them to do so. Had you taken bay from us, then you would have gotten props, but you did not.

Dude, everyone zergs(ALL Servers). It was bad before WXP, its worse now. And its true, some of the Server relies on numbers. But you know what? There are certain Guilds that don’t and can easily take on more of than their own numbers.

That’s cool tho, I always encourage groups to break away from the Zergs and try fighting without them. It encourages people to grow skill sets, tweak their builds and gear, and overall become better.

All 3 Servers with less Zergs is healthier over all for all of us.

I love how people complain about zergs in WvW. If you don’t like zergs, go play a game where you can’t zerg, like SPVP.

sPvP zergs are the worst.

Were you one of the Ehmries we hunted and killed? I do apologise if our tactics seems harsh and difficult for you to figure out, I do hope your guildmates can explain the tactical value of “hiding” in a camp when we are 4 to 6 men at max

I do recall slaughtering a lot of Ehmries outside the camp thou….and killing ehmries without the assistance of our veteran npcs….pics or it didn’t happen, but thank god we got some pics thou….

If we were able to secure a camp…destroy and take a tower….and upgrade a camp till its fully graded…I guess you need to impress me further with you reaction time on the field, I guess its our fault for taking the tactical superior route of making the camp our Alamo….no no you are right…next time…we should hunt you on the open field….and I do accept your challenge….

The next hunting session EDGE does in Ehmry will be open field….without the camp if you wish to whine and handicap the match…even after I openly challenged Ehmry by stating…we will hunt down Ehmries, we want to face your skill group and we want to gut you like a fish… I guess my message didn’t get across….

or maybe its something else. You guys are so predictable..

You cried that DR was a pushover for EB and that it allowed EB to steam roll the tier. In comes AR and evens out the match allowing for some good matches. EB has lost points every week AR has been in this match up.

With both AR and BP keeping EB in check it meant that BP might not always be in 2nd place, and after 2 straight weeks in 3rd place your egos got the best of you. Instead of fighting the good fight and taking it to the bigger server you guys revert back to your T7 form and pick on the smaller server in the tier.

Its pretty clear that you guys want a partner to fight Ebay but only as long as they agree to be your kitten and stay in 3rd place.

So now your going to focus on AR and teach us what? That we belong in 3rd place? No kitten Sherlock. Keep it up and you’ll be in this tier with DH in red. Hows that going to work out for you? You’ll be crying again that DH rolls over for ebay.

Granted, there are some of you who see beyond this and do your best to stay the course, but it seems that the kittenhats are running BP again.

And for the record, most of us are just tryin’ to have fun with this game. If you get all mad ‘cuz you have to pay a repair bill every so often, tough. We’re not some god’s gift to WvW, we’re a bunch of guys who want to have fun (you know that thing we play games for). If EDGE wants to challenge us to a GvG, then that’s all fine and dandy, but hiding in an upgraded camp and picking off people who come close then gloating about it on the forums isn’t something that’ll earn you respect. It’ll earn you the disdain of kitten near everyone that happens to glance over your posts.

I don’t even check the forums that much, but being told “oh, you should’ve heard of us, we’re on the forums” and then coming on to this drivel is just disappointing.

All that aside, I genuinely enjoyed that little spat we had earlier near Bluevale and Bluebriar. It was interesting trying to figure out a way to beat you guys with two guys and promptly be made to feel like an idiot by forgetting mortars exist.

Yeah I had fun skirmishing with the EDGE group today. Got me good a few times and kept me on my toes. But I have to agree with Alex, I figured It would have been a quicker fight with the lot of you. still real fun and challenging for me though.

I also say we should do a good ol’ GvG. Would be fun.

I’ve run into a few good [EDGE] players, but the other roamers I’ve seen running around have died to me in 1v2 and 1v3s… a ranger at that. A mesmer buddy and myself wiped four [EDGE] (which is still the biggest group of you guys that I have seen). So while I like to pride myself at being good at what I do, I’m never impressed with a group that lets themselves die in such helpless fashion.

