Thanks for the roundabout compliment even if you cannot manage to say Iron. I did say there would be payback for nicking our t3 garrison in prime time the other day.

Congrats to Sfr, great victory and it has been a long time since I have had this much fun in WvW. Looking forward to next week. So many guilds from Sfr have brought so many great fights this week, I would like to thank you all.

Thank you all for a wonderful week of pain, suffering and violence. Culling and skill lag aside, the quality and size of the fights we get involved in makes it all worth it. VS is a tough nut to crack, with all that dedication and the Vizunah spirit, plus improved open combat capabilities (we noticed) and Deso.. oh my beloved Deso… still standing strong with your strong guilds and strong skills, making Sacrx all paranoid of your ambushes and insane focus.

This is T1 and it surely feels like it.

I personally wanted to hang a gold one… after 3 silvers in Deso. Im one of those guys who started with the opening shot, and been battling ever since. From lonesome night guards in T5 to gold amongst the best (all u guys). For me its a full circle. Guess now i can loose myself in the bloodlust freely, feeling no regrets.

Hope all the technical game issues get completely fixed soon so we can enjoy absurd numbers and odds in all its glory.

You are misinformed, Vizunah didn’t have a bug, EU servers had, including Seafarer’s ( I know because it denied me access for at least 1 hour). Yes we got a lot of points during that time, but unless you can prove that somehow Vizunah got affected more than Seafarer’s it’s just moot talk. GG to everyone nonetheless.

Oops, I thought that VZ was the only impacted server. Seems it unbalanced the match at some point from what I heared, no idea so if you recovered earlier than us. For my personal case, it took me 2h30 to be able to log in again.

I’m sorry your alarm clock went off at a time the log in servers were down, maybe should have set it to 5am not 7am.
Nevertheless it was a routine maintenance of the log-in servers, bltc and the game servers that prevented people from logging in and it was announced ingame prior to the actual start.

Congratulations to SFR players for a well deserved victory, that’s quite a nice come-back. GG.

I would like to thank Desolation players as well for having kept it a 1vs1vs1 throughout the week (except the very first stages but whatever). It’s cool because it allows some field encounters – more than in a case of a 2vs1 where the 1 is just obliged to fortify and react. And I know some people enjoy that field gameplay.

And finally, although it’s rather nasty to congratulate one’s own side, I am really impressed and happy with Vizunah’s behavior this week. Considering the odds 7 days ago, I’d say it’s quite a good result, I’ve seen quite nice stuff, congrats as well (although I am going to go laying in my bathtub and crying all the tears of my body right now, eh, a loss is a loss ).

I just wanna say congratz to the 3 servers who definitely proved they were strong enough to fight for Tier1 on the long run. To me, it was pretty much the best week since i started the game in August : for an exciting battle, you need great opponents and no matter what people say you guys definitely are : Desolation, my godness you guys have some very strong guilds, very hard to fight, while SFR have some very strong guilds too and a better coverage. I just hope Desolation can bring a few more people so they can fight for the first place too.

I mean i don’t wanna be part of of this trakittenalk i just red out there, i prefer to focus on what happened in game this week, like these truly amazing 3 way battles inside Vz Garrison that last more than an hour of intense fights. This is why i play, this is what makes GW2 so cool to play despite all the technical problems that haven’t been solved yet.

We could keep writting that the other two servers are weak, that they hide inside their fortress using only arrowcarts, and stuff like that, but the truth is we had some awesome fights all week long. I hope all of you will let it go with the trash and just appreciate the quality of your opponents.

So thanks a lot SFR, Desolation and my Vizunian mates for the best week i ’ve ever had on a mmorpg since my Lineage2 times when i used to fight the russian forces (RedSquad) with Unforgiven&DragonLords.

Yeah, not sure what’s been going on with the servers but if there’s a fight ANYWHERE on the border, it seems to lag the whole map. Hopefully will be fixed soon as you said but good fights this week

Well played, Seafarer rest. It was one of the best week i ever had, so many ours to fight and resist with my Vizunians brothers. Good guilds, good coverage, a lot of great fights, even a very long fight versus RG garrison west i will remember.

I know how to make “rp” posts to boost morale, but i also do it if we loose with honor versus good opponent. We lost a battle, but not the war.

Good job SFR!. Props to all the guilds. Last night SIN 12 guys who stayed on and RNV 15-20 and the 11 RG who stayed + any soloers from guilds or pugs around.

If the 40 or so viz can not spread and nibble with 4 golems and 8 players etc just suppress the morning cap they loose. That NW tower in viz was turning point with full viz online and FM norn guardian commander. Endless times they suicide on catas. The spirit was broken after that tower fell. Then on with Zds and russian army to cover. plus riot/vcy and all i forget who had a push this morning.

