This quest is bugged on Isle of Janthir. Dead loggers, no ghostly minions, displaced spirits don’t lead me anywhere, and the world event right next to this heart is bugged.

Unable to complete Heart in Hellion Forest – Iron Marches.
as mentioned above – fight life stealing minions in hellion forest(being unable to finish bria even is also hindering lost spirits, with spirits being stuck in a tree 30 feet off the ground)

Server – Henge of Denravi

Theres some bugs on the 54 Heart area:

After doing the heart quest, Karma vendor won’t open.
Theres a Event around this heart named:
“Kill the Flame Legion Shaman” the boss simply wont respawn, I never seen this boss.

Im playing at Crystal Desert server.

Ps. Theres a lot of bots around the game, Rangers playing like machine everywhere.

Best thing to do while its bugged is:

- Find the logger
- Revive him
-A shadow fiend will spawn ( let fiend kill him)
- U kill fiend
- Loggers spirit will be close
- Follow the spirt, kill spiders and revive logger.

Repeat like x3 and it works.

Can’t complete the Life Stealing Minions renown heart in Hellion Forest. The displaced spirits do not go anywhere. There are no spirits attacking loggers which are all appearently dead on the ground. So there’s nothing to do and I can’t complete this area 100%.

The nearby dynamic event with Bria is also bugged as no sign of Bria anywhere. I tried going in the house via the back door and upstairs, but nothing there either.

Server – Yak’s Bend.

None of the escort events work, they all just stand in place not moving, ive run into 1 dead heart quest aswell, there are no ghost spiders and spirits are hanging high in the treas for some reason unreachable.

Im on Aurora Glade.

For example im right now next to an event called : Raid the separatist camp with the Warhound Village veterans, and those guys just stand there on top of a cage not doing anything.

Than theres an event where you need to kill Bria and rescue cubs, but she is not there and there are no cubs or anything.

Than theres an event near Lake Desolann as i remember where you need to escort a battlegroup to clear the coast but they also just stand there doing nothing at all.

And theres many more of such bugs in that location, these i only ones ive could remember from my head.

That zone is unplayable

And now im trying to do a heart quest called: Fight life: Stealing minions in hellion forest,

there are no ghostly spiders at all, there are no shadow fiends attacking loggers, and theres only 1 spirit that could be taken to its body, but its standing high up in a tree shaking and is completely unreachable.

I understand that game may have some bugs nut this is getting rediculous!

On the Aurora Glade server, the dynamic event in Hellion Forest has been bugged for quite some time now, and impossible to complete.

Players are expected to battle the shadow fiend at the witch’s cottage, but the shadow fiend is not there (either it didn’t spawn, or spawned outside the map bounds). The doors to the cottage are permanently open, and the witch herself is missing.

Players cannot complete this dynamic event currently, it seems permanently stuck. The witch has been present after an earlier server reset before Halloween, but again the shadow fiend was missing back then, as well as the npc’s (who were stuck inside the house back then). The npc’s at least seem to all be present outside the cottage, and you can talk to them, which is better than before. But there is still no way to complete the event.

Bria’s Manor dynamic event has blocked all action in the area. Something is in the house at the site and causes FEAR when you attempt to enter the building. If I attack, something gets destroyed and the fear effect goes away for a bit but when I attempt to enter the building I am blocked. The ‘Fear Aura’ emanates at the door entryway. The Heart quest nearby is stopped and the ‘lost spirits’ are hanging in the trees and do not allow completion of the quest. This was happening on the Yak’s Bend server.

This quest is also broken on Aurora Glade. Bria is gone, and the quest is waiting for the players to kill the Shadow Fiend, which is nowhere to be found. The door to the cottage is wide open, with the fear-wall active, and the backdoor is also open. The other npc’s are now correctly appearing outside the cottage, but the event chain is still stuck.

Only one of the loggers can actually be returned to his body, all the others are bugged. Fortunately this one logger has allowed several players on Aurora Glade to at least complete the heart quest, even if it is a long and tedious process of camping one logger.

Confirmed as still bugged on the 11/11/2012, any news from ANet when this will be looked into and fixed as it stops map completion. Would be nice for some reply to this issue.

Bugged on Sanctum of Rall, as well. It’s not impossible, as on rare occasions there will be a part of it working. It’s very difficult, though.

Ghostly spiders and shadow fiends are not spawning. Also event quest is not activating.

US – Dragonbrand

I’m on the Gates of Madness server, and the Iron Marches zone is bugged almost beyond enjoyability. I’ve completely given up on finding an event that actually works (with the exception of the Searing village one to the south), the quest where you must return Displaced Spirits to their bodies is bugged with some Displaced Spirits becoming corporeal and unable to return to their bodies, the witch event is locked with the door blocked, the iron shipment escort to Cowlfang is bugged…. I mean come on.

This quest is still broken on Aurora Glade… 10 days and counting…This is totally unacceptable. We cant progress exploration..

