Item lost its transmuted skin after 24 hours
This is a bump!
It appears many many many people had their weapon skins reset after the patch. Is there any official confirmation this can be fixed, we’ll get the investments refunded, or at the very least that it won’t happen again?
It’s an issue with the Whisperer weapons in general. They appear to have been swapped with Mighty skins/icons as of the last night. Don’t buy one off the trading post, as you will receive a Mighty version of the weapon.
I lost unique appearance of my transumted staff as well. I can’t remember how my staff was named but I was so happy with the skin… Now I just have Mighty staff. It’s so annoying. “When its ready” they said. At least can someone tell if this bug will be fixed soon?!

The Whisperers skins are intended to be only acquired if you join the Order of Whispers, but unfortunately a handful of the skins were set up in core loot drops. In the other night’s patch, we fixed this bug and converted the existing weapons into the intended skin. If you acquired the weapon through the intended means (joining the Order and purchasing the exclusive skin), those weapons were not affected by the fix. Only the ones that were erroneously dropped as core loot were affected. Apologies for the mistake! If you loved the skin, I highly recommend selecting the Order of Whispers through your personal story and you’ll be able to acquire it again.

For those of us that had the weapons and now do not, will we be refunded the transmutation stones?
Very disappointed, but at least I understand why. But as Weresentme says, give us back the transmutation stones. Why should we pay for your mistakes. Yes, probably I’m exaggerating right now, but today I just had enough of this. It’s been a week and the game fails repeatedly.
