Is anyone else having a problem getting the harpoon master ach? I have kill much more than 488 but it stopped counting at that number. I don’t know if it is just me but I’d like a fix. Not sure how I would report this other than here.

My Lifetime Survivor stopped counting and some other achievements I had completed rolled back to something like 166/167 – the other most famous bug is Maguuma Explorer where it gave me a completion but doesn’t count anymore. Sadly the any ones that are working are kills / weapon mastery at the moment for me.

Are you using the harpoon/spear or harpoon gun/speargun?

my harpoon master lock into 498/500

I posted this as well a day ago, here’s what I found.

1. Harpoon uses a “Spear” for its mastery. Device Type: Spear
2. “Speargun” uses a Harpoon gun for its mastery. Device Type: Harpoon Gun
Yes It’s confusing, but trust me I spent hours working it out. Especially since the title of the weapon says otherwise.
3. The kill must come from the weapon and not from a condition or a pet that I noticed. Hence why it doesn’t always update. As a Ranger I stowed my pet and tried only using the Skill 1 and it worked much better.

Spear = harpoon
Speargun = harpoon gun

Why the use 4 different words for the 2 things (especially as people keep thinking that “harpoon” means “speargun”) I don’t know.
