A lot of skills fixed aftercast. But many autoattacks are still long delays autocast.

Bounce projectile
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Trick_Shot
Activation time ¼. But Attack speed 1 arrow/sec. Same speed as longbow (Activation time ¾)
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ricochet – same bug

1 shot/sec normal speed for bounce projectile, but single target damage less than ranger’s bear.
No need to increase the speed of the shot. Just add another blow to a single target as Mirror Blade. (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mirror_Blade)
Same with http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dancing_Dagger, because off hand dagger underpowered.

Vital Shot
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Vital_Shot
Less range/damage/bleed than Bleeding Shot, but same shot recharge.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bleeding_Shot

Melee chain.
d/x long aftercast after Lotus Strike(http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Lotus_Strike)
s/x long aftercast after Crippling Strike(http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Crippling_Strike)

This is easily seen visually. You can also compare the example of the sword.
Larcenous Strike animation is the same as that of Crippling Strike. Just compare:
111 111 111 111
and
11 3 11 3 11 3 11 3
Animation is the same, but there is a long delay after Crippling Strike.

I think there are still many professions have similar bugs.

I will do my best to show visibility in each thread but I just wanted to toss out this thread to express how useful bug reporting can be after a major balance drop like we just had.

Up.

Yeah, something is obviously not right with some of the aftercast delays on some skills, especially ranged autos on some weapons like Pistols and Longbows (recently fixed on Ranger but left alone on Warrior). Vital Shot is substantially weaker than Bleeding Shot because it’s clearly supposed to fire faster but actually doesn’t (not significantly so anyway). Vital Shot’s weakness forces an over-reliance on Unload for DPS which screws up P/P’s mobility and utility massively. Most people don’t realize it, but that’s the main reason P/P feels very clumsy and weak in comparison to other sets and is complained about a lot. Engi Pistol is pretty much unanimously considered the weakest MH weapon in the game, for mostly the same reason – the autoattack is tuned to fire too slowly for its damage specs.

It’s also why Longbows felt incredibly gimpy on Rangers until they were upgraded in a recent patch and the aftercast on Long Range Shot was reduced by a full .25 seconds (resulting in a roughly 20% sustained damage buff). The warrior’s LB auto remains pathetically weak because it didn’t get the same firing speed buff like it should have.

If this doesn’t actually qualify as a ‘bug’ per se, it’s definitely on the same level as it’s a major balance issue affecting weapons on most professions and has been in place since launch except on the Ranger’s LB/SB.
