It is when DR storm our borderlands and flip most of our stuff…Its obviously your strongest time. It may not be our weakest per-say, but its when you guys can get some score on the board against us. Our weakest is generally after the oceanics log off, but you guys dont have that many on then so its not that obvious.

Did you not notice i was correcting my self? I was replying to the screenshot pointing out our numbers! I didnt realise we were fielding those kind of numbers until that screenshot, i was only looking at the MOS site and the live map and judging from that.

So I’m sure someone else has probably already pointed this out, but I’d like to have a rant myself.

I am sick and tired of seeing Belittled. Whoever you are, kitten off. Spying in servers THIS LOW? Seriously, get a kittening life. I KNOW it’s Devona’s Rest because he’s only ever been online when we’ve been up against you. I’d like to say that until your server takes action against this, you’re all no better than exploiters, hell, you’re probably even worse.

If it’s you or your guild, this is disgusting. I seriously recommend you take a long hard look at yourself. Do you guys really need this kind of stuff to compete? Is your server THAT bad? Maybe that’s the reason you guys dropped a tier while we held our own for weeks, and even got second place many times. Maybe it’s why we’re absolutely dominating you guys when there is no power-house server for you to leach off.

Next you’re going to start buying rams and wasting siege in all our keeps. I can see it coming. How is this fair gameplay? I hope that account gets perma-banned and the person wastes $60.

I hate to be the guy to point people out and call names, but this is not in the spirit of world verse world. On another note, if anyone has any claims about IoJ spying, please contact me. I’d hate to get on here and rant, only to find out someone is doing the same. I’m not in a huge WvW guild but I believe I have a decent-sized influence on our server and am reasonably well respected by many. I WILL follow it up and do my best to find out the truth of the matter.

Also, this is completely off-topic from my post, but I’d like to commend the FC guy (and his guild) who jumped on IoJ’s TS on reset night and said hi and said how much he enjoyed reset and such. We cannot be “the best in WvW” unless we are in the top tier or position so this also applies to us, IoJ.

I’m just blown away that Belittled talks now. It only took half a year. Maybe you should shut off your secondary account, focus on your primary account…plus…it frees up bandwidth. Might help you contribute more to helping DR.

I remember it taking upwards of 3 HOURS to flip bay way back when, and i couldnt care less how long it took all i know is that we were having a blast!!!

Well, they can wait a long time now. It was a nice little competition, right untill they had the feeling they might not be able to keep us away. So they started reporting people for something that is simply gamemechanics – rezzing someone through a small irongate is very well possible in the game (the distance to the corpse is even less than a foot) and far from being an exploit.
But well, if that’s how you want to play it – you can play it alone, have fun camping there for more people to report. Reporting people just because they manage something you don’t want – that’s simply low (wouldn’t have thought that some at DR use such low tactics).

Dude, your sleep time is my primetime and my sleeptime is your primetime. Does this makes sense to you? We all need to sleep. We take advantage when the enemy sleeps. It’s that simple.

Should I stop playing when you sleep?

You should face DH. At least against us you can retake everything on your primetime. When we were against DH we can’t even retake everything we lost on both NA and Oceanic primetimes. Did we complain about it? No, DH made us better. We learned tactics and now we are against you guys and we use those tactics. We may have better numbers than you but we cannot do anything about it. We can’t tell people to “Hey, get out we are too many, they might lose! Our enemy might cry foul that we are too many!”

I wouldn’t know, it’s not like DR fought Darkhaven a few months ago, and it’s not like IoJ wasn’t there when we met Darkhaven… oh wait….

Anyway, Devona’s Rest doesn’t have night shift, so night time is a bit lax. Considering the state of things, I think it’s actually better if DR keeps going down the tier, puts a bit of rest after an onslaught of Night-teamed servers.

FC you have a good number of players. You just need coordination and I think you would be a very good match for us.

