Takeing all keeps during night while most others sleep is not that hard. Its like boxing agenst your own shadow and say later I won. LOL. But it seems its the way how VZ work.

Exactly about that post that ultranawak did is why we most people dont like to play vs VZ, thats why 2v1 would be normal and even accepted by many. Their way to play WvW is the “how it should be done”, and i recognise it, only problem is that in any open field battle where they dont have the higher number (muuuuuch higher) or better place (usually behind walls and with siege) vizuna guys are usually easy kills.

Which after the first week which it’s “oh great 300 bags per day bla bla bla”, becomes boring as hell (as well as laggy ANet ¬¬)

Then the morning kicks in and everything is green without any special skill above anyone else (i admire your normal strat and effort, even if it’s boring to play against, but vizuna’s at the time i see them are not good enough to win the overall score as easy as they do every week).

Personally i would like to have a good old match in T2 next week than playing this boredom again, which it’s now better because of SFR, great fights yesterday in Vizuna’s Bay, but last week was like ZzZZzz, what we do next?. <— Better said, in the T2 which was vgood before deso came to T1, idk what’s the current status of T2.

That’s usual French tactics))). It’s their Ligne Maginot, which is broken as easily as it was in reality, when it comes to real fight. They just do not have other alternatives))) it’s their way of seeing the world)
IMO, a lot of aggro towards VS in many ways caused by the fact that most of the people here don’t know real French people and never lived in France. (i have the pleasure of both). Can only suggest to read the marvelous “Year in Merde” by Stephen Clarke. It describes French perfectly and makes you laugh hard during the reading. You’ll understand that VS are just simply not capable of different behavior, and there’s no need for u to waste your energy and get irritated by them))

Both of them.

But mainlly fun, fighting it’s funny. Getting points when fighting it’s funny too because it forces to fight in different sittuations, attacking and defending. But working for points it’s not that fun, after all it’s a game. Also getting points is useless anyways, no real bonus or benefict from having higher points.

I mean, i’ve been a nightcapper (not that night, just like until 2-3:00 AM) in servers where the opposite force was very small, when you complete a map it’s like… erf… ZZzzz, boring wards starting :/

You should elect a spokesman to write down your verbal diarrhea one time per day, because half of the posts is very redundant. VS is weak blabla, VS is zerg blabla, VS is a T8 server… but you forgot something important, VS is still first. You can say to your jobmates you are losing against a weak zerging T8 server.

On a slightly more positive note, I made a video of our GvG fights vs Za Drots before we came to Seafarer’s Rest. Hope some of you will enjoy it! They are still the strongest guild we’ve fought in a GvG setting to date and I am confident they’ll show Desolation and Vizunah Square guilds why when the GvG’s start rolling.

We don’t care about gvg, too bad we can’t report those doing gvg in wvw and get them excluded of wvw.

GvG is not part of wvw and should be infracted as you are taking slots for nothing.

From the point we start playing, around 19 GMT+1, to the point we stopped playing, around an hour after midnight GMT+1, we held the majority of our borderlands together with sIN or PuGs. At best we held all three keeps, but most of the time only two simultaneously. This was despite having WL+LP+some more Vizunas which I can’t remember(sorry ). Desolation basically left the zone for a large amount of time.

Obviously one guild can’t win against an entire server, especially when the guild members have real life obligations and can’t play 24/7. But I guess in the Viz world only the unemployed make T1 guilds, in which case I guess you are right.

Guys dont trash talk against any server since it wont help your sever in the long run. Reputation is the key to every success. Whatever Viz is doing, is working perfectly fine for them and this is what makes them what they are. For that reason they are number 1 server in EU. And they will remain at the top until Deso, or SFR gets NA or Oceanic guilds. For me, i dont care about the score anymore. Even if we have 0 tick ill be still playing because i wvw for fun not for the score.

Sry too post so late guys but i had fun this weekend on SFR border. FG was there to keep morale up for the whole border(who was still there) and we face the mighty RG and the Big ZD’s we had fun and learned alot fighting against you. We kept the pressure to take hills many times and fighting RG alot made Viz feels like paper when we got attacked by them …….wiped them many times…..I hope we gave good fights for our enemies.

I’m sure plenty of people on Deso, SFR and any other server VS has ever faced are very dedicated, they just show this dedication in different ways.

Expected to be played? Please, everything points towards ANet thinking WvW wouldn’t be very popular or big, i think it was even stated properly somewhere in the beginning of the game.

ANet didn’t expect jack kitten from WvW and got an unpleasant surprise when a large group of dedicated people from all over the world made it their sole occupation in this game.

If you’ve noticed, I haven’t blamed any server for anything, I’ve even been relatively nice to Vizu (granted, I think the only people I haven’t been nice to so far are on my own server) so don’t make sweeping accusations of “everybody hates us” when it’s not true.

Or maybe arenanet sees that they can squeeze more money out of pvers and thus ignores wvw. until they see the danger lights ahead. Or maybe arenanet did not want to but nexon “directed” them to. After all it’s when they changed the dyes from “we know its a pain to do per character so they are going to be account available” to “kittenLOLOLOL”.

