I don’t know if this was caused by tuesday’s patch or one of the more recent hotfix, but the incinerator golem Zojja ask us to kill doesn’t spawn during ‘A Sparkling rescue’. The mission cannot be completed.

Last week the golem was there from the start, friendly and behind the glass where he’s supposed to be.

I filed a bug report in game, but couldn’t find a Personnal story sub-category, so I figured i’d post here as well.

There is no Experimental Inquest Incinerator Golem to kill after rescuing Zojji.

The quest is called A Sparkling Rescue, but the same bug happened to me. After rescuing Zojja the golem should spawn, but it never does.

Same issue here. I get to the part where I am supposed to destroy to golem, but it never spawns. =(

Same here, attempted the story 4 times last night and failed to complete as the Experimental Golem never showed up, I see there are glitches in the sylvari level 10 story as well.

I’m also having this issue. Others at the quest entry point are saying the same.

I’m also having this issue. I reported it as a NPC issue in game. While it’s very frustrating, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one having problems with it.

I am also having this issue. Just now sent a request to resolve it. Hopefully they fix it soon

when is this gonna be fixed? ive jumped on the story like 4-5 times and the incinerator golem doesn’t pop up.

Same, submitted ticket a couple days ago but no response. Anyone gotten an ETA?

I have been having this issue since shortly after the update on Tuesday. I had hoped it would be fixed by now but I guess Level 10 stories aren’t high on the priority list. I have a charecter half way through her level 70 but I refuse to proceed until I know for sure all story bugs are fixed. Doing a level 10 a few times is nothing compared to a level 70.

I’m having the same issue along with a buddy of mine also. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Also experiencing this issue. Haven’t seen any problems so far with other missions for other races, but this one is kind of annoying.

Yeah I am having the same issue and have since last night. Tried quite a few times but no luck. Logged out logged in and nothing. This is a big issue as it is a main mission for one of the 4 factions completely halting story progression… This needs to be fixed quick before it would be more of a chore to go back and do the story missions…

Seems that the main story mission “A Sparkling Rescue” is still glitched despite the recent build. The Incinerator Golem won’t spawn at the start of the mission or after finding Zojja and being required to slay it thus halting progression.

Has anyone gotten a response from arenanet about this? I sent the report yesterday and haven’t gotten word from them.

I am very unsatisfied. I hope other races don’t have those kind of glitches, I just have low level characters :s

Unfortunately I’ve seen a few other races report problems with their stories.

I’m having an issue with the level 20 Charr story ‘Seeking the Truth’

Hope it gets fixed because I want to move on to my order selection…

It’s unfortunate to see that even after two days and multiple individual reports(spread across several posts, no less) that we can’t even get an acknowledgement that it’s being looked into. I, too, have submitted a bug report but that form tells you out-right that they won’t respond. I came here hoping to at least learn confirmation that they were aware of it. No luck.

For many of us this is a game-breaking bug. I, too, was having a great time on my Asura…now I feel no interest in playing the game at all.

Support is aware of this and similar problems. But yeah, official post on this forum would have calmed frustration a bit.

I just send a report both in the game and on this web page. I hope they get this fixed

Same bug the golem is not there so annoying probably the last build buged it Don’t hold your breath everquest next hurry up and come out……

hmm and now they actually released 2 new builds and this is still not being fixed, just tried riight now again and nope still bugged for me…

They gave us a update already if you’d learn to search the forum instead of creating multiple threads of the same issue people are having (including myself.) But here is the link the the thread that they replied to telling us they are working on trying to fix it.

This is getting ridiculous that a fix to something so integral to getting players into the game seems to have a lower priority than more recent additions. How many builds have we gone through since they broke the storyline on Tuesday? Six? Please give us an ETA on this as I have no interest in playing your game or recommending to others until you can get the basics sorted.

Kinda sucks I just got back into the game made a new character and now I cant advance the story. Another random event that involved saving researchers didn’t work for me either couldn’t see them but I could hear them oh well I’ll just wait and keep working my crafting skills until its fixed

I was about to delete my character. That would’ve been a waste of an experience scroll.

been stuck for 4 days now starting to get a bit annoyed at lack of any kind of progression or update from ANet about this issue. All my personal stories are on hold across 4 characters because I have no idea if I will be able to actually complete them. Charr Level 20, Norn level 20, Human Revenant level 70 and a friend couldn’t do her Asura level 20 either. From what I’m reading it seems this isn’t just level 10 stories being affected.

As of just 1/2 hr before reset it is STILL broken.

A free to play person was complaining that they could not do the first story (level 10) and they also could not post on the forum. So here I am posting it for them. I wish I could give them an experience scroll so they could at least do their first world boss fight. I just told them to explore and level that way and that story sucks until later anyway due to it being so split up til 80.

Because of this they recently decided to go back to WoW free to play instead as at least there they can play til 20 for free. I told them they can still do hearts. They were not impressed.

Still not fixed.
