as far as I know I have all of the halloween achievements except for clocktower but i do not have the title or the achievement for emissary

I do have:

Halloween Huntin
Halloween events completed
its a mad kings world
attend the party
trick or treat bags opened
and pumpkin carving

I’ve had a similar issue. I’ve participated and completed every Halloween event shortly after they have been released, however my ‘Halloween Events Completed’ achievement still sits at 0/10, despite doing the Mad King Dungeon, multiple games of Reaper Rumble, etc. I’m hoping this will be solved so that I don’t miss out on the title due to bugs!

I’m also having this issue, stuck at 4/5.
I did not start doing events until after act 2 was rolled out, if that helps…

It glitched for me on the ToT bags achievement. I opened personalized ToT bags from Reaper’s Harvest to get to 100 and it did not update the Mad King Emissary achievement. I have since completed all of the rest of the achievements. The order I completed were as follows. All were completed after the tiers were added.

Halloween Huntin, Mad King’s Clock Tower, ToT bags opened, Halloween Events, It’s a Mad King’s World, Attend the Party

Stuck at 4/5 now. Everything else updated fine after the ToT bags

I believe that I only did the first book in Act 1, then completed everything possible by the end of Act II, and continued to keep up finishing everything when possible. Currently have credit for all achieves except for the emissary (4/5).

@mobbes.6859 that makes sense, I also got the bag achievement from harvest bags.

Same here. I mixed both kinds of Bags. But until now i should have also opened 100 normal Bags.

I am also having this issue. Yesterday I had completed all but party and was showing 3 of 5 completed achievements. Today, after party, I’m up to 4 of 5. Reading through the thread, best I can figure, I may have completed the Opening the Trick or Treat bags, or at least that was likely the first one I had completed. It’s possible it was before extra ranks were added as I had been hunting mobs and mining candy corn as much as I could early on.

Much like Ground Stop, I had been completing them on the first day they were relatively easy to complete, if that helps.

Emissary of the Mad King
Complete Halloween Huntin’, Halloween event completed, It’s a Mad King’s World, Attend the Party and Trick or Treat bags opened. Pumpkin Carving and Mad King’s Clock Tower do not count towards this achievement.

The title and all achievements we working for me all the time, but if that helps I had Huntin’ and ToTs completed before the update. Didn’t have Carvings, thou.

Well mad king is here I got a snazzy awesome hat but still no title.
Again just to reiterate like many others I’m at 4/5 but have done everything. All achievements read COMPLETE next to them.I really hope this gets fixed soon I want to buy the costumes but I want the title to go with it. Cant have one without the other !

I have the same problem. I participated at all the acts and i have everything at Special event except Halloween achievement wich is 4 out of 5. And i don’t know why.

I do remember rushing the monthly (150 candy corns) very early on, if that could have anything to do with it.

Maybe it’s not a bug and is just a matter of time until they prepare the new Build today on November 1st at 19:00 GMT ?!

I am having the same issue, I completed Halloween Hunting after act 4 as well as the Halloween events one. Have everything complete now but the pumpkin carving and the Clock tower, because i fail at jumping lol.

I have the exact same problem. I have every achievment listed under the Halloween special event, Halloween Huntin, Halloween events completed, it a mad kings world, attend the party, trick or treat bags opened, pumpkin carving and clocktower, but I do not have the “Emissary of the mad king” It says I have only completed 4 achievements.

I reported it as a bug in game.

Same. I can’t remember when I finished which achievement, I wasn’t paying that much attention to them at first. I do think that the ToT bags one might have been the first I got, though.

I very much hope they’ll fix it.

I’m not sure exactly when I got any given one, but I do know that I had completed the creature-killing one and then had to go kill an extra 50 to re-complete it after a patch. I’m experiencing this glitch as well (not getting the achievement despite filling out everything else).

I started doing event on the first day, trying to complete things for title. Stuck at 4/5 with everything else at 100%. My brother starts playing in act 3, does everything and gets title???

Completed every Achievement and still am stuck at 4/5. Kind of frustrating to be perfectly honest

Relogged in many times and switched characters. Participated in the mad king events many times in Lion’s Arch.

Yeah, me too. All Halloween special events show maxed/Completed, still at 4/5 for Emissary title.

It’s getting rather disappointing that after 4 pages of this thread there is zero recognition from the devs. Could we at least be told if it IS a bug, or if we’re missing something? Because if it isn’t a bug and we’re not told until the halloween event ends, there’s gonna be a loooot of angry players.

Had the same issue here. I was at 4/5 for the title prior to Phase 4, with all of the available achievements maxed. When I logged in in the LA plaza, I got “Attend the Party”, but no “Emmisary of the Mad King”.

Same problem here. The Trick or Treat bags achievement was the only one I completed before ACT 2.

Same problem. All achievements complete. Emissary stuck at 4.

After the patch, I checked my Special Events achievements and there it was! “Emissary of the Mad King” is completed and I have the title! Thanks ArenaNet!

Just checked mine after the patch, and it’s still not registering as complete

Still nothing for me either Maybe multiple achievements were bugged and not all got fixed? I hope that this will still get fixed for the rest of us!

Hey thenottakenname, I just realized why we weren’t getting it yet. You actually have to travel to Lion’s Arch to get the achievement completed. After you do that it should be fine!

OK when I first logged in this morning it was still not fixed. I traveled back to LA and it was then fixed…I am all good thanks.

Tested and confirmed. Travelling to LA fixes this now. Thanks to everyone involved!

I got relocated here even though my problem isn’t the one you guys seem to be having. My bug is on the “Halloween Events Completed”, I’m on Tier 2, 2/5 and it won’t go past it. I’ve done tons of Halloween events but nothing happens… Here’s a screenshot:
