Hi,

My guild have just unlocked the Arena Obstacles Coordinator, and tried to place some walls…and it’s not working. I am the guild leader so I have all permissions, and it’s still not working. Trying to use the skill 1 to place a decoration produces the error: “You have no more of this decoration.”

Please fix!! We have spent atherium on this and now are unable to do anything with it, if we’d have known about it before hand we could have used the atherium for something we can use.

Can you please fix the Arena Decorations ?
It can’t be that hard to fix it as worked fine before, i assume you just dont hot-fix it cause of low priority. I really need these for my guild’s christmas party this sunday.. pretty please

Same issue. Prior to Tuesday, December 15, 2015 game update, I was able to place decorations, traps, and toggle on/off the arena barrier.

Since the update was released, I can not place any decorations or traps nor turn off the barrier. This despite being the sole leader of my guild with all permissions active.

It’s one of the few areas in the game in which we can customize it to our needs; from build testing, to PvP with guild mates and alliance members, to creating a space for games and contests, it’s a crucial area of the guild hall.

Please restore this functionality; hopefully in time for our guild’s Christmas party this Saturday. Thank you.

This. We run weekly events in the arena as well, and need this up and running. Already had to cancel this week due to not being able to place arena decorations.

As of 9:45am, December 19th the arena barrier in my guild hall is working again. Sadly, it’s still not possible to place the decorations (traps, walls) inside. So much for the games for the Christmas party we were having

Bump! Please fix this anet! i miss messing around in the arena.

Ours is the same added a new obstacle yesterday went to place it and couldn’t had walls up so took them down and now can’t put any back. ours says the same You have no more of these. We have 250 of each. We had a guild event planned for today in it. please fix asap all theses bugs involving our Hall as a Leader I have to say are getting out of hand and it causes us problems after working so hard as a guild to build everything and wait on the ore to fill. Since the wintersday patch i have not been able to place any turrets or walls or even activate/deactivate the barrier in my guild hall arena but i am still able to remove walls and other obstacles.

same problem here, even the boundary seems to be broken; activated it a while back(when the decorations were working, too) and now it doesn’t deactivate, even if the npc says so

Same problem in our Arena. No one can place obstacles.
Also, while you are at it, how about some internal Guild ranking system for Arena fights?
That would be nice.

I can confirm this, as well. When in decorator mode, you can not select items to place down. You’re only able to use the three different sized removers.

Still not fixed. There goes 1 of our Christmas events.

Still can not place obstacles in our arena we are still getting blank 1st space and red letters you do not have enough on this item and we have 250 each of 3.

So yeah, cant place items in my arena, cant turn barrier off etc etc, ofc i have all rights as i am leader. Noticed this after completing and then trying to place – fear turrets – within the arena. Can still remove previous objects. please help

yeah, thats weird how some ppl can and others cant change the barrier status.

i cant see this being fixed for christmas, holidays and all. havnt even seen a reply post to anything about this problem. i guess most staff would be off for holidays.
Sad tho cause i know a lot of ppl wanted to use the arena for parts of guild holidays events.

Ours doesn’t turn on/off either. But i agree this will probably stick til in the new years & we had plans as well as you say since we’re well see below >_<

This is still a bug. I cannot place any obstacles in the guild arena.

Can confirm. I can’t place any of our guild’s obstacles, either. But I can remove our non-existent ones.

When you enter the arena in “build mode” you can see your skill 1 having a decoration selected ready to be planted but it nearly instantly disappears and you end up with nothing in skill 1. Something very fishy going on here.

I can confirm this. No arena decorations are placeable and I can not disable the barrier. :/

Any ETA on when we can expect a patch on this? It’s quite disappointing not being able to have arena shenanigans just yet

Not sure if the last patch was supposed to have fixed this, but it’s still happening.

Yep, still not working in our guild hall arena.

Sadly, our guild(DIE; Dragons in Exile) also can’t place a single obstacle. We’d like this fixed. Time and effort was spent on decorations, now they are useless

Going on a month now for Hall arenas and can’t place obstacles we have still. will this ever get fixed?

I have also been having the same issue. I put in a ticket for it, but so far it has not been fixed.

Im sure at this stage ANet are well aware of the issue and have only now gotten back to work hard on a variety of other issues as well. Just need to hang tight and be patient.

still can’t place guild arena obstacles tried again today and still get all of the above. Now our hall music isn’t working properly, fountains our guild scribe made that were quite expensive don’t work there is no water and extremely hard to get the guild on the same hall map. please fix these issues or at least give us some kind of response. these arena obstacle builds we all spent favor and alot of atherium and waiting time to build and can’t use them.

Been a month, still broken.

We made all the effort to make them too, and they are not working for us. Sigh

Well 23 days later this still broken. I can’t lower or raise the barrier either, curious how it worked for Kraag. Considering what we paid to unlock this arena and how useless it is for GvGs, it would sure be nice to at least be able to set it up for some fun guild games.
