Refund gems for BLkeyfarm
LOL
This is a question only the CS Team could answer. Good luck.
You can’t get refunded for services you have already used – that includes items claimed by in-game mail but not deployed in-game.
Unrelated, but just a thought… Key farming is technically cheating to get items. “Technically.”

No I think that I should be able to get a refund, they took and changed the way the game worked thus making my purchase a waste and they have given refunds in the past. Its also my understanding that they are giving refunds on commander tags if you had bought more than three tags all over that would get the gold back. How would that be different from what I am asking?
Red’s posted before that they were ok with us BLkey farming and it In Fact was not Cheating as the time it took they thought was a reasonable trade off.
The CS Team absolutely has no tools for refunding changes to game accounts. You can submit a ticket, but, frankly, it would be a waste of time.
On this note, i bought 5 character slots but decided just to play only 1 toon. Possible to get a refund on them as i dont use them anymore?

Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.

That being said your situation is different.
Wardrobe and commander tag related refunds are related to purchases rendered redundant. And you onyvgot the difference between cost before and cost after.
The cost of the items you bought did not effectively change due to patch making more than x purchases redundant.
ANet didn’t make 6 character slots the default number and didn’t give out a free golem or the wolf elite skill or the hero’s headband.
I don’t think your situation warrants a refund. Sorry.
This seems like a very poorly thought of argument. I would personally think this isn’t a situation that qualifies for a refund, seeing as the stuff you bought weren’t made redundant and have more uses than simply Keyfarming, which while not designated as an exploit by Anet is not exactly a feature either.
But hey, maybe CS will have a different opinion. Whatever the case, g’luck.
Which is why I am asking and not just making a ticket. I want to know the answer is yes or no so I can decide to keep the extra items or not. I might just get around to trying to open that thing that gives you rank if I know that the answer is no.

We do not have a toolset that would allow us to remove account upgrades, such as bag slots. That is why your request was declined, with our regrets.
They wouldn’t give me a refund of the sale price difference on a character slot I bought right before the last character slot sale (i.e. a partial refund), so the likelihood of you getting a full refund for your situation is 0.00%.

We give refunds when it’s fair and appropriate to do so. There must be policies that guide refunds, of course. As a real-world example: you can’t wear a pair of jeans for two years, take them back, and expect a full refund or a brand new pair of jeans. Sure the jeans “don’t work as they did originally” but you had the use of them for two years!
Questions of this nature are directly related to one, single account. And as such, they can be answered only by a Customer Support representative, because no forum member would have the ability to review the account, purchase history, ownership verification, etc.
If you want to know the answer of “Can I get a refund for [insert something here]” please always address that question to Customer Support by clicking “Support” at the top of this page and then clicking the “Submit a request” option.
