Un-save credit card
No there is no way to unsave it.
However if you are a Visa card user, you can call your bank and inform them that NCsoft has illegally retained your CVV2 code and that you wish to ensure that
no further transactions take place between (the recipient of your previous game purchase) NCsoft and your accounts.
Because Visa demands the following:
Mechants who require the CVV2 for “card not present” transactions are forbidden by Visa from storing the CVV2 once the individual transaction is authorized and completed.
You can effectively request your bank to secure your CC details from any other gemshop purchases. – This is ofcourse an issue if you do want to purchase gems in the future. But with all the accounts that have been compromised and no way for us to remove our credit card information once it has been stored I highly advice against leaving it there without taking action against abuse.
Remember that once the card details are stored, the next purchase will not even prompt your 3 digit CVV2 code, which is highly irregular, and at the very minimum when the customer isnt able to remove the information himself, also questionable behaviour.
I have written Exploits@arena.net because I think this is a security risk.
Untill they can add an option to “unsave” the CC information they should not let people store it to begin with, especially since people who had their accounts abused, had on several occasions already stored their credit card information, and when no CVV2 code is requested on the next purchase, and when you cant remove the cc details even if you fear your account is compromised, you’re completely fubared.
So call your bank and secure it yourself. And boggle your mind at this unessecary security risk on NCsofts end.

You can also clog up support to have them remove your information I am sure. But that means you probably have a long time to wait for them to respond as they are really busy at present.

That’s a bit quick on your part, and I really don’t think “Disgusting” means what you think it means.
Give them time and I’m sure they’ll work with you on it.
All due respect Freyar when a company keeps your details on an account with no option to remove it, they are going against the Data Protection Act right away, then if your account gets hacked, they can mass buy diamonds, change the diamonds for gold and sell the gold for money.
There SHOULD be an option to remove that data, it is law for it to be there.

This is the most basic functionality to expect from a data driven system… CRUD.. Create, Read, Update, Delete…
This is the Gold standard for data manipulation, and should most definitely be applied to financial information.
You say that I was premature? I had an attempted access from China, which is what prompted me to remove me details. This is not premature.. Anything but.
Disgusting only BEGINS to describe this unlawful practice.
So wind your neck in. Oh and when I form words into sentences, I am entirely aware of exactly what I mean.