What other explanation can there be for complete wvw inactivity after all these months? It’s not like the people fixing the culling are the ones doing game design, and it’s not like they haven’t had enough time to figure it is popular even if they were blind in beta.

It’s funny how people take everything personally and don’t understand when that doesn’t go their way. “you” is not necessarily your person in a discussion.

But you (see above) can’t blame people choosing to play it the way it has been designed, even if it’s a boring way for you (…), It’s not for some others.

Really no one expect you to understand what dedication is and don’t feel forced to post all your extremist feelings there.

Since pretty much every Vizu player believes that everybody hates them, i of course had to adress that for my particular case.

You base “expected to be played” on that information? Feels more like “I meant to do that! Really!” than a thought-out decision.
Don’t get me wrong, i’m ex-Blacktide, of course i like the 24/7 system, but if they expected WvW to be like this they would’ve managed to find a way to make more money on it, and WvW would’ve gotten more attention.

As it clearly shows, at least so far, no amount of primetime focus and PvP pwnage will get you win in rankings over VS.

That gaping hole in SFR/Deso income from 8am today… Man it looks aweful.

This shows it perfectly, lowest score all day except between 4am-12am.

I don’t blame Vizu for capping kitten at this time interval, we all would do it too. But the hate against Vizu comes because they have only 1 good guild: WL. It is frustrating to lose from bad players just because you got a job, studies, family or simply have to sleep. During the day fights don’t even last 2s, one burst and all the enemies are dead. You just start to wonder, what am I doing here? It feels like Vizu ain’t even trying during day and primetime, they just think: let’s relax sit back and enjoy and take everything in the morning.

So it just frustrates anyone, if you have a life, you can’t win from Vizu. But I don’t care, I love my life to much. I just keep hoping for that big guild that protects our towers/keeps during the morning.

Since all i see is blaming and flaming. I’ll just post how my weekend was with IRON on the Desolation border.

First off all, I’m a little asura elementalist on Desolation.

And thus far I had a blast of a weekend in wvw. Some of the best fights I’ve had in weeks – no months.

Fighting with IRON, on Desolation Borderlands during reset (and the rest of the weekend).

We started messy – and that showed in the point gain during the few minutes/hours after reset.

We we’re getting outnumbered and outplayed by far but stood our ground (or tried too :P).

This was a real wake-up call for most of us (considering it was 03:00 +1).

So the Saturday we started some training and did actually quite fine! I personally found that the pace between the 3 servers were even!

So after 10:00 we started to get the hang of it and (believe it or not) we didn’t wipe for the rest of the day in open field combat or 3way fights (till up around 19:30-20:30).

And we had some awesome open field fights – some lasted only seconds since we got them by surprise – others lasted 10-15min.

The sad thing was though (or smart) everytime we started attack vizuna Hills (and got it) SFR either started bashing into our backs or they went to woodhaven.

Guess you can’t avoid it since it’s a 3way fight. Luckily for us they were either to slow with getting gates down or got pushed back long enough.

Than there was Sunday. What a day – AWESOME fights in the afternoon.

Logged on at around 8:00-9:00. Seeing we lost everything on Deso borders to either SFR or Vizu.

We started to rally our players and capped everything back within 3 hours (nothing special but it felt great to see a complete blue map after such fighting).

The afternoon was even better though.We dropped to point game and went to seek (and find) some great openfield battles.

After getting our kitten handed to us by ZDs 4 times!, in their primetime, we needed to get our  game up.

We came back and wiped them (even in 3 way fights) 4 times in a row aswell! The fights at lake were awesome. Viz coming from their spawn Deso from the water and SFR from ruins.

Clashing their blades and spells into each other, EPIC..

We as deso had a hard time fighting you guys since it was so far a way from our spawn and you guys kept flowing in.

After 10 minutes we still stood their with atleast 15 of the 30-40 players who fought alongside of us.We went back to do a tactical retreat since we just couldn’t handle the continue flow of SFR and Viz.

Big thumbs up for Viz to not hide inside of lake all the time but coming to face two stronger (openfield) servers.

You’re not quite there yet in the open fields (but really really getting there! Loving the effort you guys showed the past few weeks and love how far you’ve come compared to 4-6 weeks ago!).

Also a big thanks to ZDs and Rise for the awesome fights! Wiping us 4 times in a row, give us a break!

But we got you back 4 times in a row aswell! Was real fun and I would like to see this the rest of the week aswell.

I really don’t care if we drop a tier aslong as it happens while we’re having fun!

All with all awesome weekend! 3500 kills for me – hope you guys so many aswell!

The action takes place during prime time, with a double cap of both Bay and Shadaran on SFR map, that’s maybe why Vizunah is still in T1 since the beginning, and not any other server.

Not because of superior strategy, but timezone coverage. Exept if you count 4am to 12 against doors a superior strategy. But as you said “maybe” but not :p

People complain about nightcapping but that is your own server’s problem not Vizunah’s. Not their fault you have a prime-time one trick pony that can’t sustain a 24 hour war.
