Sorry to hear but you are in luck that a 1 time rollback is now possible, you will need to create a support ticket. Unfortunately, my understanding is your guild is screwed.
It is coincidence you are on RoS which has had quite a few hacks. There is another thread on here where commanders had been hacked all from RoS.

I sent a ticket for a rollback, it just making me even sadder that all my progress will be lost. And all the items i got will be lost also.

I feel for you, I got hacked while on a month long vacation. Came back to play to find my email was changed to China. Bank and all gold wiped clean and to add insult they deleted my 2 80’s leaving only my lvl 20ish lowbies. All achievements all work done to main poof. This was before the 12/1 acount rollback possible so just SOL.

It is worse, my reputation on my guild is now ruined. The leader wants me to payback what the hackers stole, infact all the stuff i got stolen from my account is way more than the gold stolen from the guild. Cause of the Gems and the Gold i have (Few silvers) almost 2 Gold on my person, and those items that are Soulbound on Use. It crushed my spirit, and now i don’t know if i should play at all if the rollback happens…

I need to know the ETA on this fix, cause im really anxious to get back and play the game. I heard rumours on youtube that Arena wont restore items and gems/gold, and that im not going to recover the stuff i worked hard for (And given to me by my friends) i need a reply asap to my ticket please Arena. GW 2 is the only game that i play to relax after work.
I just found out recently that they went to my level 80 Elemental, stole and destroyed everything i have on that account. Even the items my friend made for me, please Arena help me. :/

Um, I got my account hacked too. And I lost gems I bought with gasp real money, but they apparently can do nothing. Exept give back the account to you.
I wished if they could have done a rollback, but I will try one more update on my ticket.

It still isnt good enough, a few days im out of the game. The more stressed i am, this game gives me relief from Real Life stress and problems… And i cant have that relaxation anymore… Only Pain and Agony…
Aww, hang in there. Hmm, I have been trying to ask for a restoration but I used the term rollback, so maybe they didn’t know the word or my wording was off. One more updated ticket and then I will give up, too bad they only give you one rollback (if any). Apparently hacked accounts are pretty commonplace.
I was just Recently hacked as well. Couldnt log in to the game however everyone in my guild in mumble was talking to the person hacking my account. When i was finally able to log on my level 80’s were naked and everything in my inventory was gone along with any items in my bank worth value. I thought there was an account restoration to get everything back. But after gathering information from the person i have been talking to in this case that is not so. hi Lady, it’s needles here. imo, breaking 1 password is possible but with the email authentication in use now, all i can think of is the hacker has bugs in Arenanet server. with my friend account hacked and bots flying around every mining spots, Anet, i’m losing my trust in you. I was quickly enough to add several bots in my friend list (their name really long and difficult to remember so that reduce the chance anyone report them) and i see them warp around every map to collect materials, go to trade post to collect gold….etc i report them every day, and every day i see them got online continue that souless daily routine, but my friend here, a nice player, can’t play at all, and do nothing but a little chat because she has to wait for that roll back which will destroy all her advancement if she play the game now. this really sucks Anet. we don’t want a game filled with souless bots. i’m afraid of the day all my friends (even me) got hacked and become a mining machine flying around map =_=. do something, use hack shield, use double check secret question, use 10 steps log in process, ANYTHING. and give me my friend back in the game.

Thank you. I really want to get back in the game, i waited and waited for a response. But all i get is nothing about the rollback, please please fix my account. And i’m not the only one suffering from this hacking issue, countless others aswell.
Sit back, relax, wait it out. If you have been waiting less than a week then you have not waited at all. If you have waited for more than 3 days then post in the 3-days-and-older thread. Continually posting the same thing over and over will do nothing to help your ticket be resolved, likely won’t hurt it either but you seem to keep posting with the misconception that it will help. It won’t.

