I find it hilarious that there is so much fear and angst instilled by a mere 15-20 people on one server, despite all the other guilds and the people therein, involved. Not to steal any of Cookie’s thunder, but you guys don’t even have to “rustle.” Your reputation does that all by itself. Bob and company, I’d call that sparkling success, wouldn’t you? Lol!

The wholesale slaughter of [BURN] and [WFD] at SE camp in EBBL was some of the most fun farming Sekz has ever done. We were right next to BP’s spawn…they just kept respawning and converting themselves into badges over and over and over again.
It’s hilarious that 3 people posted that all back to back haha. Can you tell we were excited? :| Sorry guys, not meaning to brag. This is just the first time we’ve ever done that as far as any of us could remember.

What started as a competitive match between BP and EBay, slid in the wee hours to the same old hanging on by our fingernails and landed on why are they still in this tier?
Most of my guild has essentially left this game and I am sure a few more will follow after months of being trapped in this tier. Shame because I believe my guild isn’t the only one suffering the effects from this stagnated play.

All Green? A sincere congrats for that feat. I must concur with Straegen — that feat makes it pretty obvious you guys shouldn’t be in this tier. And that feat will be sure to cause less AR and BP to bother with WvW.

You know I do like an uphill fight. Besides that we got some boot camp activities to conduct. That just gives us more real estate to work with. Take it all again, gives us something to do later.

I know I’ve seen some players do that on even numbers, but if the numbers are severely skewed it’s smart play to use a defensible position. If it’s open field and my guild are outnumbered though we aren’t running in fear, we are using the terrain to split your main force. The reason we build at least one of our members with a decent dueling build and some mobility(why we generally use a ranger, warrior would work OK too just slightly less regen/mobile in combat). Sadly some of you have figured this out and don’t split as easily. We like when you do though, it’s much easier to beat a larger group when it breaks apart.

Well hard time maybe not, when both servers are pushing on another server on reset night (As it is designed to happen! Just look at the map layout) the defending server can only reasonably expect to hold Garrison, North camp and the two North towers as they are closest to spawn Waypoint while flipping the North west and east camps when they can.
So I wouldn’t say hard time it was really just an expected result of an even number fight over a borderland we happened to be defending.

By the end of our short stay in T4 we’ll have learned quite a few more tactics, and have probably learned that we need more to stay in T4. It’ll only encourage us to think up more strategy and to manage our troops better. You’d be surprised how getting stomped hard in a higher tier can teach a server.

The thing that separates the tiers is coverage and numbers. You play on a low tier and then check out the top tiers, thats basically all you’ll see different.
By now commanders should have soaked up all the tactics they need, only new commanders will be learning new stuff. And even then top tier commanders don’t stay in top tier.
I mean really. Its two maps. Even with new AC range changing a few siege spots its hardly new dynamic stuff and if you haven’t learnt the tricks and how they’re countered after 8months?..

I think you are confusing forgot and don’t have the people. ARBL was running outmanned until AR forces moved off EBay BL. You don’t seem to understand, so I will explain. We can queue up one map on reset night, it was EBay BL last night. On rare occasions AR can queue up a BL and Eternal on a reset night. Of the three servers in this matchup AR has the overall lowest WvW population and coverage. That’s just how it is on AR. The tier below AR had an edge in population and coverage and BP had the edge on AR. I’m curious as to how many maps EBay had a queue on last night(the standard answer is “we only had a queue on our BL, we swears it.”)

Happens in most borderlands and occasionally in EB.
