Veteran Risen Spectral Guard [Skill Challenge] lvl 74,

Unfortunetaly it doesn’t work… can’t use it.

It is also bugged on Gate of Madness server. Please fix.

I went there today on Jade Quarry and was pretty upset I couldn’t get it. Then someone mentioned a Guardian with a staff could fix it – one did show up, used the skill 3-4 times, and it knocked the allied spectral enemy down, and he ended up pathing back to where one could talk to him again. After that, the skill point worked as intended once more. So, there you go. Fix is have a guardian use staff skills on him (it was the wall, not sure what).

i have a skill challenge bug 2.. in Blackroot Cut the lv 16 challenge… i beat the veteran boss when i interact with the artifact i have the option leave….maybe i didnt do something…really dont know…sorry for my bad english:)

Piken Square Server, This skill point is also bugged. Please Fix!!.

Bugged on Tarnished Coast.

Skill challenge bugged in Iron Marches at Carnifex (sp?) Lake in the northwest of the zone. I’ve completed everything else except this one nagging little item – reminds me of when that skill challenge in Plains of Ashford was bugged in the first few days of the game.

This Skill’s been bugged for the past several days on the Sea of Sorrows server.

It’s probably bugged on all servers.
I’ve heard rumors of some sort of trick to get him unstuck involving either a Guardian or Elementalist skill. Don’t know the specifics though.
Ask in chat, someone ought to know.

Apparently a Staff Guardian’s skill can debug it. Not sure what one, however..

Using the guardian “Line of Warding”(5) staff skill on him (where he is standing) will make him move to where he should be.

This skillpoint is often bugged indeed, i found out that Guardian’s staff skill “Line of Warding” can unbug it by casting it on the veteran. It might not work instantly but after 3 tries it worked for me.

I was able to knock it over, basically from what I can tell, you use guardian skill 5 on the staff, place the shield image (its on the ‘line’ that you aim it with) inside the aggro circle and it should budge after a few tries.

The skill challenge “Ancient Shark Pistrix” in Sparkfly Fen isn’t working. The sharks are just swimming around, marked as friendly (green).

On Ring of Fire server is bugged too.

I can confirme that a guardian with a staff can repair the npc with hist 5th skill. Untill this bug is fixed just find yourself a guardian on map chat or guild chat.

I don’t believe the guardian had anything to do with it.

I had to stand in front of it, only there could i get the [F] talk to the npc to start the challenge.

Can confirm the Guardian with a staff can fix these skill challenges (or at least the one in OP). It took them at least 8 or so attempts before they worked out where to aim though, so make sure they don’t give up if it doesn’t work the first few times.

It rebugs when someone knocks it back anywhere near the edge of the roof, and as such is incredibly easy to bug due to where it spawns.

The skill point in southwest of the map doesnt allow me to interact with it so I cant get the skillpoint.

There was a workaround that helped me get this skillpoint when it was bugged. You needed a warrior or a guardian (I can’t remember which, there were a few of both there) to cast a spell on him (an AoE line spell) and he will then be agro’d on the player.

It was a while a go that I got this, so I can’t really remember too much of it, but I hope it helps somewhat until they fix it.

Got the same bug last night, but he wouldn’t aggo, no matter what, and he was a green npc, however we could not interact with him.
I cried a lot since I were missing 1 skill point to my mystic weapon QQ, and it was too late in the night to go and look for it in other maps

Confirmed. The Guardian skill is Line of Warding, it’s the 5th skill of the Guardian uses with a staff. How I know this? I am one and I have fixed it for people… Twice.

I can confirm that this has been broken on Devona’s Rest for at least the last two days.

Currently sitting on it and asking in /map if there’s a guardian handy. No luck so far…

Server: Storm bluff Isle
Kessex Hills: “ol’ stinky” skill point is bugged. Cant interact with it.
Sparkfly Fen: Shark Skill point is bugged. Shark appears as friendly and you cant attack.
Timberline falls: At the guilty tears area the skill point behind the inquest gate is unobtainable due to gates not being open due to the event prior to it being bugged.
Timberline falls: The event at Rankor ruins is bugged and area is constantly contested.

There are more but cant think of them off the top of my head. Please fix /sadface
