My Krait Obilesk Shard won’t reset for another skill point after the first use. Two daily resets have come and gone and it won’t change. Everything I’ve seen says it’s supposed to give a skill point per day.

Everything I’ve seen on the forums so far suggested that it was a skill point like every single other skill point in game: once per character.
Beyond that, it is a place of power where you can charge your quartz crystals if you have any.

Well according to wiki, it sounds like it should reset.

Krait Obelisk Shards are shards of an ancient krait obelisk that was recently found in the possession of krait across Tyria when the Toxic Alliance was revealed.
A Krait Obelisk Shard can be added to the home instance by using Krait Obelisk Shard (item). This shard is a place of power and provides a skill point once per day.

But then in a note it says: Upon first use, the shard will grant each character one skill point.

So the way it’s phrased is a bit confusing. I would suspect the note is correct but it doesn’t hurt to bring it to their attention, just in case it’s supposed to reset daily.

The wiki has been updated to be less confusing. The Shard will only grant one life-time skill point.

From the release notes: ‘Finishing the Tower of Nightmares meta-achievement will reward the player with a personal Krait Obelisk Shard, a place of power for their home instance. It can be used to obtain a skill point and to charge Quartz Crystals once per day.’
