just got one mid free tourny on 2nd map

This happens every day to me since at least 4 days. Sometimes it works, but only after reentering the eternal battlegrounds after you´ve queued up for it again and are lucky enough to get in.

Actual:
- enter Eternal Battlegrounds, head over to your lands keep
- find the entrance to the jumping puzzle, go through portal
- loading screen appears, circle in the right bottom corner spins infinitly

Expected:
- the jumping puzzle map should load obviously

I get the same problem from time to time when entering the jumping puzzle, hopefully someone notices this post and gives us a heads up on the issue, because it can get really frustrating queuing for hours to get into EB and then get the inifite loading screen meaning we have to quit and start all over again

Tried everything I could think of since I don’t know anyone having the same issue, it’s really frustrating not to be able to follow yours friends.

I tried reinstalling the game from scratch, didin’t helped.
Tried disabling firewall, didn’t helped.
Tried installing it on another Hard drive, didn’t worked.

Don’t have any ideas anymore.

Our entire guild had problems with this today (Sunday, 7 October 2012) at around 16:30. The loading screen stays stuck and occasionally, 2 or 3 members will actually arrive inside, or pets will go through (not the players), or the commander’s icon will appear on the map (without the commander).

This is obviously rather irritating, especially when community events are planned around this and then have dozens (if not hundreds) or players booted out of the game due to Code 1065 (disconnection due to an excessive period of player inactivity).

If there is some sort of or queue system in place, I urge ArenaNet to at least let us know – or even give us some indication of a queue. If it’s a bug, then let us know as well. It seems this has been going on ever since launch.

Bumping as well – Just happened to me today.

They still haven’t fixed this. A bit ridiculous, since it’s a known issue for a really long time… it’s happened three times to me in the last two days.

I’m re-queued waiting to play with my friends yet again because the jump puzzle loading screen froze yet again.

And when I finally get back in, I’ll yet again be alone due to the passing of time. And yet again a free kill for the campers that would have been cleared out with my group…..

Not fun.

Same here but it happens to me when trying to enter in Eternal battleground, not even in the puzzle, just the EB map, it doesn t load…

So yeah that’s it, I can’t play…stuck loading into the mists. I’ve exited, restarted, and it’s just an endless screen.

Getting the same thing in Dredgehaunt Cliffs.

So like it’s said in the title, infamous respawn loading screen in sPvP is back.

I’ve got the same problem, right now.

Got it again after this latest patch for the Lost Shores content…did a few SPvP games and that old bug from back a few patches ago where you go to the starting waypoint after death but the loading screen never leaves came back on my 4th game (Forest of Niflhel if it makes any difference). Anyone else confirm its risen again?

This is true, we suffered same issues, both sides.

Yeah I got it earlier, I just alt-f4’d and preceded logged back in and moved on…

Happened to me as well.

I started laughing when this happened to me; anet has gone full on struggle bear with some of these bugs.

As I type this, my loading screen has been stuck during a Battle of Kyhlo for about 5 minutes after dying once.

As I finish it, I am finally playing again in a new match at Raid on the Capricorn.

Probably due to toying with respawn timers ;P

But at least doesn’t happen every single respawn like before.

It’s back and worse.

Yes, happened twice in one match to my team, i am not playing pvp again until it is fixed.

Might try turning off any background streaming you have. I noticed a similar bug preventing me from getting into the Eternal Battlegrounds puzzle, and the solution was to turn off my streaming music. Once I loaded into the zone I could turn it back on.

One guildy also had problems when Mumble was turned on. Worth a shot, at least.

Yeppers, and Ele magnetic grasp freezes you for 4 seconds in air in front of target. Also RTL on new map causes you to not be able to move if u fall off bridge, so you cant even way point or anything, just a sitting little duck. (Cant dodge either) Lol

oh god, not again…already have fastweb lag…..

This is happening again for me as well, though much less frequently than last time.

Yep, im quitting pvp until this gets fixed, had to leave so many games halfway because of this stupidity :/

Same issue, my first time on the new map.

It is back. Not as bad as the first time, but I have gotten stuck on the Foefire load screen and the Khylo screen as well. Has to re log to fix the issue. Has happened in both free tourney and 5v5 hotjoin format.

Yep, it’s back. It happened to me on raid on the capricorn.

Yes, I can confirm that this has happened to me and other teammates. We won’t play paid tournaments until it is fixed.

I’m not sure if this needs to be posted to game bug section or sPvP forums.

Anyway, like the title says, I have problem to load map sometimes while the game is underway. When someone kills me and finishes me, and I press “respawn”, it gets stuck to the loading screen of the map. This doesn’t happen me every single time (couple times a day) but it is really annoying because I have to shut the whole GW2 client and login again and also might lose the possible win bonus. Also I noticed once that this happened when the game was about to end soon, and it automatically started to load the next map when the game was over and it worked again. But it sucks to wait 10-15 minutes if the game just started.
