Hey, I had 3 achievements daily and monthly done, now when I login they did all reset. Anyone know why or how to resolve?

I think that this deserves a signal boost. Some players were reset while others were not. Some of the reset players had not completed their monthly, while others had and were reset anyway. Could someone please explain what happened and why only certain players were reset?

I would also add that the players who had their dailies and monthlies reset appear to be getting the full rewards a second time, even if they had completed it prior. That’s a lot of extra Laurels and stuff.

I would also like to know what’s going on with this. I completed mine before, no reset, so I’m still showing 2/2 completed. This is kind of a big deal if some players are getting two rewards.

I know there are people who didn’t get their first set of monthlies even though they FINISHED all of the monthly goals, too. Anet really needs to speak up about what the heck’s going on.

I didn’t even get a chest the first time.

Had five achievements done before the patch, didn’t get a chest at 2/2, didn’t get one after four either. My achievements didn’t reset after patch, but apparently now others did, so that’s two chests I’m out now. One I earned (and didn’t get), one I’m interested in earning if that’s the way things should be.

And I did submit a ticket, and tried to fight over the course of a straight week now through it, forums, and reporting an in-game bug submission trying to get my issue resolved. Not a response on the other thread, and they closed the ticket on me.

Neither my husband and I had our monthly achievements reset. It certainly would be nice to have those reset if the rewards can be claimed again. Either they should ensure that everyone is reset or that nobody is reset.

Same here monthly was finished but didn’t reset. I asked people in my guild that also had the whole monthly finished (every category) and theirs was reset, so I guess its a bug?
I really want to be able to earn the rewards/AP once again :/

Mine didn’t reset at all but I know of other people who did reset completely. I would like the opportunity to do monthly again this month like other people. I hope this is addressed soon while there is still reasonable time.

My problem is that I just needed one more Monthly Achievement to receive the Reward, and i had a full reset.

Signal boosting. Same problem here. I got my chest at 2/2 earlier but had five done at reset. These are still set at full completion and no chest for 4/4.

It was supposed to reset. They announced that they’d be resetting with the patch, and then it was only 2 achieves needed to complete it. I believe the bug is with those who did 2/2 and don’t now have the option to do 4/4 in the remainder of the month.

Its not, I did the whole monthly before (all categories at 100%, both PvE and PvP) and it did not reset.

My Monthly didn’t reset. I had 3/4 before and after the patch.

They specifically said that it wasn’t going to be reset.

Before April 15, we could finish 2 PvE and 2 PvP monthlies, now it is 4 monthlies in total. One of the two “Completionist” monthlies vanished from the list (or maybe they were merged?). Some people’s achievements were reset, others’ weren’t. It’s obviously broken either way.

While it was really nice to give everyone bonus chests and such, for some reason some people have over 2000 WvW bonus chests and others (like me) only gotten 1.

To me it seems very weird that I only got 1 bonus chest, missing all the ranks i gained through the making of account bound WXP.

Also, giving people 2,2k bonus chests, as a bug, feels extremely insane as well. (That’s like 400 gold, counting 20 silver per chest)

still 20 silver times 2k (my friend) =400 gold
and times your 3k is like 600 gold

granted every chest is 20 silver.

well that would explain some of my bonus chests as I created and deleted quite a few characters yesterday to unlock the starter headgear, but that doesn’t account for all of them. SO odd!

So basically its a bug is what your saying, in which case anet will most likely roll that back, because you know some people will abuse that fast,

For the OP, I didn’t get any bonus chests at all.

As is it’ll take eons to actually get all of those bonus chests. Maybe someday I’ll get most of them, or they’ll roll it back. Either way whoopie doo…a whole nother 2 greens :P

According to this, because the feature pack comes halfway through the month, April’s monthly achievements will be a special case. Until April 15, the PvE and PvP monthly categories will be separate and require only two achievements for completion. After April 15, there will be a single unified set of monthlies and dailies, and monthly completion will again require four total achievements.

roll back or delete all the bonus chests from everyone

All mine were reset too so I’m having to start again.

Prior to the patch my monthly achievements had bugged so I didn’t get the chest / laurels (others have also had this problem). I’m now waiting to hear from cs.

It is because people have made new characters and it adds the rank onto them thus giving them the other bonus chests

You might have a long wait. I fought with them for a week and they ended up closing my ticket on me. When I asked why, they said “there wasn’t anything they could do”.

I’ve got about 1196 bonus chests remaining..My biggest problem at the moment is that I keyfarm, so I remake charachters on a daily basis and I’d rather not get flagged for exploiting this bug as I do wvw….

it would be nice to get an official statement on how to deal with this bug… I don’t want to get flagged for ‘exploiting’ this, but since there is no way to identify the ‘regular’ rank up chest and a bonus chest (or even daily reward chest) i opened all of the bonus chests i got until now

So, people exploiting and getting rich. I expect nothing less but punishment Anet..

It reminds me of the same issue that happened a few months ago (wait, 1 year ago I think. It was before Dragon Bash release or before, I can’t recall for sure). It was when they made the change in the achievements UI or some other change, at that time some ppl got the chest twice due a bug with monthly reseting, other had no chance to complete it.

We just finished the great jungle wurm with TxS and I didn’t get a daily chest (neither did about 1/3 of the zerg)

Just as a side note, its scaling is all over the place. We melted 60% of crimsons health in +-5seconds.
Afterwards all the other heads descaled as well and melted nearly immediately, resulting in a “successful” kill.

And a last additional thing: Most of our people had their game crash twice directly after the escort event started right in the beginning of the whole thing.

Today and yesterday about 1/3 to 1/2 off our participants on the Wurm kill did not got the daily wurm chest.
I miss mine from yesterday.
The loot is bad enough as it is. Please fix this and refund.
It is really getting annoying.

Second day in a row now we (TXS) have completed the Triple Trouble Evolved Jungle Wurm event in Bloodtide Coast, and both times (post patch) has resulted in 1/4 – 1/3 of our participants across all three wurm heads, not recieving the daily “The Wurm’s Golden Chest” achievement even though we get the large in game chest and full event participation rewards (karma and xp)

Yep, no wurm chest. At least 70 people from our teamspeak didn’t get the chest. Congratulations, not only we can do the Wurm only once a day at more or less normal hour, we do not even get the rewards now!

I too did not get the reward chest now the second time in a row.

I didn’t get this chest either.
I didn’t even recieve the big chest that spawns on the map even though I did PLENTY of damage.

It would be nice to get an answer on this. I want to add more of the starter items (hoods, goggles, etc.) to the wardrobe and don’t want to get suspended for exploiting this when I am not trying to do so. Even though the chests are unearned, it would still take forever for most people to get through them anyway so is it really that big a deal?

Erm.. Yes? Omg, yah anet why dont you just give everyone 2000g and make everyone happy. Its funny that when you patch anything you bug 2 or 3 things. Dont you even have a test server?

Hello, love your game, havent played in a while and decided to comeback. So I started running Dungeons. Now after the update is started having a bug where reward chest would not show up, you can see them on the map but not in game. This happened 4/5 times. Missing chest I can understand, big patch many things and occasional bugs. But in my last run I did not get Reward XP. That is where I have to draw the line. I hope this will get looked at asap and it exists across all Dungeons. If anyone else having similar issues please let me know so that I know I’m not the only one.
