Serial Code Overlap
Did you make a second account with its own display name (name.xxxx) or try to link it to Resurrected.4132? Pretty sure each edition with its own serial code is a separate account with its own display name.
You can upgrade old accounts, turn them into heroic edition from a basic edition. Is that what you are trying to do?

No, I have this account and I am on an NA server. I actually live in the UK so have bought the heroic digital edition to play on a EU server and was hoping to link that game to Resurrected.4132.
You cant link GW2 to GW2. Only link a GW1 to GW2 account.
Then you have to make a totally separate account with its own display name (not Resurrected.4132), characters, achievements, etc and login. It’s not possible to do what you are trying to do.
Edit:
I think you (or anyone else) can use the display name Resurrected if you want but it will have a different string of numbers behind it and won’t be connected to the first account. Not positive about this part, I seem to remember them saying it way back when I bought the game, that the numbers are there to separate Resurrected.4132 from Resurrected.2314 (for example).

Okay, thanks for that. I’ll just see if any other answers come in.
You can not link two Guild Wars 2 accounts. You can only link an original Guild Wars account, to one Guild Wars 2 account.

Thank you. I’ll create a new account
Not quite sure what other answer you are expecting to get. What you want is impossible. You need to have 2 accounts to be on 2 different servers. End of story.
This is stupid, I was about to create a new account but I cannot as I am already using the email address on this account!!!
Do Anet actually want to make money from this game?
As the email address associated with a game account is the Account Name, you need a unique one for each account. For identifying accounts and account security. Make sure you use an email address never used anywhere before.
The email is part of the login, it’s the account name.. Get another email if that is holding you up now.

Security.
If you have multiple accounts on the same email you would:
1: Be unable to know which account is getting signed into, since you are using the email to login.
2: Lose access to both of your accounts if someone compromised your email account.

You act like it’s hard to create another email account, especially when you would be using it solely for GW2.

As explained in the thread, you cannot link two GW2 accounts and cannot reuse the log-in names.

Correct.

And correct again.
It’s not a difficult process, and having separate log-in names (Account Names) is in your own best interests, as you can see.