The battle is won and overall points of viz coming down. But if you think we stupid enough to step off gas or i was not expecting a long few weeks to get viz from t1 you mistaken. The WAR is on!. We now need deso or elona to stop messing about or jadesea morning cap to move deso.

Lets hope your sunday night/monday morning cheese raid works next week.

As for the week it was good amount of kills the action was decent. I still hope guilds start running alone more than just one commander zone blobs. blob vs blob is not much skill delay your guild vs blob seem to be stupid and cant even change weapon.

Hopefully anet with commander changes will make commander option to hide to all bar guild or some form of guild commander that we should of had since start. Or with full culling removal maybe we wont need commander again like we always used before last patch. As for lag i fear that will only get worse.

Good luck for next coming week but that only for deso to stop slack. As for viz love you big kiss <3.

Do not fall into viz trap of great fights etc and we wanna be friends. Respect maybe not so much with playstyle of viz. Underestimate 100% never. Mind games and deception is the game we all know viz true colors on the inside. They will slit your throat while you sleep.

See, Sacrx, when everyone is thanking the other servers for the awesome week we all had, you’re just spreading your poison once more.
You could just stop and do us all a big favor, your hatred has no place in a videogame.

There are probably very few people on the three servers wishing for “THIS server to go down a tier”. We all wish for a fun, disputed and balanced fight. I don’t think you can seriously pretend that losing one of the current three T1 servers will make the game more fun, disputed and balanced.
(well, of course, you will say it’s no fun playing against VS)

This said, thanks a lot to SFR and Deso, this was a very very very engaging week. VS was in a strange position, not really motivated anymore by WvW, not really concerned by the matchups because it wasn’t very challenging, untill you guys showed up and kicked our butts.

I believe Sacrx was attempting to illustrate Vizunahs PR face and the real face that lurks beneath. The fact they attempted to create an alliance with Desolation this week and were told kindly to “get stuffed” shows just exactly how misdirecting the individuals leading that server are. They will gladly win off another servers back and attempt to say they about “honor” and “server pride” but when you dig a little deeper you see exactly how far these individuals will go to win.

Point is, with this loss of Vizunah we hope it encourages them to come out of their towers/keeps a little more to fight rather than play the game from behind an arrowcart/cata.

Some guilds of note Id like to give props to this week. A combined RG and NoE force on reset, SINS for some epic fights, you guys just keep coming back and its refreshing. ZDs great team work with SINs it was hard fighting you both together but we managed to pull it off. HUPs and Last Pride for some great baiting work last night.

Great fun this week guys, lets ramp it up next week.

And I don’t know about SFR and Deso, but no “individuals” are leading VS, neither VS does have PR. VS has guilds, mostly capable of working together and usually agreeing on a general strategy, but there is no emperor.

The amount of confidance in their posts ‘we just are the best, score proofs it’ and the current state of point, should kitten a lot of Vizunah. Maybe they will finally get a normal sleeping pace, and make the matcup more interesting.

Personally i would help vizunah b4 any server except baruch bay, i think they are the best at WvW, overall, even if it’s not so fun to play versus them, their tactics are strategy are great considering they do not have big agreements about builds and such.
Even if they were beaten this week, GL with doing anti-morning caps every week, personally i wouldnt do that for a game for free (i can’t too).

Apart from that, i think anet doesn’t want us to have a commander managing a big group easily, they said many times that they prefer many little-medium sized groups fighting everywhere than zerging. I think that’s why they never made a proper raidUI or anything like that.

After the Blacktide ‘falling apart’, I haven’t seen Vizu Loosing. It’s also the longest period of time i’ve been fighting them. I know they lost before, but it’s good to know they still can. And the ‘undefeatable Gods’ was sarcastic.

‘And vs stands’. What a joke. You lost this week, cause you didn’t expect it too. That means you didn’t play at full potential (your fail). Then again you guys already play on an inhumane rythm. Guilds running alone is how the game is played, or should be, that’s where the fun is. The puggies can follow the pug herders, but the guilds should only converge when absolutely needed.
When CIR was active, I wasn’t playing to play with a bunch of randoms, to play with any other guild than the one i chose to play with. While it’s necessary to team up at times, and that’s part of the game, and working together (as in, running together) can be fun at times, it shouldnt be how everything is.

Try to be as good as you can with the people you enjoy playing with! Put some effort in things!

