I haven’t heard anything recently about the lost shores rewards and those that were unable to get their chest due to DCing and was wondering if it was still being looked into, or just being ignored?

I wanna know too!

They’re working on a way to reward players that were unable to get their chest. It was in the AMA and they’ve made a few posts about it. I’m actually pretty sure there’s one in the News and Announcements forum.

You have to keep in mind a number of things they need to check include (but not limited to)
– who attacked the Ancient Karka and didn’t get chest reward.
– out of those who disconnected prior to finish and reconnected shortly after into a finished instance.

You have to remember they have to work out ways to sort out between those who really did disconnect due to network issues, and those who gave up due to the amount of time it was taking (and lack of drops) only to find out they had a chance at a precurser and felt cheated when they raced back and couldn’t get the chest.

It’s not a matter of putting the blurb together, but for the team to investigate what can be done and how it will be done. That said, I came back to my desk to find an email with information on what is being done about the situation.

We have confirmed that we can provide everyone who did not have the opportunity to loot the chest with a reward for their participation. All affected players will receive a reward regardless of whether or not they have contacted Support. We’re working very hard on this, and you should have a reward in your in-game mail early next week.
