If looking at sun at west get a massive JJAbrams style star trek effect.
Its cool for like a minute. but then trying to navigate west is a pain.

No I’m not trying to blind my character.

At least, it makes for great screenshots.

So is everyone having this? And there is nothing we can do about it? I went through different ingame graphics settings but it wouldn’t help. Because I just arrived in Ember Bay for the first time and I can already tell that this lens flare is gonna annoy me a lot.

I do not think this is a bug but a deliberate design choice.
