On the flip side, you get a free T1 cultural chest armor and a free faction weapon now.

For the Inconsistencies list:

This is because there are no skins for those weapons in that set. It’s incomplete. The only existing skin that is missing from that vendor is the Guild Speargun.

That one is a little weird. There are shields from two different sets, plus the exotic shield that also shows your guild logo. Overall, I don’t think there’s anything there that needs fixed. :/

they are available. I didn’t have them unlocked, but after unlocking the new The Hunter skin, it unlocked the old one at the same time. I assume this is the same for Rodgort’s Flame

I’m not really in a position to verify that I’d heard it was a problem. Then I verified there were new precursor items and that my RF got converted over.

One of the methods for obtaining old skins was supposed to be Pact Commander mastery opening up vendors. Players are reporting them as placed, scattered around the world. Keep an eye out.

These look different from what we had before.

I discovered that all the old precursor skins have been readded as Perfected Weapons. These must be salvaged in the process of making the precursors.

This might take them out of the inheritance chain, since they aren’t being directly incorporated into forging the precursor. Meaning if you had a precursor before HoT and decide to bind it now, you might not get the old precursor skin.

like I said in my last post. I had The Hunter, this was before the update, but I had not accountbound it, or unlocked the skin. after the HoT patch hit, I checked The Hunter in my bank. obviously it had the new skin. I decided to unlock the skin anyway, so went ahead and right-clicked it and added it to the wardrobe. this unlocked The Hunter Experiment, The Hunter (original skin), and The Hunter (new skin).

Isn’t there a fourth skin too? It’d be tier 3 in this scheme (Experiment, Perfected, ?, Precursor)

(edit: apparantly I was thinking of the 4-stages in the HoT precursor collections)

not sure how the crafted precursor works, maybe the experiment skin is used for both tier 1 and 2, unless it’s called something completely different. I haven’t gone through any of the crafted ones, but I have 2 legendaries unlocked (Quip and Incinerator), both of those only have the precursor skin and experimental version listed.

Just found that the NPC “The Fox” ( http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Fox ) added in Heart of Thorns is wearing the Stalwart Helm. Could this suggest that a dev might have looked at this asset? And maybe the full armor set is in the game now, or if it’s not, maybe it should be considering this new dude is wearing the helm?

Maybe they’ll add them to pvp leagues because they used to be pvp rewards.

Yeah, I’ll be looking into it whenever I get my mastery up. Was busy with Halloween. Thus far, wiki seems to think he’s only concerned with old ascended gear recipes.

And so far, that’s pretty much what I’m getting out of it, too. I think the missing skins are still gone ;(

Yay! I removed the scythe and the wide rim glasses from the list. I also removed all the chatcodes because most of them were no longer working

A suggestion i’ve been trying to push to A-NET has been the re-release of the old Town-clothes items, as armor skins, which I believe would make a lot more people happier in the fact they don’t need to keep around useless items and can wear something more casual than very gaudy armor.

Why Skins and not outfits? – Skins are more customisable, and you can mix and match them which gives the players the option of being more fashion forward.

The Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock has provided access to a couple of the missing PvP skins. Unfortunately, they missed a few that should have been caught.

I don’t see any of the armors that we’re tracking in it. It does, however, contain some skins that haven’t been released for more than 4 years.

I didn’t remove those skins because I don’t think the Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock is a reliable way. We still need access to those skins that are not the Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock.

I think all of them (ram, monkey and rooster) don’t unlock the rare one. ANet is pretty inconsistent when it comes to unlocking previous stages of skins. I’ll add all three of them to the list

It would appear that Marauder, Studded, and Heavy Plate armors were sneaked into the PvP reward track with the last update. Your dreams of Marauder Shoulders can be fulfilled.

I already have all the armors, only missing weapons, but I’m very happy that more skins are back Removed those three sets from the list.

Also, it was in the patch notes but I think many players missed that line

2years later and “Savant Epaulets” still aren’t compatible with “Savant Coat” on female asuras…
Please fix this!
