Keep this thread topped as much as we can. Something like this gets easily forgotten and can end up being a year before it’s fixed. I doubt they will address it before the new year (everyone will be on holiday the next 2 weeks), but come Jan 1st let’s make sure they remember.

I would like change my armor to this stat already to compensate the nerf to food shame it is still bugged.

Someone in the Upcoming Balance Changes: Week of December 14, 2015 thread commented that Trailblazer doesn’t work in the MF by design. I wanted to hug that person. Around the neck. With a rope. Why would 1 out of 6 of the new prefixes not work?

Why would viper work, which has a way bigger impact on wvw/pve, but not trailblazers? Doesnt make any sense at all. Its not THAT good.

Hah, Anet could use this as a good excuse for all the bugs happening after HoT

what the hell is this true?, where was the warning, why were we not told, why only these stats, how does this impact on balancing, why does it impact on balancing, why were we not told this sooner after waiting for so long after not being told at all just to be left hanging, did the balancing team think that not telling people these things was a good idea and that we would not be kittened off?. Black Desert is starting to look better and better as the days go on, specially since my endgame WvW isn’t doing all that well right now either.

I’ve been sitting on my 6 exotic inscriptions and 6 anthology of heros for over a month now in the hopes that one day this will work. In addition to the six upgrade extractors I wasted the first time I tried unsuccessfully to forge switch the armor. It’s good Anet is aware and they are looking into this, but in the meantime, that last part I mentioned (6 UPGRADE EXTRACTORS)! A lot money/currencies, a lot of material goes into this process in the first place, and switching stats has been ingrained in our heads with the new system, requiring even more money and materials for an end result that SHOULD work. How long should we nervously waste upgrade extractors or other materials before we’re given the opportunity to test this stat combo?

But people, why all the panic?? They are AWARE of the issue! They said it on official forum (reddit). I’m sure it’s just a matter of time when it gets pushed into live version. 2017, 2018, 2019… Any year now!

We should post yet another complaint on reddit about how badly Anet are treating their customers. This among other issues which are not even being acknowledged are unacceptable, and are worthy of complaint. The more we shed light on this and other issues, the more pressure the company will feel to remedy them. It’s past being entitled to something, this is just bad business and customer relations.

Would be nice to see this fixed soon, especially with the crazy price of Maguuma Lilys…

I usually purchase gems with real money often, mostly for fashion and any new hair styles etc etc, but until I hear some sort of real response to this issue im not spending another cent, and even then im abit iffy now about supporting the gemstore, seems that’s all they care about these days.

This is probably the best method of protest, although it is very sad that we have to resort to doing so. We all love this game, but the company is driving us away from it.

Adding my name to the list of souls waiting for this bloody thing to get fixed. Would be nice if we could get an official comment in the thread too. But hey, that’s asking too much I guess.

I demand an answer in these official forums, I purchased a product and it is faulty and we have had no customer service, if this were any other product other than a game ide either have a refund by now or contacted consumer protection. How much more direct do we have to be to even get a peep out of thee people.

We can forge all the OTHER new stat sets? Why just this one?

All make a support ticket not just in-game, but through a formal submission on this website as well. Be loud.

Could we please get an official comment on this? Is this intended/bug? If it is a bug, can we expect a fix in the near future? Something along those lines so we can either hold on to it or craft an ascended set if a fix isn’t on the horizon. Thank you

Don’t count on that. I sent them a support ticket and they said send in game bug reports and post on forums. They were very adamant on not wanting me to send more support tickets.

Ticket title: Unable to progress my character
Problem description: "Trailblazer’s intricate gossamer insignia. It’s not usable in mystic forge like all other new insignias are. It’s been 2 months since release of the game. It’s unacceptable that such easily fixed bug is still present in the game and it was never addressed on official forum. There is 3 page long topic on it and not a single answer from Anet team. I wasted time and resources making these insignias and now they are useless sitting in my bags. Meanwhile I had to make different armor and again spend my time and resources. Will I get compensation for spending more than 150 total gold on changing my armor back when this finally gets a fix? Will this be finally acknowledged on official forum?

