Since last patch I’ve been noticing this. Checked with more ppl, and more are experiencing the same issue.

Even if I resize it to be smaller, it end up becoming large again when I open. Can you please fix this? Its keep covering almost all my screen >_> .

O.o that’s weird indeed. For me it occasionally gets shorter at times. I usually have it stretched to show 10 slots per row and 8 or 10 rows height but after certain actions (that I can’t recall which ones) when I open it back it’s sized to show 3 or 4 slots on per row and 5 or less rows height.

Edit: I see you have bags hidden, just for troubleshooting purpose does it also happen when you have Bags Shown?

Super annoying. Even if your bags are stretched to a single line the window keeps adding empty space on the right each time you open it.

Same problem here. I keep mine a nice even 10 slots wide, and it keeps resizing to 11. Not always right away though. I can open and close it a bit after resizing back to my normal desires, but always within a few minutes it takes matters into it’s own hands again.

This is really annoying, since I have multiple armor combinations set up in my inventory in just such-and-such a way for quick changes.

MAYBE something to do with scrolling? I have enough bags that I have a scroll bar. Is the game widening my Inventory screen in order to remove the scroll bar? Hmm…

HOTFIX PLEASE!

Don’t bother resizing it right now, it just gets messed up again.

While not being a major concern, I must say that this issue is highly visible and incredibly annoying!

If a fix can be prepared sooner rather than later, it would be much appreciated.

Same thing. My inv usualy is 10 slots per row, but now it resizes to 12 slots, and i cant let it half outside the screen.

Ya. It would be nice to get this fixed.

This is happening to me and several players in my guild as well. Please hotfix this ASAP.

14 more minutes and the video will be uploaded to show the developers how to re-create the issue and to validate that it is in fact changing on its own. Basically I re-size the bag, open and close inventory about 5-10 times and it changes on its own.

Yup another ANNOYING bug from this patch.

Yeah every time I open my inv it pops at random sizes. Even if I change the size to the way I want it, it doesn’t stick.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this bug. It is quite annoying.

It’s hard to relocate the items I’ve placed in order. Please fix the inventory window. This issue cannot be ignored.

same issue. annoying because I dont show bags, and have my spare armor sets / weapons all along the bottom. it keeps expanding it by one square and everything is messed up. this is no bueno!

Anet please please fix it! It’s so annoying.

What I have been noticing is that my backpack inventory will start expanding to the right a little each time I reopen it. I played with it to see if it would stop, but it didn’t. it just kept expanding all the way to the other side of the screen. I normally don’t have issues with most bugs but this one is too hard to ignore.

i noticed this as well, pointed it out to my guild and there all getting it. seems to expand by one column every 6 openings

just happened to me to. I thought it was the oddest thing ever and then I thought maybeI had scaled it by mistake. But reading this I know it’s a bug.

That’s what I thought at first too, that I just scaled it by accident.

This is an insanely annoying bug, as I have everything organised and set to match a specific size of the window, but it changes and moves everything around constantly.

This is driving me craaaazy!

I guess it’s one of those ‘little things’ than can drive people nuts.
It’s very, very, veeeeery annoying.

It usually expands for me as described above, although one time it moved to a different part of the screen and shrunk to a very small size.

Please fix this.

Each time you open your inventory it gets a little bit wider. After 3 or 4 openings, it’s 1 square wide. Annoying.

Yeah many were freaking out about in last night in LA.. annoying as heck for sure.. just as annoying as the age old inventory bug where the next time you open it its been minimized completely and you have to resize everything back… seems we’re destined to be kittens forever in GW2

I open my inventory and resize it to a particular size but when i close my invent and reopen it the size will change to back to what it used to be (Note. this will happen after a small about of time has passed/ it can happen immediately after though).

This is so annoying. I hope they can fix it soon. Also: trade post filters have an issue.

every map change inventory window resized. Please fix it asap

I ran some tests on this bug. I normally have my bag set to 4 wide. After it goes to 5 wide due to the bug, I began counting the number of opens between the resize. On every 6th open of a character’s inventory (whether it’s pressing I 6 times on the same character or switching characters between opens) the game adds 1 more slot to the width of the bag. I started at 5, open 6 bags and on the sixth is was 6 slots wide. Six more opens and it was 7 slots wide, then 8, then 9. It seems to be set to add a width slot on every sixth open.

Same bug, please fix it’s driving me nuts
