First off a server saying Full does not mean it is currently full, it is at its CURRENT CAP AND NOT LITERALLY FULL.
Anet themselves said this few days ago, how stupid are you french lot.

All this thread is doing(along with endless trolling and rage) is showing VS in a very bad light, A warrented one imo as they are a bad server and do nothing for WvW or the game, Im sure they dont care as they are ‘winning’.

But its just shows them out as cheap lame players, every evening from about 5pm-12pm(GMTish time for you canadians) FS and even Deso win most fights and take back most of the points lost the night/morning before. Then at about 1am-8am VS take them back when there is NO Qs on deso or FS, and prob have a dozen players on each borderlands.

Its sad but its true, and everyone in here knows it. Ive no idea what ANet can do, all I can say as a deso player i cant wait till we come 3rd on friday and get 2 diff servers to play with. I can only imagine it will be alot more fun and fair.

I find Yoke’s trolling way better than yours Casta sorry i’m switching to Yoke and will try to feed him as much as i can.

Oh great, so you steamroll Deso and VZ while their players are at work… Russian primetime starts 2-3hours earlier than french/euro primetime, so yes, they are ahead before primetime, pure logic here. And even when euro primetime starts, russians still have the advantage of having been queued for hours thus having larger guild groups inside. Check screens from a page or two ago, you’ll see some serious crushing from VZ starting as early as 21PM… Or post the evolution for tonight, and not from just a moment of the day where FS is finally pulling ahead…

See the nightcapping argument works both ways, if you are complaining because you lose outside of primetime, VS/Deso can do the same… That’s what your screen is about.

Nope, actually I’m from the night shift and lately we let deso take all the points they want. I mean, it’s not like we have more than 100k in advance.

Edit: I don’t see any FS player in Deso borderlands map during the night, except at the puzzle jump.

Edit2: yeah, I do the puzzle jumps during the night shift. Because we don’t bother fighting Deso for a few points, usually when I start playing around 2am everything is already green.

Why would VS make any effort? They’ll just get everything back with the night crew and some huge score lead on top of it. Heck, at this point they could all desert 24/24 the WvWvW maps and it would probably be impossible to close the gap :o

Such no suspense games at the end of the “season” is the reason the game needs some mechanics to allow the underdogs to return a situation no matter how dire the situation is.

But wait.
EVERYTHING.
It does take some time to cap stuff. Moreover there are still some fights going on, even at 3am.
What does that mean? Maybe, just MAYBE, the most important portions of the map were capped way before 3am. You don’t cap supply if you still have keeps to take.

Maybe the map is green at 3am BECAUSE the fight VS versus FS was terminated a few hours before.

Like around 1am. Letting 2 hours for the winning team to cap all the supply camps, sentinels and to start upgrading everything.

You guys act like it takes 30 minutes to cap everything. When I say the map is full green around 2am, the map is FULL GREEN around 2am. The fights and the control of the map was won way before.
This, or else, we fight equally until midnight and then, suddenly, all the FS and Deso players go to sleep at the same instant letting VS a full map for some PvE action.

We have the same problem here, actually. You have yet to see Vizunah at its finest, since most of our “serious WvW guild” members are stuck in endless queues during prime time.

Hopefully, WvW should be less crowded starting from the 25th. That’s good news for both sides.

Oh yeah nightcapping is beginning, oh wait it’s just 11pm.

That’s because you took the centre keep from desolation, FS is still holding it’s terretories. But well, northern Europe needs its jobs to keep the Euro alive so we’ll probably lose it all overnight…

It’s not even a night-capping issue, it’s just that when I come back from work, around 6 there is no way I get into the battleground, it’s 100% full.

Usually I get inside the Desolation map around 9pm which is 3am in France. At this hour, there is nothing else to do in RvR.
Most of the time I just do the puzzle jump and leave for some dungeon, map exploration or maybe I try to go into the eternal battleground (which is full, any time, for any of the three servers).
I just can’t wait until tomorrow to finally have some RvR action with my guild.

What I’m saying is that it’s bad for a Canadian to play in the EU server, I’m only doing it because I’m part of a french guild and community, other than that it means no RvR, less ways to create a party for dungeons, less players for dynamic events and most of all, being the subject to all sort of accusations.

Didn’t you just state that you’ve got 3 hour queues queuing at 12-3am europe time? If that isn’t indicative of maybe having a few too many people on at this time period (hint – time zones) then I don’t know what is.

I can’t speak for far shiverpeaks, but on Desolation we don’t have queues from anywhere near that time. And we pretty much have outmanned from 12am onwards.

The proof is already here for you dude its quite irritating for players like me when you choose to be naive.

The servers are open for anyone i belive there is a reason for that.

But now imagine a couple of people go to our house, claim it, humiliate you everyday in the forums, and take everything from there all while you are sleeping, but since they are from other contries, its racism to report their crime, thefor you must understand and keep shut while being humiliated by other contries in your own home.

Not to mention its really unfair that a server, dedicated to a language, is fighting a server with many contries as you said, all desorganized, even when some refuse to talk to others (i never saw a russian speaking in chat and i saw a lot of them), how we are suposed to fight, a massive canadian community while we are like 10 guys all from diferent contries that never saw each other at night?
Even if it was at same time, and we got the same numbers, they would probably be all on TS, same language, etc, just advantages, we barely have any open wvw guild in FS, most just quit and they keep quitting.

With all this problems the canadian people still make fun of us, no matter how unfair this battle is, i wonder if people from actual france do actually play.

If they didnt came to the forums stepping down so much and using their cheap tactics, at least this could be somewhat fun and still playable.

What i prenteded to say earlier by making FR american servers is that they should just make canada fight america servers, they are all big contries, and same times, it would be more fair to all.

Hey’all, I’m a French Canadian and I play on US servers. I’ve been playing GW1 since it almost got out, and I’ve known the French-speaking community for a while. I can confirm that most of the French Canadians are on US servers because we get less lag and that we are all “comfortable” with english. But I can also confirm that A LOT of Quebecois went to EU servers (Vizunah in this case) and that they indeed, play during EU night.

I know a lot of our French cousins are denying it because they are proud and everything. But come on, face the truth. Of course some people playing the night are French, but most of them are Quebecois, and you can’t deny it. There’s nothing to be ashamed of. A lot of US servers are doing great because of the Aussies that play during the night. Why wouldn’t it be acceptable in EU ?

I agree. I didn’t saw any thread or post about that hack (which happened multiple times btw …) by a whining VS. If that would have been a VS player, like 10 threads would have opened to whine about it.
And also, we are not whining about the NuG bug exploit … even if we were heavily surprised to see a bus of 40-50 NuG in the same map, at the same time (the guilds of our alliance can only have like 10 or 20 of our mate simultaneously). But it gave a challenge (maybe a little bit frustrating but whatever) and we dind’t came here to open tons of threads crying about that.

That beeing said, I finished my “nightshift”, so I can go to bed … in France

That is just wrong i could transfere to the winning server but i dont wana be a exploiter winner world vs empty gates and loser of world vs world, so i stay in FS.
