I got hacked, like many ppl i see.. but they didnt clear all of my chars. still got my main left with all the things on. lol BUT! if i keep playing and collection mats, will the mats i get now be lost if they reroll my account?
i made a ticket and so on.. just wanna know if its worth playing now while i wait for the staff to get my mats / gear back?

If you receive an Account Restoration, you account will be rolled back to a previous state/date, and everything will be rolled back with it.

Uh what they say is accurate, but if I recall correctly, if you store any non bound items you have farmed after the hack in a personal guild bank they should still be there after the rollback because it does not affect guild stashes. Anything account or soul bound though that you acquire between now and your roll back will be lost.

5 days ago, my friend got hack and all characters deleted. He is our guild leader. 2 hours ago, He received account restore and everything back to him Thank you Anet, your help plenty fast.
I hope that you can get a restoration also.

We suggest that you simply wait on achievements and acquisitions until you’ve decided on a restoration and the Support Team has concluded the process. It’s just clearer if you don’t get that one-in-a-million drop and then say “Waiiiit, un-restore my account!”

hmm.. one more thing. If i do like this then, i play the game. all the materials i get, i send to a friend that can hold em for me. BUT if you guys restore my account do my friend still get that materials?

Technically, that would work, but if it doesn’t I doubt there is any method to recover those resources.