DR you got good numbers and good coordination. If you whine less I would love to duke it out with you guys on the battle fields. I had good fights with [DDLG] even when the days with DH in our tier. Fun times in EB JP if you can remember those days.

FC has good numbers????? LOL!!! we have great coordination actually. We usually have 1 commander leading the zerg of 20-30 pugs we are bouncing all over the place defending, assaulting, and what not. So those numbers you’re seeing are the same people that you fought with on the other side of the map. keep in mind that we are tier 8 due to our lack of population.

Well, I’ve been taking a good break from GW2 to enjoy the summer and focus on more important spare time alternatives. However, returning today for my first engagements with IoJ and Devona’s Rest since this new matchup was arranged, I found myself pleasantly surprised! I didn’t have any troubles like those GoM/HoD 15-man gank squads chasing me half way across the map at all.

All in all it was a very pleasant morning solo run in Devona’s Rest Borderlands and I am very pleased with the IoJ and DR roamer groups I fought. I didn’t see any /dance or /sit /laugh being spammed at all in the few occasions I died (both with IoJ and DR). The atmosphere felt very respectable and thanks to low populations in that borderland I was able to move about pretty freely and find some pretty great opportunities, both for opportunist attacks on groups weakened by camp capping and the occasional duel.

I’m usually looking to find a 1 vs 1 here and there, though I am also known to happily jump into groups of 2-4 also. If anyone spots me and wants a duel, just /point or /beckon me and lead the way to some remote area and I’ll happily fight you as long as I’m not brain dead/in tunnel vision at the moment.

Edit: Also to pitch in on those numbers debates, I can see where they are coming from. There’s been a lot of times where we can field 50+ in a single map, typically doing highly coordinated zergs on Lukian. Unfortunately we rarely have enough competent commanders in agreement with one another and ESPECIALLY* willing pug players to split off into 2-3 groups moving fluidly around the map and only forming a single zerg when necessary. So yeah, I think we definitely have room for improvement in that. I agree that we could probably do a lot more with the numbers we do have, but it will come in time, when the feelings of comfort allotted in the 50-man zerg balls eventually wear off.

That said I do agree with the other Ferg poster in that we are still highly coordinated (when we’re seriously going with a decent core of non-puggers) in our zergs, and even the former tier 7 servers we’ve come across have often commented on the sheer brutal efficiency our tier 8 zerg balls can bring to the field with good use of flanking/tactical retreats and well timed pushes. That’s all thanks to knowledge and lessons we learned from observing [VK], [Agg] and the other high tier guilds that transferred to tier 8 for short periods. Kudos to them for helping to bring the tactics up in our humble little server.

That was actually pretty funny.
Especially you wiping all the 10 and 15 man zergs with 40.
I loved also all the parts where DR transferred to FC just to zerg you in this video.

10? You might want to talk to DDLG about that. They had equal numbers. No one was outmanned. And it was nonstop. For hours. We actually stopped earning Wxp for a good while. StoneVale will live again. Bloodiest supply camp in the game.

Fair enough. I wasn’t there so I can’t really say. But in the video half of the time you guys are wiping 1/2 numbers of fergs and 1/2 numbers of dr. I am not saying that there weren’t as many around the corner, so I stay corrected. Its a nice farm spot and we do it on IOJ pretty often for fun. Ferg ruined our party in IOJ camp yesterday.
But yeah that video is a bit grainy and doesn’t really show much apart of you guys zerging and turtling a camp vs smaller numbers that actually come out of the keep to fight. It is a nice video to see for DR though. As it shows why zerging is BAD! Why trying to zerg a position protected by siege, without your own support is bad. It does show that locking down a 40+ man zerg in a camp that usually gets flipped for every tick anyway is good. I just think that if you guys went into open and took objectives, you could do much more. Maybe even split that zerg into 2 or 3?
It is easier to follow you when I scout, when you are just running one zerg, but gets a bit boring.