I expect an answer to this support ticket and this is a huge problem not only for me, but for many people in game atm."

I’m sorry you’re having such an issue with this :l What I can do at this point in time is switch them out for you for insignia’s that will work in the mystic forge. If you would like to do that just let me know and we can get moving on that for you

If I made even more fuss about it I guess I could have even got some gold in exchange. But is this really the way to deal with such stupid little (probably very easily fixable) bug that’s posing a major inconvenience for many people?

I don’t need this insignia. I moved on, made Viper’s gear and I’m actually pretty happy with it. I did lose gold, however I change gear pretty often to experiment with it so it’s not even a big deal for me. But I probably proved some point.

Just 1 single person that is working half-time on keeping people in the loop here on forum. That’s all it takes, and stupid over-exaggerating tickets like mine wouldn’t happen.

It has been a month with no response to this issue on the official forums. Players are becoming extremely upset, and feel like the developers are ignoring the community. Trailblazer’s Insignia and Inscription cannot be placed in the Mystic Forge. Apparently all that needs to be done is to add a script to the game. From a customer’s perspective that is unacceptable, any patience the community has is far gone. If nothing else the development team needs to be urged to fix this now, or make an official statement on the official thread about the issue, and be sure to write back constructively instead of ignoring it completely."

Response:

“I understand why you are frustrated and I am sorry. However there is nothing customer support can do about changing the scripts in the game or fixing bugs. I do know however that the dev to know about the bug and are currently working on it. As of now, there is not an update but I have contacted the dev team and let them know about it just in case. Again I am sorry but I would just be patient. =/”

Clearly the “development team” is out of sync with the support team.

I did all the grinding that you wanted to get the trailblazer’s Gossamer insignia. Just to find out it doesn’t work in the mystic forge. I also found out the Anet knew over a month ago. I now have 6 Insignia’s I might as well throw out because you can not use them in the mystic Toilet! I didn’t want to be forced to grind to get this in the first place. I don’t want to grind for wanderer’s or commander’s either. PVE completely blows and you are sucking the life out of my soul. Please gIve me a way to get these items and make it possible for them not to be broken when I get them. I pay for this game and I am being forced to do things I hate in order to aquire the stats I want. If you are going to make me go through hell the least you could do is allow it to work.
The fact that this hasn’t been addressed in a month let’s me know Anet does not care.

Haha, just wait til you decide that you want Sinister Trinkets for a build; they locked those behind Living Season 2 Achievements! It’s actually impossible to solo them, and there is no other way in the entire game to get them!!!

Incorrect. Only one ascended select-a-stat amulet is unlockable via achievements. The achievement are not impossible to solo, it would just take you a very long time to solo a few of them. Exotics of all trinkets can be crafted. Other ascended select-a-stat trinkets are only available from RNG drops from raid bosses.

Can you provide links to any Ascended Sinister Trinkets that can be purchased without finishing the Achievements? Wiki says that ALL of the Ascended Sinister Trinkets are locked behind the Living Story, and even if you drag yourself all the way through the story, you only get 1 Amulet and 1 Ring (can’t wear the same ring twice), & those aren’t even rewards, they’re just unlocked at the vendor finally. If you’re not interested in doing a very old Living Story path, then you are completely locked out of trying to get a full set of Ascended Sinister gear.

Also, if you could link a video here of someone soloing ALL of the Living Story 2 Achievements, it would be very helpful, as I’d love to see how they did it. Since you’re so insistent that people can solo them, I’m sure that a video of the entire thing must exist. I just can’t seem to find it anywhere, and have been unable to solo the Achievements myself, nor have I met anyone who has soloed all of them.

Ahh my mistake, I was thinking of the viper trinkets and HoT living story achievemnts because they are superior. Sinister is yes locked behind achievements. And the old living world achievement I never recall needing help to complete them. I was thinking of the mordremoth extrememode achievement for HoT. I just didn’t pay attention to you mentioning Sinister or old living world cuz viper is so superior.

Legitimately being driven away from GW2. This is simply one issue in a pile of kitten Anet needs to fix. No more patience, no more sympathy. A kind kitten you too.
