I think I said this before, but unless at least 2 out of FA/Mag/Kain have become massively stronger (we’re talking significantly stronger than TC, at least – so the old FA-ers might have a frame of comparison) T2 is not going to be a good place to be. BG and SoR are the real deal – and with T1 only having 3 slots one of them will be in T2 every week.

I doubt will will beat FA, since transfers now outnumber vets on Mag, and they are green as kitten. Also, our oceanic is still weak.

FA pretty much just gained all of IoJ oceanic w3 presence, they were already strong NA and a solid Euro. With lots of experience versing tier 1 and 2 severs under many of the players exp belts I would expect maGs would need to be a new beast to beat them.

kitten all of IoJ’s oceanic except for ND. ND was skilled and capable but there was a big language barrier there. It’s impossible to tell with FA/Mag now because both are not the same servers they were.

Eh …, one of the T4 servers is going to say to you: You shall not pass!

Once you start getting some actual resistance on the 25th your fair-weather players will shed quickly after the opener before free transfers close in the 28th.

All it takes is for the two other servers to spank you during the opener and the “winner” types will quickly decide to transfer to a T1-3 server.

Better question, how long until they’re shot back down to T3 because T2 beats them down too much?

I think Mag’s situation is a good example of a Glicko rating flaw. The fact that we are almost going from t4-t2 is insane. To completely bypass a tier doesn’t seem right, especially when the tier being skipped is likely where we belong.

At least FA’s consumption of our rating will mean they get a couple weeks in t2.

I can’t tell because Maguuma’s population has increased significantly as well, but I hope for Maguuma to advance to T2 since I don’t like to play on T2 or T1 servers.
