I have to say that it’s also a little odd that they haven’t merged those two identical threads yet. They’ve been the top two for at least two days now and no moderator manipulation.
A couple days ago I made a thread concerning the blue Knight resetting to full health as a bug, not seeing that there was already a thread about this. My thread was merged with the existing one within 10 minutes of posting it.
I’m starting to think for some reason the forums aren’t being moderated at the moment. The lack of reply and action from ArenaNet these last couple days are starting to be worrisome. I hope everyone’s alright over there.
I live pretty close to ArenaNet headquarters so maybe I’ll swing by and make sure they are o.k. If everyone’s been out sick I’d be happy to bring over some chicken noodle soup and a box of tissues.

If they merge the threads they “acknowledge” the issue….
My favorite is a 3rd or 4th thread that was created where the moderator refers them to another thread, but none of them have commented on the other threads…
What makes that even better, is I know for a fact I saw that thread a few hours ago, and its gone now….

My guess is they want to wait until they know what’s causing the bug before talking about it. It’s like the 3rd bug in a row for just one update. They’re starting to look bad.
A few words like “we are looking into it” seem to be too much for them, great communication skills these Anet people have.

Just finished yet another round of fights with no chests. Didn’t even bother going into the final hologram boss fight.
I’ve done the event solo with all gold participation and grouped, all gold participation, no chests at all. Anet you need to at least post that you are aware of the issue considering the amount of threads created and people that are being left out.
I know that Anet has a large team, and everyone has their own specific tasks to do…and this problem may be being solved as I type this…but,
Does anyone else feel moderately annoyed, or even insulted, that there has been Three Dev posts about the fake Twitter accounts, and not a Single post about this?
I see they are busy responding to everything but the major bugs with their season ending event. Maybe there will be a chest drop booster for 800 gems soon
Maybe whoever runs the Bug Forum works later in the day, or called in sick…they certainly aren’t getting much out of the game if they played hookie to get any loot from this event >.>
Players need to be compensated for their time and effort and the fact that the legendary knights are not dropping anything is increasingly frustrating. As a player who is not able to play the game much when I do find the time I want it to be an enjoyable experience where I might get some good loot. You have had time to fix these bugs yet they continue to persist after numerous updates. Please compensate us for wasted time.

I wanted to take an oportunity to ask ANet directly if the Legendary Assault Knights are working as designed when it came to loot, and this is all a misunderstanding by the entire player base.
Which is the correct statement:
Legendary Assault Knights will drop 5 Deluxe Gear Boxes for each player participating in the event and a chance at an Assault Knight Power Core, which can be used to color the Tempered Spinal Blades back item.

I think the statement is just misunderstood by the entire player base, and that the 2nd option is correct.

Yeah, I know people usually don’t like multiple threads about the same thing, but as far as I’m concerned this whole forum can fill up with posts about the chest bug until either it is acknowledged or fixed. They have time to post about Twitter.
Amen. I posted in another thread that I felt a bit annoyed, and even mildly insulted that they can post 5 times about a twitter account, and cant even give us a canned “This is being looked into” line.
On a note more direct to the thread. How is the second option far too anyone? There’s at least 150 people fighting the knights. That mean 6 of those people get loot for an event that takes at minimum 50 to complete. That’s a 1.2% chance to get something.

I really gave it a while before I began posting here, because there were so many threads on this…but each hour that goes by, Half the possible loot for the event is lost, and 3/4 of your shots are Cores are just…gone. When they started debunking Twitter accounts is when I got annoyed enough to start posting opinions in every one of these threads.
This is an honest question that I think is just a huge misunderstanding by everyone who is participating in the events….
It isn’t like ANet to totally break something, like loot…
I mean they havent done anything like this before… Like when they tried to stop silk farming in 1 zone, they didnt cause entire other zones to stop responding mobs…
And even tongue in cheek, there are some people who think this is a misunderstanding and not a bug…well, why did the Knights drop loot before patch, and even get a message in the patch notes about their loot specifically, and then patch hits…BAM, not one single person I have spoken with has gotten a single drop.
I could understand if it was an issue that took some doing. I could even understand if it was Intended as a change and the change did not make patch notes. There would be an uproar….but to just say Nothing….it is disappointing.
People who have been posting about the on-going Teq bugs, Wurm Bugs, 100% map completion bugs, necro minion bugs, etc, etc. have all asked the same questions. Can we get fixes, answers, retroactive compensation for stuff we earned and were supposed to get and we’ve all been given either no answers, frustrating side-stepping, delay tactics or apologies that seem vague at best. I hate to say it that way, but it just comes off as insincere at this point.
A canned “This issue, whether it exists or not, is being looked at” would at least be Something, even if it was a blatant lie, lol. And yeah, being a Necro, I know EXACTLY what you mean.

Your math doesnt make sense… 1.2% would be if 500 people were perticipating….
I expect the percent to be around 5% chance….
If you look at chances of getting alot of different things, from percursors from the Mystic Forge, or Charged Lodestones from bags, 5% is a nice number.
Anet would be in a far better position if they at least acknowledged that there is the issue, especially with so many bug reports and threads on various forums. Players instead think that Anet is hiding or refusing to admit there is an issue. Even it isn’t true, it’s still damaging to their reputation and overall bad PR.
His math is neither here nor there. Every other mob in the game drops their loot individually for each player involved, there would be no reason to make the champion boxes doled out in that manner, especially when you can get 3x as many from FGS and 2x as many from QD.
I was able to get some reward from defeating these Legendary Assault Knights in Lion’s Arch yesterday but today when I did it there is not even a single reward. No power cores and No chests. Just nothing. Even I get the gold medal for participating the event and event succeeded. It was fine yesterday before today’s patch. A patch is supposed to fix the bugs in the game but why it seems to create more problem for the game? Does it means that it is intended to be no rewards or it is really rare to get even those 5 Deluxe Gear Boxes by defeating them? I think it is not fair at all, since I stay in Lion’s Arch doing the event, till the Legendary Assault Knight is up and then I get nothing from defeating it just because after today’s patch. I need an explanation for this matter.