@Phoebe : Trust me when I say we were not really prepared to SFR moving up a tier, along with Deso staying here (this combination of servers was the last one to make VS fall, and quite spectacularly, because we ended-up third on week 02, which is only 7 weeks from now).
And to keep up with the pace, we had to play full potential. Above full potential for some I would say. If we really had that much potential, we would have reacted differently in the week, the match-up turning to our disadvantage on monday (even if the graphs show otherwise, that’s when we lost the week).
So please don’t speak about things you don’t know. You are just devaluating your server and SFR if you really think we didn’t play at full potential.

Guilds of 20-30members, maybe yeah, it looks like anet tops on 25, they dislike zergs. I play in a guild, not a pug, but for real, if everyone did play WvW as anet intended to do it, WvW would be great, BUT, it’s not strategically optimal.

Anyways people doesn’t run with 80 guys everytime, just to some special defend or attack (unless of course you are trapped in your only fortress).

Btw, some1 else thinks that WvW rounds should end a little earlier? ._., post-restart fights are great, but friday is more or less lost until 1:00.

Gratz to SFR, nice to see someone new on top. Hopefully you will be able to maintain the pace unlike several servers before you. Respect to Vizunah for great team play and organisation. I hope we in deso can attract some new WvW guilds to bring future match ups ever closer between the 3 servers.

After taking a break from EU T1 for a month on American servers I gotta say Vizunah have stepped up a bit when it comes to open field battles. Dont know if it is because of some of the new guilds that joined or just a slight change in the “Vizunah Spirit” but I think you guys are way more fun to play against now.

Its a bit sad to face my old server SFR but I dont regret one bit going Deso, I dont think we could get any better opponents to fight against when it comes to open field. And big grats on the win, you guys deserve it.

You said Vs doesn’t deserve to be in T1, but do you think you deserve to be a leader ?

You don’t seem to realize you have a huge influence on your mates and a big part of the community of gw2 players.

You have a responsibility, whether you accept it or not, and perhaps you don’t realize a lot of people really think you are telling the truth.

I don’t expect you to be honest, and you will probably still say that this is a big conspiracy from "the “beast” again , but man you can really hurt some people with these words.

Please just remember that this is only a game, with a large community of players from all EU or NA servers, and there is enough pain and hatred on earth to not add more in our virtual world.

We’ll certainly have to play together for a long time, then a little effort to make this an enjoyable experience for all of us would be very appreciable.

I know you felt as though the pugs were joining in, But they weren’t and even desolation guilds who were watching agree’d with us, It was however very messy, With pugs from both servers attacking the Spider Queen Trait point. And a certain SFR player being a pain.

I felt though our gvg fights were even and we deserved to win 3-0, Respect to ex Kaz guild though, You guys are still impressive and well organised even with the guild drama that happened.

I hope we can do it again sometime in a more quiet place with no pugs about.

Thanks for the gvg BuLl friday evening.
I know you felt as though the pugs were joining in, But they weren’t and even desolation guilds who were watching agree’d with us, It was however very messy, With pugs from both servers attacking the Spider Queen Trait point. And a certain SFR player being a pain.

I felt though our gvg fights were even and we deserved to win 3-0, Respect to ex Kaz guild though, You guys are still impressive and well organised even with the guild drama that happened.

I hope we can do it again sometime in a more quiet place with no pugs about.

I wasn’t there but this GvG produced quite a buzz in the community. I was suggesting BULL guys to publish their video and would recommend you (or any spectators who were recording) to do the same so there’s no misunderstanding and no room for rumors. As it stands atm, I believe many Deso guilds will be reluctant in arranging more GvGs with you.

You can ask VoTF who were there. They saw what happened and they backed us up.

We will have a video out in a few days. There is no denying Pugs were messing about, We told ours to keep away and there was one guy who didn’t. We can’t control the actions of one person sadly.

However we beat them fair and square imo, When we had our fights, I didn’t notice any SFR pug attack and even the Deso people watching said the same. I’ve spoke to one of the Bull guys today. And we hope to arrange a more quiet GvG with them.

I won’t say it wasn’t messy, It was. There was a few people from our server popping the Spider Queen Trait point, before our fights and one guy who will go unnamed who popped a flame ram buildsite before we were about to start.

It’s sad to see, But there was Desolation pugs who attacked our guys when some of our guys had to die to get rid of the blood lust buff. In the end people can make there minds up with the video. VoTF guild from deso was watching and we told them to keep an eye on our pugs to see if they were attacking, And they said they weren’t.

If Bull want to organise a more quiet event, We a more than welcome. I didn’t see any other SFR pugs attack when we were fighting nor did RG/VoTF and many other /w i got from some other random Deso guys.
