Alas, whatever happened at Hills later was not under my command. I actually de-tagged maybe 30-45 minutes before we even took it. I tend to ignore you guys unless I’m about to engage a larger force and need to collect my tail, which you’re very good at harassing. Mostly though I drink beer. Tonight, I was drinking beer. I’m usually hitting the Yuengling’s because it’s cheap, but sometimes I splurge for Newcastle (even though it’s even weaker—it’s so delicious) or one of the Great Lakes beers.

That’s about it. Sometimes its best opportunity to take five recharge, and re-energize. I’ll tell ya what, I got to run with chips, sano, ether and sarabi tonight… and for the first time … in about 5 weeks … I went to a JP after and got free siege, felt very appreciative of that. I had a great time in wvw. Missed the kinda zerg v zerg fights though, and went small squad roaming on an alt (been a while). But kitten it felt refreshing regardless of ppt at the time.

shudder bourbon.. I was in Trinidad over xmas once and ended up in the back room of a rural police station, having an xmas drink with the police (not something I think you should say no to when it’s offered) and the drink was a big tumbler of straight, warm bourbon of not the finest quality. Great folks, but that drink was a tough one to swallow.

We’ve heard this rumor so many times. Maybe one day it will be true, and we’d hate to lose them but Kaineng is not a prison. Jang was on the other day when I was on though, if that says anything.
On forum: “Oh I love Kaineng they’re such great opponents, class act!”
In game: “Kaineng is at 100 ppt so let’s go take their home garrison and ignore FA even though they’re winning”

Sad that AoN has go LOOKING for action near your zerg because your server is so void of any splitting up from your main 50-man zerg. Give us something to fight other than your massive blob of stacking-up zerglings running around taking undefended supply camps, sitting in towers and siege and we’ll gladly leave your reinforcements alone.
However, should you decide to blob all your people in one area, don’t expect AoN to not be in that area.

“Hey Kain, you guys posted some nice stuff on our recruiting thread a while back, we thought we’d return the favor.” Does someone need to order you to attack FA? Sort of figured that was part of the game.
So why can’t you guys move the people from TC to FA just once out of 4 days? Or even just protect your own BL?
I know we frown on negativity but the sole reason FA is winning is because KN refuses to fight them. I also think KN would be in second if they would bring this match back to a fair 1v1v1. This is one of the first times I’ve seen a legitimate 2v1 but that’s absolutely what’s gone down this week. The last time KN has more than a tower and 2 camps on FA BL was Friday reset. You guys aren’t ‘teaming’ with FA but you’re blatantly avoiding which is just as bad and as far as I’m concerned, ruining the integrity of the tier. KN isn’t dead or dying, they’re just playing stupid. KN pushes TC, TC pushes KN by retaliation. The end result is FA > TC > KN.

Being a TC WvWvW player all the time. I can say this is the first week that there has not been any 2v1 in EB. Unlike previous weeks. (don’t mistake an easy opportunity and points, for ganging up!!!)
Finally FA commanders have woke up, Brought some more guilds to their server (that had to put a dent in your pockets) and have been fielding a lot of people in their Zurg.
You are still opportunists and wont make a move till someone else does and attack their weak side. (not saying it’s a bad thing) I think they are finally understanding that ignoring kain isn’t gonna work.
Kain though, has been absent for some reason. Yes, they flip SM from time to time but their zurg has been missing. WM has not been fielding a full group which is hurting the whole server. Hence, the rumors of them jumping ship!!
TC Where are you? You are currently in second, you are outmanned most of the day and cant fend off the FA zurg lately (a zurg you have dominated in previous weeks). You could dominate Tier 2 if you could field a zurg 24/7 like the other Top PvP servers.

This is definitely the most balanced tier that I have been part of (I’ve been on TC since the launch). It is a lot of fun.
As for 2v1 matchups, I do not see that happening, at least on purpose. Since the three servers are so evenly matched, there is a desire to knock off the “top” server. Last week, TC won, so this week we will face more attacks. If FA holds on to win, next week, they will get hit the hardest. It is just playing smart.