I was fearing this, everything gone. And Arena not helping… Youtube already warned people about this but im not giving up, im still hoping to get my stuff back. But the long wait means i’ll be missing the winterfest event…
I browse the account issues forum section a fair bit trying to help where I can and have made a few observations:
1. Support generally get it right but they have made the odd mistake which gets magnified and screamed about.
2. Support seem to have a habit of not being specific enough with their replies, for instance to Titan Cronus above they have been far too vague for a reply stating no more messages will be taken. Why the hell not would be my question, if I knew WHY no more messages would be taken then I could move on with closure. I think if anything makes support seem bad it is the vagueness. Even when telling someone their account is closed indefinitely the support person should be giving enough information for the player to know why what happened had to happen.
Gaile however is of a much higher standard than the staff who deal with support tickets. Though I can easily imagine that their bosses are pushing them to roll through tickets faster than they can give them appropriate attention, perhaps they have a daily quota which I think would be very counter-productive to providing good customer service. They should be prioritising quality service since the reputation they would get for that would far outweigh the wait for tickets to be addressed.
The above is entirely simply my opinion of course.

Game event is the funnest with friends, since i cant play till the restoration. All my progress before the restoration will be gone.. So no point playing till the account is restored.
Can always start a lowbie character. =)

I cant start a lowbie, cause i was saving my Gems (Which it was stolen) is all gone now. So i cant buy another character slot. And Titan it’s all ok.
Waitting for Arena to restore my account, so im gonna bump this up.
I hope your account gets restored, as well as mine. My guild wars experience has been mostly great so far, until this. This makes me feel sick that someone can hack your account, steal your stuff, and might get away with the only person punished being you.

Whenever i get off of work, i sit down and login to GW 2. For some relaxing time, after feeding my pets and doing everything else, i really missed my happy times in the game..
I am very excited right now, my account will be fixed very soon! Cant wait to play and relax again in my favorite game.

Can’t get into my sons account and his email is full of emails about someone from China trying to access his account. I can’t even find the serial key so not sure what to do. All games need to just block China from playing.

I’m sorry to inform you, hackers can get around that kind of blocks. As long as ANet security is not compromised, then you can really only do your up-most to ensure that they don’t get a foot through the door into your account. Part of this involves learning how to protect yourself from account theft.

Loli, I have been playing these games for almost 15 years and have been hacked twice. Once was when I was stupid enough to log on and play at a hotel and the other is now. My computers have all updated security software – this is not about me not knowing how to protect myself.
Hackers these days are getting creative. Stealing information from, or using their own created 3rd party sites, even if not related to Guild Wars 2. They use the acquired list to attack. Anet has mentioned how the hackers are using accounts and passwords that don’t even exist in the database. This is why you use a unique email and password for Guild Wars 2, or anything that you value.
Also the reason why software security has continual updates is because hackers find a new way to hack you.
End of the day, you can only do so much to protect yourself. Since hackers are evolving, our information on protecting ourselves from theft also must be kept updated.

It’s sad that Hackers used their “Smarts” if you can call it that, to ruin other peoples lifes and steal their things. Instead of helping other people fix their Computer related problems, and do better things than act like “Thieves” cause i know in certain states and countries you can go to prison for this.
Bumping this up again, getting frustrated with all this delays when my ticket is clearly accepted for restoration. It makes me think that they don’t know what their doing, and just want to search in the dark. The ticket has a date on it, why not just base the restoration on the tickets date.

I was gone for 5 hours, only 5 hours and they had cleared it all and destroyed all my (cultural tier 3) gear. they even cleared my guild’s bank being that im an officer in the guild. How on earth can we be left so defenseless, why are we not being protected, we can only protect our accounts to a certain point. I have not in my hours upon hours of researching the web been able to find ANYONE who has been able to get their gold and gear restored. im losing faith honestly, i love guild wars, and i want to play already. My account is approved for a restoration already, but for some odd reason their finding the closest image for the restoration? Please, the ticket has a date its so simple to find the closest image based on the date. And yes i am also losing all hope on Arena for the fact that, their taking way too long to fix issues. I can understand that GW2 just came out in a short time, but i don’t understand is why they didn’t predict this kind of events happening? Other games already took major leaps in security before release, and GW2 didnt? What were they doing during Beta? Scratching their heads?