Was so 2 months ago already, lots of posts about it, returned to this map with a new character today: same dead quests.

Maybe I will invite 2 friends for the upcoming events and show them this part :-)

bugged on Seafarers Server too. Already second day i cant finish it. im around 40 % and now nothing spawns anymore

Yak’s Bend server also has this problem. Last night I also only found ONE logger and it took me 29 minutes of standing by and protecting him after I got him back to his body before I finally completed this one.

The event never triggered either. These bugged things really need to be addressed better.

Seriously, Fight Life Stealing Minions In Hellion Forest has been bugged forever. Would love to be able to complete this part. The Brie event is bugged out as well. Borlis Pass server.

Update: late last night we were able to get the “Fight Life Stealing Minions” event to work. It appears something was fixed because we even were able to trigger the event.

She is hard to take down with less than 5 people since we were constantly fighting respawned spiders and those shadow fiends of hers. She also seemed to heal herself several time during the fighting but we finally got her.

Discovered she also went invulnerable periodically…so had to switch tactics. Good job fixing this. Was a lot of fun to work on.

more than 2 months and it still bugged as hell, come on guys fix it plz i need it now.

Can you guys just make it so the normal spiders count toward completion? That would bypass trying to fix that Bria event that always bugs out… day after day after day.

The whole Iron Marches zone needs some serious tinkering. It has the most bugged events of any zone I’ve seen.

Same problems on Tarnished Coast server:

Bria event doesn’t work – enemy is in the house and you can’t get in there.
I can only find four displaced spirits and only one of those will return to his body.
The escort event for the Warhound Village veterans is also not working, the veterans just stand there.

I have only been in Iron Marches less than an hour and that’s what I found.

Stormbluff Isle, still having the same issue :*( looks like world completion for legendary have to wait….

The displaced spirits are up the trees, the bodies are not interact-able, no ghost spiders, Bria is bugged (there is a back door to the house, but nothing is inside)

Also having the same problem on Dragonbrand. The Bria event is bugged with nothing inside the house.

The 2 displaced spirits are both stuck up in trees so the quest is impossible to complete.

no Minions there, the only lost soul seems to be stucked.

It’s tedious and slow going but with some skill and patience (and heap ton of luck) you can lure two grubs to barrage Primus, assuming the three people are standing in front of the house for you, in hopes for a revive count. Sometimes the Soldier can be lured out if a grub resets making this slightly easier.
Mostly however Abel mucks everything up being a Necromancer and casting Death Shroud at low life. He usually becomes the focus of enemy agro.
So far it’s about a 60% success rate at getting Primus killed.

If you attempt this, Good Luck to you.

On Piken Square the ghost is stuck in the ground in the door spamming fear on everyone. Can’t target it either.

i am also unable to do anything towards the ‘fight the life stealing minions’ quest. no spirits go anywhere. there are no loggers to protect.

I do not think this is a server-specific issue. On Drakkar Lake the Hellion Forest bugs out usually one or two days after server reset (at the latest). It is almost funny to see the rush on Hellion Forest after each server reset when many people try to complete that area before it becomes impossible again. Almost.

Just as an addition: The health bar in the event screen is empty, so possibly Bria didn’t die properly.

The guy stuck in the tree is a bug with the renown heart in that area, where you have to lead the logger ghosts to their bodies.

Same thing for Underworld. But hey, why even bother fixing those things? It’s just one small event…

Submitted in-game reports for these three earlier today, but wanted to add that they are still bugged as described above on Gandara. The Hellion Forest heart is possible to complete, but only by camping the one displaced spirit NPC that actually seems to work at the moment.

I’m also having this problem, both with the Task and the World Event, on the Aurora Glade server.

Still bugged on Stormbluff Isle.

This is still broken on Jade Quarry. Just bugged it. I’m having to camp a spot where two shadow fiends periodically spawn because nothing else seems to work for the Hellion Forest heart quest.

If they spent half as much time fixing bugs as nerfing class after class, this would be a great game, but as it is I’m losing pretty much all confidence in the devs. Whatever direction they seem to want to move in is not one I’m interested in following.

I thought I’d get my gold star today, Iron Marches being my last zone and more than half complete, but this bugged heart will clearly prevent that. Tarnished Coast Sat Dec 29th, no ghosts of any sort except for one just hanging out at his body.

Not again? I reported this over a month ago and for a very short period it seemed to be fixed. But if it is bugged again, I cannot imagine what the devs are doing.

There is something inherently wrong when bugged events don’t get fixed properly and require a server reset just to temporarily fix the issue.

I say fix the issue permanently, not on a temporary basis. Sadly, this is the case with the majority of the game bugs I’ve run into.

I just posted this in the thead specific to the broken heart but I’ll note it here as well. I didn’t think a broken heart would be why I didn’t get my gold star before New Years!

Correction, there is one working ghost. I had to cycle her three or four times but I got the heart and my star. /happy
