Error activate gates of maguuma
I read somewhere, it means your internal queue is full. You’ll need to empty it to be able to activate the story. Some of it is having too many items on the trading post, so if you have anything to pick up, do that and it should help. Also, check your mail and see if you have a lot sitting and waiting and delete those as well. That should help. If I can find the link to the post, I’ll post it here, but what I suggested is what was listed on the post that I remember.

You don’t have to buy the current LS. You just need to log in, and follow the events to Dry Top.
Did you delete your mail as well? I’ve discovered some people keep everything, including the messages Anet has sent, and it can clog it as well.
I did remove some mails so i’m sure there’s space in my inbox.

There has been a longtime ‘bug’ with mail. You might try removing all of it.
I’ve seen some others that had issues with unlocking the Episode after an Account Restoration.

I cleared my entire inbox, changed maps but still nothing happened. Didn’t get a mail, nor was i able to start the living story
