Hello guys. I have one question about condi dmg couse I can ’ t understand what’ s happening with it.
Mark Katzbach wrote on patch notes this :
Bug Fixes
•Updated condition damage. Previously, a condition that had a fractional remainder of time after it dealt damage would not inflict the rest of its damage. For example, a 1.5-second burn would deal 1 second of burning damage, then fail to inflict the remaining 0.5 seconds of burning. Conditions will now deal this fractional damage either at the beginning or end of their duration, depending on when the next damage pulse would occur and their remaining duration.

The question is : Does condition dmg works properly as it’ s intented..or it got boosted?
I don’ t get if that 0.5 seconds of remaining burning used to be applied in the past or not…or if it was a recent issue.
Can anyone explain me plz? XD

uhhh, its kind of simple….
basically b4 the patch a skill with burning effect of 3.5s only did 3s burn and the .5 didnt count… now it does… since you didnt understand the post above i wont try to teach you how it works now… just know the .5 of the 3.5 is actually useful now…

Its actualy not a buff and damage “IN THE LONG RUN” remains the same. Condies tick every full second – starting from the time of first applied condi.
Meaning on a lets say 3.35s burn:
-Before u always got 3x ticks and had a 35% chance to get 4th tick
-Now u will always get 3.35x worth of damage

It is completely equal, just making it consistent. A nice change.

Actually, it’s a buff for Guardian’s Virtue of Justice’s passive. It will almost always proc with it’s fraction duration missing. Now it’ll hit with what ever fraction damage modifier you have

and now add a general debuff on pve creatures so condis work there more efficient so we can finally play condis