From a FA perspective, there aren’t any new guilds that transferred to us over the last week. You might have noticed VK and ACE as new tags but they are guilds that separated from two larger FA guilds. PTX did return to FA but they, from what I have seen, typically have a 3-5 man team.
I think our two biggest internal benefits have been:
1 – a number of guilds that do not usually WvW have been checking it out. Guilds like NICE, they have been on the server from the get go, have made a nice (pun intended) presence in WvW this week.
2 – map organization. FA leaders have done a pretty good job with coordinating between guilds who should be on which maps. On top of that, communication on map chat has been stellar this week.
The week is still young and there is lots of time for both TC and KA to catch up but overall, it’s been a well put together week for FA so far…

Holy Pickle and his mesmer sidekick have a bit of a reputation going now. He, as a guardian, is notoriously difficult to bring down. And the mesmer pops around and then hits you where it hurts. I do believe the laugh was out of either amazement or sadly frustration. I do fear it was the latter. I think, these players were freshers to the wvw experience… Hopefully in time they’ll recognize a good fighter and instead of falling they’ll rise to the challenge! Ending with either a swift rez ( :p ), or a neat bow. ’
So it has come to my attention that you can exploit inside of Jerrifer’s with any leap skill. I would like to bring this to attention so that if possible it can be fixed I found it when I was bored jumping around on guardian. Just wanted to point this out so that we can all report it and get it resolved quickly
It would be interesting to see if I have gained a reputation on the other servers, but considering I’m an Engie, I doubt it, since Engineers don’t seem to be memorable to other people.

What flames? I’ve spent more time than I care to admit on internet forums and this thread seems to be one of the more civil ones. I took care to stress that I don’t think Kaineng players themselves are getting worse, so I don’t understand why someone should need to feel insulted that I’m saying our server is dying (which it is).

My statements are more a reaction than an actual prediction. I’m not armchair-speculating here, I’m saying what I’m saying because I spend several hours every day commanding and I understand how WvW matchups evolve and progress. TC simply has too many (for whoever was complaining about KN never being on FA BL, it’s because we simply do not have enough people) and FA is really stepping up their game. I think it’s pretty obvious that we can’t compete anymore. Perhaps you believe things will get better later, but optimism seldom comes easily to me.

Seriously, they probably could have used it as engine degreaser. But that didn’t stop me from drinking way too much of the stuff. I had some… digestive difficulties while I was drinking it. They don’t call it “rot-gut” for nothing!

One guild transferred back to FA last week after being away for months which was PTX.. As stated,they field about 5 people each night. We didn’t pay for it so our pockets are still full of gold.
VK wasn’t a transfer.
The increase in numbers for FA is due too some of our hardcore WvW players coming back as a result of the culling patch.

Scotch is alright, but it’s usually too good/pricey to slam down like I like to do with borubon and whiskey. You’ve got to savor scotch; it’s the only brown liquor I’ll drink on the rocks. I’m partial to Johnny Walker Black and Chivas Regal.
It’s been a great fight this week. TC you guys always put up a good fight. I did see WM last night when they tried to take SMC and almost succeeded. If it wasn’t for the 15 superior ballistas and 10 superior arrow carts we probably wouldn’t of held them off. They’re definitely still there. Probably just burnt out from working over time the last few weeks and not playing the long hours. As for the increased FA presence? I think we have a larger number of pve players participating in wvw this week than usual. Maybe they got tired of fractals and new mario game. May my loot bag drop a precursor to one of you and you end up forever tormented in trying to get the map completion because that requires so much pve and you just can’t seem to find time to a break from the fun
I like the warm and fuzzy feelings, but not the boozy whee fuzzy feelings. Ok, it’s the not so warm and too much fuzzy don’t wanna be feeling after the good warm fuzzy was felt feelings that I don’t wanna feel.

I always seem to get into scotch when I shouldn’t be getting into scotch, at the end of a long night of drinking other stuff, seems like such a waste of good scotch in retrospect

haha, I have no idea. I was surprised how well that worked. It didn’t feel like there was any harm done, and I spoke to Nightlight et al after to clear it up [at first i thought people were playing along, until i realized i’d actually truly tricked a few]

Indeed they have come on strong but I wouldn’t chalk the score up to burning out just yet.
As an example, on Sunday TSL, DIS , and the TC Dogs of War (militia, I mean that in a good way) got together on FABL.Spent the day in raging battles, we took Bay and upgraded it to waypoint status all the while FA hordes breached and attacked the outer and inner walls multiple times. TC actually won the day there and moved on to take garrison.Right after that it was guild bounties for one guild and Game of Thrones for the other.
The point is we still enjoy everything this game has to offer and just love our Game of Thrones and at times it will surpass the need to be out in WvWvW (but not that often).
It’s all good.
LAst episode was meh relatively in comparison to the opener. What happen to jamie, give me more on the new guard for the dragon queen… and tyrian … for the love of god man, get back to work, enough dancing with the lovely… your best when your strategizing.