So either I’ve been fighting the wrong [EDGE] roamers, or you guys have some people in your guild who aren’t carrying the weight of a guild that has “never been wiped on fair grounds.”

Ebay certainly kicking some kitten this is true. Though to be fair, Borlis Pass has stopped fighting Ebay and is focusing solely on Anvil Rock. They just can’t figure out its the duty of the weaker servers to ruin it for the stronger, but instead they just kept going into our keeps while we were trying to wreck Ebay borderlands. We got tired of constantly being back doored by AR while we tried to fight Ebay, so now AR is gonna be the red team in this tier. On the plus side though, this means Ebay may finally get their wish and move up a tier. Still a long time till friday though.

Lets be honest here. You got tired of coming in 3rd , so now your playing for 2nd.

This gotta be a joke, no you MUST be joking. what we’ve done in ONE DAY to get a 10k lead on you is to show you that we can also play for 2nd. like i said YESTERDAY me and some guilds are going to focus AR instead of Ebay and now you’re over 10k behind. and that was just ONE day. our crew managed to hold ebay hills for 18 hours, use your brain for a minute here mr. -K

You do realize that the only reason you made so much ground on AR is because some groups from EBay started “bowling” people off cliffs, the group grew, and we ended up taking most of AR map while you were working on the other side for no other good reason than “we felt like it.” AR didn’t drop 10k points because of your intensity, Kalkz. They dropped 10k points because they were at the mercy of both servers for the majority of the day and night.

BP should be able to sympathize a bit there. You know what it’s like. I’m just continuously amazed at some of the posters here who have some crazy ability to completely forget that fact for the five minutes it takes them to post on the forums.

Nobody wants to move down a tier, and you Backdooring us while we fought Ebay certainly put us on that path. That and all the chest thumping about how AR was better then BP and that you guys deserved to stay and we deserved to move down. Its put up or shut up time for AR now.

You cried that DR was a pushover for EB and that it allowed EB to steam roll the tier. In comes AR and evens out the match allowing for some good matches. EB has lost points every week AR has been in this match up.

With both AR and BP keeping EB in check it meant that BP might not always be in 2nd place, and after 2 straight weeks in 3rd place your egos got the best of you. Instead of fighting the good fight and taking it to the bigger server you guys revert back to your T7 form and pick on the smaller server in the tier.

Its pretty clear that you guys want a partner to fight Ebay but only as long as they agree to be your kitten and stay in 3rd place.

So now your going to focus on AR and teach us what? That we belong in 3rd place? No kitten Sherlock. Keep it up and you’ll be in this tier with DH in red. Hows that going to work out for you? You’ll be crying again that DH rolls over for ebay.

Granted, there are some of you who see beyond this and do your best to stay the course, but it seems that the kittenhats are running BP again.

C’mon man, you’re smarter than that. We’d all but given up 2nd place in the hopes that AR (or BP!) could make a push for 1st place. But despite our best efforts AR didn’t want to play ball and didn’t push on Ebay enough. We literally did ALL of the heavy lifting, holding Ebay in their BL for the entire day with utterly no help from AR. I NEVER see ANYONE from AR in Ebay, and I spent a lot of time in that zone, because I tend to go to the 1st place server’s BL. I’ve NEVER seen AR take and hold a keep there. For weeks I’ve never even seen an AR group hit Ebay BL on reset. Instead everyone is in our BL! Hell, read what WARlords said in this thread earlier: they are basically scared to hit Ebay because they get their butts kicked every time they go there.

Yeah, maybe it will be a lesson to AR… if you want to play BP vs. AR we will crush you. In a period of less than 8 hours we gained a 10k lead over you. If you want to play AR and BP vs Ebay and playing for first, then lets talk.

But really what it comes down to is we’ve been losing rating for weeks trying to cooperate to some degree, while your server has been essentially backstabbing BP in order to secure second place while boosting your rating. Basically, we need to get our rating up again, maybe have a little bit of a morale boost, and hopefully we can start playing WvW how it’s meant to be played in the coming weeks.

So to you, I reply in kind: Reap what you sow. You’re kinda in the shoes right now that we’ve been in for the last couple weeks.
