Only way to find out if you can get it back is by filing a ticket with support.
Pretty sure that you can’t buy more bank slots if you’ve already reached the maximum… Unless you’re talking about bag slots for a character? (Besides, isn’t it 800 gems for a bank slot anyway?)

Nope, 600 gems for a bank slot, 400 for a bag slot.
Anyway, I recommend sending a support ticket at https://en.support.guildwars2.com/ at Ask a Question under Refunds category.
Although normally they don’t really do refunds for gems afaik, I feel this one should pass as it is not really made clear how much bank slots can you have.
I feel the system should simply not allow you to buy any more once you are full, there is really no reson to do that. It only creates issues like this one.

Every time I extend my bank I click the small locker icon IN MY BANK. One day I unlocked and the locker was gone. That’s when I realized I had unlocked all slots.
But don’t despair. 8 Bank slots are not enough for hardcore players. Pretty sure It will expand even further with the next expansions.

Is anyone know that it could be possible to REFUND MY GEMS?
The reason I would like to do that is this….. -> I bought a bank slot for 600 gems, and unfortunately I didn’t realize that I can’t have more (I thought I can have +2 more, but I was wrong)…
So is it possible to get my gems back and buy something else? (I changed my golds to gems and it wasn’t an easy job, especially because I am not a gold farmer)P.S.: sorry if a similar topic has been started earlier…
