New keep idea
i would like to suggest a keep with an always open door.
no door at all actually.
where everyone can just walk in, kill the lord, and claim it without having to bust anything down or cross any moats.
- Water, there should be water around the keep (like bay) only that you won’t be able to cross it.
Hmm, water that you can’t cross. Sounds like molten LAVA!

What i meant was, you would be able to swim in the water, you only won’t be able to cross it.

Keeps have narrowed corridors and walls that are meant to act as funnels like your bridge suggestion. The problem is that the AoE cap has been reduced so severely that it’s no longer detrimental to just stack on top of each other.
I do like your suggestion for rope bridges and stealth assaults it just worries me it would lead to constant exploitation like the orbs did.

Those are some nice ideas. I have only 1 thing to say on the matter of opening gates from the insides. It sounds great but you’ll end up with a bunch of thieves perma stealthing to the lever to open it every flipping time.
Don’t do the allow opening of gates.
It’s the same thing that already happens when a mesmer jumps down to portal their team.
Also it would add thief’s to be able to be just as much use, while right now they are able to glitch to perma stealth in WvW. So I’d rather not see that one.
As for a bridge, and a choke point, it won’t do much then the already in game choke points. AOE caps on player skills at a cap of 5 people kinda killed that off a good bit already.
Right now 1 main thing I would love ANet to add is a timer. Once a server caps a location (Tower/castle/keep) all opposing servers would get automatically removed after a timer ends. (say 5-10minutes)
Also if attacked and a server drives off the enemy, once the defender status goes off, a timer would start as well.
Almost like Lineage 2 has, however allowing a stealthed mesmer to be able to have their team regroup and portal in. Though it’d also nerf it where mesmers wouldn’t be able to wait 20 minutes to over an hour to do such.

would be epic if you could upgrade your keep to have lava around the walls
