About RE:
RE is a PvX guild that enjoy all aspects of GW2 but we LOVE epic battles in WvW. We are a group of active players with experiences with many other MMOs in additions to GW2. We are very passionate about WvW and we constantly strive to improve our performance. Rethesis have daily mandated WvW times (4-7pm Server time) during which we run as a guild (about 40 daily average, more on reset), but we also have commanders and members in WvW throughout the day. Ethersin is the Leader of Rethesis and our primary commander.

Rethesis was originally formed on Darkhaven and transferred to Kaineng in December of 2012. We have fought hard in WvW as a part of Kaineng and shared many victories with this respectable community. However, as a guild, we feel that it is time for us to find a new home and make friends with new comrades in the battlefield.

We believe that with RE’s passion and dedication to WvW, we will make a good addition to any NA server. The members of RE are loyal to our guild, and we would like to find a stable, friendly, but competitive community to be a part of.

I really think you and your guild should avoid transferring until after the new matchups on Friday. The new ratings system has the potential to shakeup many of the tiers so I don’t know if you can find a “stable” server at the moment.

Currently, T1 and T2 servers are probably the most stable. But 4 out of 6 of them are Full. I guess SoR and FA are still open but unless you really want to get away from certain people in Kaineng, I advise hanging out for at least another week.

I think FA is the only server I could think of that truly needs RE, with BT gone I think they could use more NA players. SoR while they have room don’t seem to be hurting for NA, but they’d know better than I how their queues look at those times. I wouldn’t touch DB for 30k gold, and since you’re from the kaineng bandwagon I doubt you’re looking for Kain 2.0 anyways.

Just a heads up I would highly recommend FA, Yak’s Bend, or SoS(push em into T3). All these servers have shown that they have what it takes to build a strong WvW community upon.

FA is fine, still outnumber DB and sometimes TC during NA prime. Let’s not destabalize a tier because 1 or 2 guilds left a server

I’ve talked to you guys before and I’m glad that you guys are finally coming around to your senses. I know when we spoke before you said that Dragonbrand was your top choice in-guild. T2 is very stable between TC/FA/DB. Dragonbrand could use Rethesis’s assistance to match TC’s NA power.

On average early NA we tick around 160-200 and by 9pm EST we are ticking 210-260. I’d like to see our min raised to 200 and max around 300 on average. Rethesis can help us do that. We can of course, as we’ve talked, help you farm the money to aid with the transfers and provide you with your guild channel in public ts3 channel and all those extra things that come with a transfer.

Right now we qeue 2-3 maps a night on average and qeue 3 maps during NA prime on the weekends, so there is space for Rethesis to que up that 4th map.

There are a lot of PvE bonuses and guild mission help we can give to you guys too but just shoot me a message on here since I’m away on vacation. And Ethersin I didn’t get your number so I couldn’t visit when I was in Los Angeles!

If you are looking for t1 go to JQ. They’ve lost some NA guilds and you will fill the gap real nicely.

best of luck with what ever server you guys choose to transfer to, my advice it to send a few scouts to potential servers (do not rep for RE) and get a feel for what the server is like and if it meets your guild requirements

This is actually true. I can’t remember the last time that we had superior numbers to our enemy; it’s always been about tactics and moving forces to where they need to go in ET. It means that we’ve become a bit more efficient in using our resources, because a single tiny mistake can result in a wipe and then losing about 100 points worth in objectives. The one thing that we really lack, however, is commanders. I would get my tag, but I just don’t have that kind of money.

This all being said, please don’t come to ET on a recruiting trip and then leave after a week of fighting, like [Agg] did. I don’t respect them for what they did; they essentially came in a highly-publicized guild movement, and then suddenly disappeared almost as quickly as they came. They claimed not to have been on a recruiting trip, but they made their trip so highly publicized, relative to their later trip to Dragonbrand…

But that’s just me.

Sorry to hear about the situation on Kaineng. Best of luck wherever you guys end up going. Jade Quarry lacks organized WvW guilds in your active timeslot, worth a shot looking into it.

I don’t think a wvw guild from KN will want to transfer to a lower tier. Probably hes looking at T1 – T3.

I would say JQ may be a good choice, they do need some new guilds to revitalize their WvW population.

Some lucky (unlucky) server will inherit a bunch of murderous quggans that have a propensity of killing innocent humans for human transformation tonics :o

JQ may be worth looking into. Their NA hasn’t been too well after RE/EMP left(the other RE). It would be quite a challenge to move a 350 man guild onto a full server, however.

Good thing about RE, is that CO has strong synergy with you guys and we’ve worked the feel together a lot. Besides that, our members are alike each other. It would be nice to have our friends back fighting alongside us once more until the end. With the new match up system, fights won’t be stagnant and we’ll face different hordes of enemies each week which will keep us fresh and excited.

The NA forces on DB can hold their own and measure up against the current T2 stand off. We don’t have FULL NA coverage yet because we are 20% weaker during the 5pm-7pm EST time slot. Most NA guilds on Dragonbrand that WvW daily mainly start their raids at 8-9pm EST. I know you guys like to kick it off around 7-8 EST which is perfect.

The NA fights to about 1-2am EST every night and then our Oceanics take over, and hold a decent tick until 8am and we start ticking 300-350 PPT for 4-5 hours.

Join FA, if the goal is good fights and balanced tiers FA/JQ are probably the best choices.

If you thrive in an environment where a bunch of your potential opponents hate you for no good reason (currently JQ, SoR, BG, TC, FA, and Mag), you can come to DB. [RE] (Red Essence) already exists here, though, so there may be some confusion. On the plus side, DB itself is pretty drama free.

Considering DB quite often ticks 400 during oceanic/SEA time, I fail to see how DB ticking 300 during NA would make T2 a more “stable” matchup. Especially considering that T2 matchups are currently often decided by 10k points.

I don’t think tier stability is that important of a factor anymore. With the the new matchup algorithms, it will be pretty rare when all three servers from the same tier will be playing each other.

We’re in 3rd ticking 125-150PPT the last 2-3 hours during NA time slot. Logic defeats trolls again! What’s the score these days? Logic – a bajillion, trolls – fap?

I think both FA/JQ would be great choices for a large NA guild. I’m not sure about FA contacts, but if you’re considering JQ shoot me a tell. We are historically and chronically outmanned during NA.

BG just had a new wave of recruits from FA I think. Either way you could help FA’s gap they created with the move, or come kill them on JQ.

DB oftens ticks 400 PPT during oceanic/SEA. which leaves 295 points left for the other 2 servers, which is 145 each.

So, you get high PPT during Oceanic/SEA, and the other two servers get high PPT during NA. Sounds balanced to me as it currently is.

Yet for some reason you’re complaining that DB only ticking 125-150 during NA is unfair and that you need more bandwagoneers to balance the matchup.

Interesting “logic” you have for yourself.
