I’m aware I’m adding another post about this while there are several.

I just want a dev response as there has been nothing on it, despite the bug going around for weeks now.

Crab Toss Achievements were not working properly. Submitting a bug report apparently didn’t help them notice enough to say anything about it, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who did so. If 4 threads won’t get their attention, maybe one more will.

PLEASE let us know why (if possible) these weren’t working, and if you can fix them and reinstate crab toss for ANY amount of time so that those of us who were unable to get the achievements due to the bug can now get them.

The developers know it wasn’t not working, but they don’t care, since it would take away from the time they need to come up with new RNG containers. Getting more gem store cash purchases is more important than actually delivering a quality product.

Well, my post got edited by them but no response. Very disappointed in the devs on this. If they can modify the posts, how hard is it to get someone to spend a minute typing any sort of reply?

We all know crab toss got bugged for quite some days blocking achievement progress so either bring it back or give completion to everyone that did at least over 50% of the achievements (meaning they tried for it)

What of people who saw it wasn’t progressing and stopped wasting their time? ANet just needs to respond to this somehow.

Very frustrated this mini-game was removed without some sort of remedy to the progression bug.

If it wasn’t bad enough spending hours in the mini-game only to realize no progress was being made, having the mini-game removed without some sort of fix, comment, or extension is astounding. ANet has done a fantastic job in so many ways with this game that this seems like a huge oversight.

Being that the Crab Toss arena is still present in the game, might we see a return of this (soon)?

I agree Thimblerig, often ANet does such a good job responding to issues – that’s what makes this even more frustrating. If we could just get a “we are aware of the bug and are looking into it”, I, and I’m sure may others, would feel much better.

But nope, absolutely nothing. How many threads per day and bug reports do you need to get a response? I can continue posting more…

It’s not fair to remove Crab Toss from the game when the achievements have been broken for several days. I tried to finish my crab toss achievements on the 8th, 9th, and 10th because I knew Southsun would be over soon, but I couldn’t advance them. My crab carrying and grabbing achievements are stuck at over 90% completion because of this. That’s not fair. If the devs had said that Crab Toss would finish one week earlier I wouldn’t have minded, because I would plan accordingly and finish the achievements on time, but this is just mean.

I bet everything i got in-game they will just ignore this and sweep it under the rug,.
For days now they haven’t even responded with the “we are looking into it” that usually means we wont do anything but just say so to make you stop complaining.
I cant believe it was that hard to keep crab toss. It even had significantly more people than keg brawl which is a dead activity tbh

Thanks for taking your time and replying to us. I consider this an important feature to be added back to the game since it ended up being the 1st temporary content achievement that I was not able to get, and that is a huge thing for me as a completionist.

Even if it is in many months from now, I do hope to see it back! Thanks in advance.

When you make crab toss available again in the future. Can you please removed those annoying mobs in that game. It really does kill the fun factor especially for me.

But I’m having some real life issue right now, I probably can’t get back into the game when the fix get deployed =/ Is there anyway to end my gw2 fun with a perfect completed section of gw2 achievements now?

Bit of a dissapointing response… I’ve already spent the time on this activity to get the achievements, why not just update everyone who submitted a bug report so that we can get on with other aspects of the game?

hey ANet just bring it as permanent !!! stop your killing game attitude with temporary content.

Out of the two alternatives

• Leave Crab Toss arena open for now
• Take some time fixing bugs and release Crab Toss 2.0 later
  I think going with number 2 isn’t the end of the world.

This might also give ANet the chance to change stuff around based on player feedback or even implement new features, such as roster/play against friends.

I’d be pretty happy if Crab Toss 2.0 happened this way (whether or not I personally play it) and maybe then it’ll be polished enough for ANet to decide to make it a permanent addition to Tyria.

I think it would be easier to give the achievments to all that were trying. And I heard that people even got other “crab toss” achievments (crabtacular and others) doing nothing, because it was bugged at launch. It´s not fair.
