Melee class /warrior poor control system
Look, i dont see any problem with this… i came from WoW, and, as far as i know, WoW has a similar melee movement schemes… So i see no problem with this… If you just need to hit a skill and the game do the rest for you, then you would be no more than a bot, just watching the game, like in strategy games.
I like to move after my mob. And specially in this game where dodge and run are vital for survival, an auto-move on attacks seems a deadly trap.
I already hate when i use skills with movement on bad timing (like sword #2 and GS #5) and end downed due to being crushed by a boss. If every attack did that i would be like crazy looking for a way to deactivate it.

If i would of been a wow fan, now i will be playing MOP and not GW2. I will give you a few examples of games which have the auto attack feature" Aion, Diablo3, Cabal and many more except RIFT, which i dint played it because of this little control problem.
I want auto run to target and attack to be optional, just like in other games, but i want it to be there. For those who don’t want to use it, just un-check it, no problem.
Fine… I agree that you have the right to ask for it. But, as far as it is known, the movement for melee classes are working as intended. So this is not a bug.
If you would like that change to be made, which, i have nothing against as long as i have the option to deactivate it, you should post it on the Suggestions forum, not the Bug one, since it’s not a bug.

Nevermind, it is working as intended…meanwhile i am completing my refund ticket.
I have very big doubts they will implement it this year.
Since i dint had any trial option, try before you buy, then i will ask for a refund and pay for another game. I will even contact my bank to cease any payments to AN if i have too.
