Yeah, it looks like someone just bought themselves some gifts.

I just logged in for the first time since the fractals event last night, and found myself miles away from where I logged out last. I was in fireheart rise with an inventory full of junk, missing all my unique dungeon armor and my Ancient Karka Shell and more. They apparently left me 1g50s in my inventory so I could teleport out and check that, yes, they also cleaned out my personal bank.

This included some runes I was saving, ectoplasm, extra exotics, rare mats, and at least one rare shoulder skin I got from opening a black lion chest using real money.

I wanted to play the christmas event, but this whole affair has left me feeling like garbage. Is there any way that my stuff can be returned to me?

I went to the “Login Issues” in the Guild Wars support section, and filed the ticket “10548488” and would like to play with my brother as soon as possible! Thanks!

EDIT: Also, I just realized there are 3 “Authorized” locations in Korea and China that I can’t unauthorize. Can someone help me with that?

I have the same problem as you, when i logged in all my stuff was stolen/destroyed/sold, sad part is my Gems and Gold is all gone. I filed my own ticket also “121217-002070” Been waitting for a day now and a few hours, i have 2 locations that are from China. I hope yours gets fixed also, cause its Christmas time and i know how you feel losing everything you got.

Sadly on the site it says there is a restoration, however the person ive been talking to via Email said “In regards to missing gold, characters and items, currently we are technically unable to provide restorations or any direct assistance with reclaiming what was lost.” I hope you are having better luck than i am

Had this happen to me yesterday, the hackers salvaged all my gear and sold them on the trading post for gold and then ran off with it They took everything that wasn’t account bound.. Still waiting for a response on my ticket.

That number isn’t an accurate ticket number. Look for something like this: 12XXXX-XXXXXX.

Secondly, yes, Support can help you by removing the authorization of those unwanted locations, so be sure to mention that in your ticket.

Arena needs to help us, as costumers since we did pay to get the game. And alot of us spend real life money to buy premium items and gems, we deserve the privilage of being helped. Specialy its christmas time.

Same thing for me as well sounds like a bunch of accounts got compromised. I was working with support and got an email back very quickly but since I gave them more information I haven’t heared anything in a while. Hey guy theirs nothing wrong with my account but a guildie of mine got hacked on Christmas day she sent in a ticket for having her items restored and changed her password so it was 16 characters long with lower and upper case letters along with a random set of numbers. Now she’s telling me her account was terminated because she engaged in gold selling or was assisting in gold selling for real world money. She was devastated to find that all her items where gone except for the karma gear. Bags were taken and bank was emptied. Her account had authorized access in China, Korea and California…

In her own words: I have 2 IP addresses that have been approved on my account that I did NOT approve: 275.139.12.204 California, US the name of it is “Network Security Scanner” www.gfi.com

203.240.253.125 Korea “Apps on Google Play” www.play.google.com

142.9.129.57 was asking for approval and that is “Email Security Services” www.edgewave.com


She also changed her email’s password so all I could think was their was a key-logger but her virus scan came up inconclusive…

I also forgot to mention me and another guildie sent Gail 22.5g each to help her out then she found out about about the account restoration so she sent the gold back to us. Maybe that’s why she was labeled as engaging or assisting in gold selling. Please help her get this sorted as soon as possible. Thanks!
