Guild Wars 2

So before last night I was on the alt doing MaW when I noticed I was getting about 50xp(compared to 1200+ I should be getting) per event. I figured I had hit DR or whatever so I logged and went to bed. Well 14 hours later and I’m still getting 50xp per event I do even when I change zones and all. Anychance I can get my character unbugged? It’ll take me about 3 years at this pace to reach 80……..

So I haven’t played this character since yesterday when I made this post. I just logged on and I still have DR. Only thing I’ve done today was kill a dragon on another character(never received a chest for the dragon kill). As far as I can tell I have been unable to get loot since sometime yesterday……..

Edit: Oh and I’d just like to point out that a few others in the area were also complaining about recieving nothing while having no reason to have DR.

Just gave it another try and nothing but DR xp/loot/etc

I`d write a support ticket if I were you. I went through the whole month of DR then wrote to support and had DR lifted off of me (they never wrote back, but DR was gone). It would only help for a while though, DR will return some time after, but you`ll have a bit of time to level up.

I had thought the patch fixed it cause I started getting xp and all again. I just logged on though after not playing for 12+ hours and I have DR for some reason. I went to another zone across the world and I have it there also. Between not getting chests at dragons and having some sort of permanent DR on my other characters I haven’t been able to play much at all since patch. I really hope both these issues are addressed in a hotfix very soon so I can play again.

According to Anet posting they can find nothing wrong with the loot issue.

Mine feels like its been hit with this as well. I don’t deserve DR. I’m not a bot.

Any loot I get from killing stuff is loot earned as far as I am concerned.

If there has to be grind in this game, they should at least let us get rewards for our grinding without DR. We HAVE to grind in some method to get the gold required to do alot of end game stuff.

1. DR makes grinding high level stuff harder.
2. price goes up due to dr, making more grinding necessary.
3. they make the grind already difficult to begin with without DR.

It all adds up to an insurmountable wall that chips away at your sanity.
