Guild Wars 2

I downloaded the new patch getting ready for the expansion. It deleted my password and I have attempted a total of 4 times to reset it. It obviously allows me to access my account on the website (or I wouldn’t be able to post this) but I cannot get into the game at all. It keeps telling me I need to recover my account and then I go into this endless cycle of creating a new password that only seems to work for my account but not access to my games. Anyone else having this issue? Yes, I have submitted a ticket, but I hate doing things through email. Should have direct access to someone on the phone. I should not have to wait for forever to get a response from someone to access a game I paid for.

This is likely related to the massive data centre outage which has kept things offline in EU and some of NA for most of the day. I would wait until this is fully fixed before going through the process (it’s doing it for me as well)

You do know that the game is down for eu players and some na ones aswell?

I am NA player. My husband and son can log in, so ya this makes it worse. And regardless, they need better contact for technical issues. I attempted again today, just now and I still have logging in issues.
