Before the last patch, I didn’t have any problems with large groups of mobs or players causing any performance issues.

Now, with large groups of mobs there are problems.

Example…

AC path 2, the part with the spike traps and you kite the mobs around while players turn on the switches.

I never had any problem with any performance with this encounter before the last patch but since the patch, it causes severe lag.

On the switches up top and facing the mobs….facing the mobs….. is the problem. If I turn around and not face the mobs, I have performance issues at all.

Didn’t have this problem with dragons either but since the patch I have.

Did something get changed in the video that I need to adjust my settings?
Did something get added to be build upon to fix other issues and we are waiting for that last part to be installed?
Or is this a new bug?

I’ve been getting extreme lag/delay. Feels like major lag, problem is. GW2 is the only game that has this problem. Ever since the new patch on March 1st. I’ve been lagging non stop. Other games will not have this problem. It isn’t my internet. I’m not losing packets. It is the game.

Yeah i’m having the same problem , since le last patch i’m lagging non stop and it’s not coming from my conexion

I too have been experiencing this as of the previous patch. Skill lags, attunement swapping lags, Ride the Lightning skill jumps all over the place instead of being smooth. I have been experiencing this in open world, towns, and dungeons.

Ever since last patch game has been near unplayable for me. It happens in WvW and PvE, it feels like stonemist battle is going on. No skills work including autoattack not working. I can dodge roll nonstop on my screen and lose no endurance.

I noticed this while doing Teq earlier today; my autoattacks would simply not go off, leading to me getting a Silver medal instead of Gold, even though I was there and attacking the entire time.

In addition, whenever he did his fear, everyone in the area would stutter-step away from him for close to 10 seconds, instead of the 2 that the fear is supposed to take.

Same thing is happening for me. Never before did I have any performance or connection issues but since last patch I’m now lagging like crazy and I keep getting disconnected from the game.

I have not had any problems since playing this morning / afternoon.

To make it clear, some people have the problems till now.
Today i couldnt do almost anything in the game..
I think i lost some minutes of crafting boost because lagging all the time.
The same on dungeons and cities, even when i stay in one place.

Please, fix it as fast as u can, Arena NET, we cant have fun playing

Obvious-but-copable lag this morning and early afternoon. Terrible lag right now. Died twice while skills flashed but nothing happened for 15-30sec.

Same problem, really bad performance since the last few patches. It is as if they have broken something. Really BAD in WvW.

Also have the same problem. The game has become near unplayable for me. I am leveling an alt right now and even playing solo in an unpopulated zone the game is still extremely laggy. Doing and event or WvW is just not an option. Glad I’m not the only one suffering from this but hopefully it gets fixed soon.

Location: MI, US. — Server: Ehmry Bay -- Zone(s): Kessex Hills, Gendarran Fields, Bloodtide Coast, Wayfarer Foothills, Snowden Drifts, more (presumably all PvE).

Disconnect (same) problems. Seem to occur when areas change, but may be independent of that also. Game displays the “Lost connection to server” error and defaults to main menu. Some lag issues also.

Makes leveling and doing dailies and events very difficult.

Same problems with slow graphics, NPC not visible, players fade out or don’t show up, dragon events are a slide show. Game was working fine until recent patch.

The lag is annoying to the point of being unable to tell what you’re doing exactly in the dragon and zone boss events. My game decided to freeze from everything between the start of one of the fights to me looting the chest, and annoyingly, the chest was gone by the time I logged back in.

The lag and delays are ridiculous and now intolerable, especially in high-graphic areas. I never had these problems before, and whatever is causing them to spring up now, I hope it gets fixed.

I’ve noticed this issue, too. It’s very frustrating. For one, it’s much more difficult to get credit for your participation. The lag is so awful that you’re lucky if your character gets a hit at all on the boss. Forget healing or any supportive spells.

Chasing dragons was one of the most enjoyable part of my GW2 experience. My guild and I really enjoy it. However, it’s turned into a total mob of whining players and a very unpleasant gaming experience for all involved.

I have the same kind or similar issue. I have noticed that when i minimize the game for a min, and then max it again I have no problems for like 1-2 min and then the lag/delay strikes back again. I play different games, no problem with Internet, and I haven’t got it before. My PC is up to date and the frames are 30-40 constant, but the lag/delay thingy still applies. IT’S A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!
