Anyone who thinks FA is weak is deluding themselves. No one gets to T2 by being weak. All three servers are excellent. We all have diverse personalities which sometimes clash, but skill is not really up for debate here.
FA has beaten TC. TC has beaten FA. KN has beaten both FA and TC. FA and TC have both beaten KN. DB is currently beating TC and FA.
No one sucks….
+1. At any given time, all four servers (including KN on this because they spent so much time in T2) destroyed the competition and have been destroyed in return. Few examples just from this week…
1. DB has held a healthy lead during the entire reset weekend. Mean’s they’re really good.
2. FA has overtaken TC’s lead over them and moved into second place for the week. Means they’re really good.
3. TC owned DB’s entire BL last night for most of the NA time slot, and they’re the current powerhouse in T2. Means they’re really good.
We’re all good, we all can win this, or we wouldn’t be here.

DB has done a very good job in attracting new guilds to their server, As well as FA. They seem to have better coverage now.Although DB seems to have a stronger presence in all the maps more consistently.
TC has not reported for duty it seems this week. Yes we do have our NA prime time, but our off hours is lacking greatly.
The EB battles have been well fought! and none of the servers have taken the upper hand for long.
But as you said it is a long week ahead!
Curious to know this influx of new guilds to FA. Only really heard of a few individual transfers here and there, nothing massive like DB or TC has gotten in the past few weeks.

I think we got 1 or 2 small guilds recently, with about 15 people max each. And DPS/Fallen Deaf Ears has been doing an awesome job recruiting individual players for our SEA slot over the last month or so iirc.
1. We just rushed you keep (TC) yesterday for fun. We had a bunch of left over golems and though “hey, why not?” Obviously we knew we couldn’t keep it, so we were just getting that poi for those who needed it, and trolling you guys to get some angry nerds to rant in the forums
2. Don’t complain blame game mechanics for the golem rushes. We did not have 10+, we had 8 I believe. Also, don’t act like TC has never golem rushed our keep with 10 golems. It’s all in good fun.
3. Don’t generalize all FA because a few FA are camping JP. Saturday 5 DB got me in the puzzles, and there was a TC thief attacking ppl. But there was also a TC who was dancing with me near the chest. Point is, don’t generalize. Nobody likes ppl like that.

:-P Yeah, every server has fairweathers. That said, our big-name commanders and guilds are not fairweathers and a lot of them did not show up for most of the weekend. I think they just, plain, took the weekend off for some R&R.
Also, TC loves good fights and always has. There’s nothing like a BT vs (insert TC big guild here) game of chess. BT are excellent at field combat and have helped our TC guilds hone their skills and techniques. I haven’t had a lot of personal experience against VK zergs, so I can’t say much on that topic. I hear good things though. :-P
And I’ll echo that last sentiment. I think if players can just forget the angst between the servers, there will be many great weeks to come. Share the <3 folks!

Meh, TC spawn camped KN. KN spawn camped TC. FA spawn camped TC. People spawn camp. It just happens.
I think spawn camping is a truly viable game mechanic and should be considered part of the metagame. If you can slow the enemy reinforcements down, and it assists your team, what in the world is wrong with that? The goal is to frustrate and defeat the “enemy.” If you’re frustrating the enemy doing something that is perfectly acceptable (read: not an exploit), I see no problem with it at all.
I personally don’t spawn camp, and I enjoy wiping spawn campers, but I understand exactly why it’s done.

I am not sure it’s fairweathers, I would have thought everyone would be excited about a new matchup. It was definitely a slower weekend than usual but we usually are pretty weak over the weekend. We don’t usually hit our stride until Tues, so I guess it remains to be seen if we really are going to be slow all week. The new patch could make a difference to all servers depending on what actually ends up being in it.
Based on how slow we were around spring break time I wonder if finals have something to do with it. Maybe we have a lot more college kids??? Don’t know.

Very quickly DB has become the Goliath in T2.
It will take both servers to keep them in check. If not, they will have a quick and easy path to T1. (not to mention you will be stuck with us for another 8 weeks)
We have had our “issues” before TC and FA.

It just so happens that places where you get points are also hotspots for activity. Would you rather us just let you take everything and then we can set up a designated area to have “fights for fun”? If we gave you what you wanted WvW would cease to be a challenge; the fun of it is that WvW is essentially a war simulation (with all that entails) and we want to win the war.
Also, there is some delusion (with an underhanded insult attached) that DB is pure like FA, in that, they don’t care about PPT. That’s also nonsense. T1 is all about PPT and DB’s renewed strength can be traced to its new imports.

We came into T2 friendly with KN. KN dropped to T3 with us still being friendly toward them…and very sad to see them go. They’re a fantastic crowd. the difference? And the rumors that were started about TC paying for the transfers of over 500 players? Yeah, sorry, but TC doesn’t have any organized system of transferring players…and we didn’t get ANYWHERE close to 500. I’d be surprised if we even got 100 transfers. And yet you guys assume…and circulate it like it’s fact. All transfers that were TC paid were either guild sponsored, or individual sponsored. All of them were based on specific requests for help, and those sponsoring always expect to be met halfway in some respect. No free rides for full guilds or any of that garbage that the rumormill has been spewing.

TC’s meta revolves around being universally friendly and good natured. FA’s seems to revolve around being nearly universally angry and angsty, especially when it comes to TC .
Please, please…someone else tell me the can see the irony in this statement.
TC is friendly – except when making baseless assumptions on FA.
Hate to break it to you – FA is filled with nice and friendly people.
Then do me a favor and display that in this thread. I started in here this morning with a friendly tone and attitude toward both DB and FA. Unfortunately FA has shown all day long that they only know how to reply to a compliment with a troll.
Do yourself a favor and read the last several pages of this thread. Look who’s making all the assumptions.
You seem very angry. I’d recommend taking a step back and then taking a few deep breathes. The weekend was full of great fights and this week will be too. Have fun don’t be angry! This is a fun match up.

The problem is the same people keep showing up in the same thread with the same attitude. When those people weren’t in the same thread everything was fine, but there are a few personalities that provoke other people and that leads to conflict. There are also people that like to masquerade back handed insults as compliments.
Either way, the content of this thread is not representative of any one particular server’s population and is more representative of individual’s overinflated sense of pride and self worth, and it has been individuals from BOTH TC and FA doing this.
Now kids, play nice and like my mom said when I was young:
If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
