Well, that would be because you were the fotm for a longer period of time, allowing the angst against you more time to build. If the mesmers continue like this, their time will come as well. The nature of the MMO beast.

- 6AM-12PM EST DB makes the maps blue
- 1PM-7PM EST Mag takes back there stuff and pushes both servers and for a while the battle is even.
- 8-11 PM EST FA wakes up and starts taking the majority of the map while Mag goes to bed and DB starts to trail off.

It’s like clockwork now. Something needs to change.

FA relies on superior numbers way too much. From defense, offense, down to individual builds. It’s no skin off our back, but FA keeps jabbering about t2 this, t2 that. You guys still have a lot of room for improvement.

this is not true, before we had the transfers, we stayed in this tier vs TC and YB and CD and eventhough we lost we worked really hard. We had only enough numbers to cover 1.5 maps. I do’t understand why everyone has to always whine about numbers, u guys have way more numbers than we had when we moved to tier 3!PRO was pretty much the only guild that was staying up at night and we barely slept as whenever we left everything got lost.
We were beong trolled soo much that TC even made a guild called [FA} good luck in tier 4. Cd had superior numbers aswell.
I see peole cry if we build 1 omega to take a keep, now imagine 3 omegas and 2 alphas vs wooden tower

if u guys were in our shoes when we faced CD and TC at the same time, I think u all would have ragequit the game. we wer in tier 3 for weeks and weeks and weeks and didnt have any nightcapping 600 ppt like NNK. a lot of people were tired of being outmaned. before the transfers we were outmanned in eb EVERYtime i logged in there.

I really doubt the quote is talking about how FA was before transfers, they are talking about how it is now, which is a watered down version of what it was.

I do agree complaining about numbers is silly. The situation for T3 was pretty clear before free transfers ended. Everyone had the option of where they wanted to play and they all made that decision for themselves. If you didn’t want to be on a sever that was 2nd/3rd place for the foreseeable future, you should have transferred when you had the chance. If you really wanted to be in T4, you should have went to a server that would be in T4.

Actually we grasp it pretty well. We have whole guilds that just want to farm and not worry about the score(BT, etc).

We can’t farm you when you are not on. Nor is it any fun to take a tower/keep when you aren’t on to defend.

And forget about you guys mounting any offensive in your own BL to take things back. :P

DB I think maybe you shouldn’t trade SM for the JP.

Last night maguuma tried to portal bomb us x3 from Mendon’s when the wall was about to go down. It was terrible.

1) The portal bomb went down IN FRONT of all our guys, not on our siege. Hence I was able to put a circle of warding right in front of the first portal bomb and knock every single of of you on your butts. You systemically got destroyed by aoe.

2) You used all of your guys for the portal bomb, so when we got into Mendon’s there was no one but NPCs there, and two guys who stayed back.

I don’t get why you didn’t just build ballistas and hold the choke and then flank us from behind, but you know who really cares lol. It’s a lot of bags of loot for me anyhow.

Maguuma is the only tier 3 server to have never openly recruited. That should say something about our culture versus other servers’ cultures.

TC will fall to T3 soon. FA will move to T2 and get wrecked. Rinse and repeat. That’s what the score does for you.

Maybe sometime in the future Anet will put in some sort of structured PVP system, other than WVW, where people can “prove” their skills without having to worry about elements like server population, zerg size or capturing and holding structures they’re not interested in!

One can only hope I guess.

Sort of, I think we’re actually all 25 – 35 year olds, have jobs to get to by 8am the next morning, spouses to tend to, kids to feed, etc.

10v10 or 20v20 deathmatch… sounds good to me, that way OG can take their rants on the WvW threads to different forums and we can actually talk about WvW here instead of who has the better guild for a fight that can never happen in the non-sterile environment that is WvW

Scores accumulate 24/7 and, if you hadn’t notice, DB tends to lead the ppt pretty much from the early morning until the very moment that NA primetime begins at like 5pm.

I personally consider a good match to be one where every server has their turn in the lead for ppt at various points during the day. I don’t know about you.

EDIT: Let me also clarify, as there may be confusion based on how I’ve worded things. I don’t care about accumulated points, they make little difference on the current battles going on. The PPT, however, does indicate the way the current situation is at a given time of day.

During those hours match ups aren’t even competitive unless you are on a higher tier. The fun on this server is during the NA primetime. I am not even sure how amassing a huge zerg to face no one is even fun for the people on DB. It’s a shame there’s no Asian/Oceanic servers for those players to get real competition.

You must not have been on our borderlands during NA prime time last night…had enough people to attack two garrison gates at once and we had a lot less people defending at each gate, and you still couldn’t take it? Ouch! Then you guys spammed laughs at us when trying to camp our spawn exit…portal bombed the entrance and got pooped on again! Then you proceeded to lost the rest of what you had because I guess your “raid time” ended. You had plenty of chances to farm us during that, but I guess you felt like being nice…so thanks, GODS! You are truly worthy of the name.

On Millenium we’re only currently projected to be 1 pt above YB, so it’s possible we move down this week, if not then definitely next. Frankly I’m kinda looking forward to it, but only for purely selfish reasons, I need to finish mapping WvW to get my gift of exploration

It is true regarding match ups getting somewhat stale… especially since transfers are going to be fewer now. We’ll all lock into our positions, Mag will spend the rest of time bouncing between T3 and T4, FA will do the same T2 and T3, poor DB will forever be ranked in 8th place until the end of time… our servers might as well get used to each other…

If you are getting 500-600 ppt, there’s little-to-no resistance.

Ya, it’s a pretty lame tier. My only hope for the future of wvw here is that eventually FA and DB get tired of being zerg servers and start actually doing roaming pvp and maybe eventually learn how to compete.

Learn how to compete??? Maybe I forgot the score but I thought Mag was in 3rd. Sounds like you guys should learn to work together more, then maybe you could “learn how to compete.”

Or we could just be like Farmed Aspenwood. Bloat our numbers. Stand around when we are about to get portal bombed. Rinse and repeat x 10. Finally bug BT or some others to come halp us.

You must not have been on our borderlands during NA prime time last night…had enough people to attack two garrison gates at once and we had a lot less people defending at each gate, and you still couldn’t take it? Ouch! Then you guys spammed laughs at us when trying to camp our spawn exit…portal bombed the entrance and got pooped on again! Then you proceeded to lost the rest of what you had because I guess your “raid time” ended. You had plenty of chances to farm us during that, but I guess you felt like being nice…so thanks, GODS! You are truly worthy of the name.

So yah we knew you’d jump back down after the portal.
