There’s a bug with armor skins on human females, I don’t know if it’s the same on other races but one such example is the Profane armor skin set from the gem store, it discolors the torso significantly and also part of the abdomen is missing (the midriff area) I’ve also seen bugs with cultural armor (human) on female characters too.

A second picture example, starts at the neck just using a chest piece for an example. I’ll try to get images of other sets if needed, although hopefully ArenaNet already has these issues being fixed or investigated..?

I was also disappointed with the Profane armor and how it discolors dyes. I previewed a Midnight Ice dye on that armor set (a very deep, dark blue-black shade), and it turned to a medium grey on this armor. Deep reds go very light and orange-ish, too. VERY disappointing, especially for an armor set that I paid gems for. I’m hoping that this is just some kind of texture/dye bug, and not an intended aspect of the armor skin?

The discolorations are a bug that came in the patch the other night, not the last one but the one before it. It was working as intended before that. The patch got rid of part of the abdomen midriff (not sure if that was intentional or not, I don’t really care about that so much, though) but the discoloration making torso’s gray/dark and stuff is horrible. Other armor skins also have weird bugs now, like cultural and faction/order gear on human females too.

The Midnight Ice Dye is the one I have on my actual set in the pictures for the leathery looking part w/straps & the royal purple or something for the other part. I know it’s probably not the best picture to display that but I took the screens exclusively to show where the discoloration happens starting at the neck etc lol.

I just noticed this bug too on my character when I was trying out new colors for my profane set. As seen in the attached image my torso’s skin color looks significantly darker from my character’s facial and leg skin color.

Bought the set yesterday evening and I don’t think the skin color had this bug back then.

Glad to see other people are taking notice and posting on it too, I’ve seen people mention it in chat before but I don’t think many people bother to post on the bug forum. I also sent a couple of other examples via the bug report thing in game for other armor sets and I’ll upload screenshots when I get the chance. I wonder if non-human female models have the same issue? Like Sylvari, and Norn etc or if it’s human specific.

I wonder too. I don’t even know if the armor skin even looks the same on those races though (unlikely) but if they don’t I suspect it’s human specific.

So far it hasn’t happend on my Sylvari, so it looks like it’s just the humans.

I play a Human Female Necromancer. The Winged Armor set also has the problem of a gap in the midsection.

Any information when we can expect a patch for this bug?
