I purchased 20 bottles of Elonian wine before realizing that the price had doubled and checking the forum. Any chance at a refund?

I also purchased about ~50 bottles for Lodestone conversions and I didn’t know it had double since I had never done it before. Will there be any kind of compensation or refund?

I bought 100 of these today while I was promoting cores and didn’t notice the price. Is there any way to be reimbursed or am I just out of the money?

Any chance we can get an update on this? Im sure quite a few people other than myself would like to upgrade cores to lodes so they can finish their legendary.

Can we get an update on this, please? I’d love an answer on whether or not those of us who purchased wine will receive a refund. I’m also quite surprised that there is no in-game notification to players to hold off purchasing Elonian wine, as it is still for sale at the bugged price. I don’t imagine most players are aware that this is even an issue. Thanks.

Really pretty disgraceful that this has not been fixed yet. There should at least be a warning if you are having trouble getting a fix out on this. As we speak people are losing their money and people are anxious to find out if they will even be refunded.

I’ve bought 40 bottles before realizing that my gold goes away faster then it should. I’ve lost significant amount of hard earned cash because of this. Can someone from dev team say if there will be refund or I just lost chunk of my money because of this error.

Early after the release, you realized and item was sold with a very cheap value (by mistake) and you fixed it very quickly…
But when an item is expensive (by mistake) it takes several days.

Especially when it is required for so much material-making items. I can’t forge any lodestones for profit because of this. The timing of this with the patch that includes so much legendary/ascended/crafting/material stuff makes it very easy to put on a tinfoil hat.

It’s a single item’s cost. Put it in today’s small patch and be done with it.

Any update on this? Need a lot of this wine, and need it soon ^^.

i bought somewhere in the neightborhood of 80-85 of these. i had 285 when i started. i had no idea this happened. i decided to forge all my cores into lodes bc i thought the prices were going to tank on the day where everyone opened their boxes from saving them on event farming. i had no notice of the change in your live video or the updated page …. can we plz get a refund or something? i mean 40-42 g isnt exactly chump change :P

Tell me about it. I just got everything I need to craft Bolt today except enough gold to buy Elonian Wine at double the price.

You could count on that mistake never making it past QA. It’s funny how bugs like this get fixed instantly if it was half price, but it’ll turn out to be some impossible bug that’ll take forever to fix when nobody really wants it fixed. Apparently fixing SAB bugs takes precedence over tweaking a single value that screws up the crafting of an entire CATEGORY of endgame crafting materials. You know, the ones used for silly things like legendaries and rare, expensive skins. Stuff nobody cares about, really.

can we get any kind of dev response on this? I would really like to finish my sunrise.

I also have 200 cores to up in lodestone and I am stuck because “You may want to hold off on buying Elonian Wine until this is fixed”.

Yeah, someone said that if the price would be halfed down you would fix it as fast as you can, im feeling the same way. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game, I love Anet but this, this is ridiculous, its only price, one of the most simple things to change. One merchant, one item.
Please, fix it, im sure many of us from GW2 uniwerse are suffering from this bug – we collected cores, dust and now when we finally got it we cannot make our weapon, we cannot progress in it – and dont say it, that we can buy it for 51s – I need 100 bottles, so 51 g compared to 25-6 its a huge difference.

This will obviously be fixed before the weekend, right?

kitten wine is the last thing I need to finish Sunrise…

I wonder who is gonna be first after the patch which fixes this to run to the mf vendor, buy loads of elonian wine for 25.60 silver and fill all those buy orders on the tp for 40 silver.

Yeah, I’ll get right on that. I need to flip 330 cores so that’s 165 laurels. It’s only about 4 months worth of doing your daily/monthly every time, right?

I’m feeling like screenshotting this thread. Who know what will happen to it a couple weeks in with no fix XD

I don’t think they would give a refund for a bug like this unless the price you paid was not the same as the price being displayed on the vendor.
